Chapter 93 - 093

Chapter 93: 093

On the night of the third day, Azier and Adriana were at a breaking point but what was more nerve-racking to Azier was Adriana’s constant nagging.

He was about to snap at her when the door of his study opened and Alpha Raul walked inside impatiently.

They both looked at him simultaneously.

"I don’t want to get involved directly but I will send you some of my men. Tonight you can attack and I will stay here to take the Omega with me". Alpha Raul explained, no traces of his usual playful self on his face.

"Is he at the mansion or pack?" Adriana asked, breaking the tension in the air. As the two men exchanged glares.

"The pack house, he has been going back and forth between the two places the last few days but he will be at the pack house tonight".

"How is it possible that he hasn’t suspected you since his Omega went missing.

From the information I gathered, you both are on bad terms and your relationship got worse recently because you took his Omega". Azier asked as he looked straight at Alpha Raul as if he could see through him. He did not fully support Adriana’s plan of using him because he could betray them.

"It makes no sense Alpha". He added while cocking an eyebrow as Alpha Raul stayed silent.

He chuckled humourlessly, of course Alpha Mitch had accused him but it would ruin his plan if he told him what happened.

"I think you need to work on how you get your information. He suspected me and we indeed fought but he realised quickly that I wasn’t the one that took his Omega".

Alpha Raul explained with a shrug and he subtly studied Azier’s facial expression. He smirked at the slight shift of his expression and the clenching of his fists.

He had struck a nerve and he was satisfied by the result of it.

Everyone had their guard up and no one was at peace.

Alpha left the house to stay in his car to wait for the nightfall. He smoked silently in the car as he tried to think.

If he was asked the reason for getting involved in this, he can’t explain because he also doesn’t understand what he was doing.

He should be watching by the side as the great pack of Alpha Mitch falls to it shambles but here he was helping him. The same person he had vowed to ruin.

At the pack house, Alpha Mitch gave instructions and was getting ready for the night.

He was extra careful and doesn’t want anything to go wrong but he has another fear deep inside.

What if he doesn’t make it back?

What if Raul betrayed him?.

These thoughts kept his mind occupied that he did not hear his phone beep on the table until someone called his name.

"Alpha, I think you have a call". Boston said as he had zoned off in the middle of their conversation.

"Where is Gale?" He asked him instead of picking up the phone until it sounded again.

"He left the pack house a few hours ago". Boston replied and waited as he picked up the phone.

Alpha Mitch’s expression went from passive to anger in less than seconds. His eyes remained glued to the screen of the phone and his chest heaved.

"Is everything alright?" Boston asked but he got his response as the phone was suddenly thrown across the room and it shattered immediately.

He took a step back as he realised the Alpha was pissed.

Alpha Mitch stood out his seat and walked to the window to calm himself.

He had been sent another video of Tristan, the fear in his eyes as he stared at the camera had punched him straight in the guts.

How can he call himself an Alpha King when he can’t keep the closest person to his heart safe and sound?

He left the window and took his car keys, and hurried out of the pack house.

He didn’t bother to look or talk to anyone and drove away from the pack house at a high speed.

According to the, the pack house would be attacked tonight and he would be captured. And once Alpha Raul got Tristan back to safety he would come back to help him out.

Even if it appeared flawless he doubted if things would go as planned, there are many things that could go wrong but he would make sure Tristan gets out of there. No matter what.

The car slowed down as the familiar cabin appeared out of the surrounding forestation.

Outside the cabin, Agatha was seated sorting through some sunflower seeds.

She didn’t even look up as the car parked and the person inside came down.

She was disappointed and a little upset at him, she had been expecting him for months but he was just showing up now.

"Agatha". Alpha Mitch called in a strained voice unsure of how to start a conversation with her.

"Just say why you are here Alpha". She replied and finally raised her head to look at him.

"Where is your mate?" She asked as he didn’t speak for a few minutes.

Alpha Mitch sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

He had less than thirty minutes to spend there but he needed to know his fate before he left.

He had always called their power fake and doesn’t believe in it but now he needed the assurance.

"I want to know how near is my death". He said after a little hesitation.

It was difficult to say but he had no time to duel on it.

Agatha’s hand paused on the seeds for a few seconds.

"You will live long enough to regret a lot of things but I’m not sure about your mate." She replied but his eyebrows pulled together in confusion.

He understood the words she said but he couldn’t process it until she spoke again.

"After the loss of your child, he had never been the same. You shouldn’t worry about your death, worry about making him happy". She replied and stood up.

"Thank you". He said with a slight bow as she turned her back to him.
