Chapter 348: The Eternal Wanderer

Chapter 348: The Eternal Wanderer

The letter was from an anonymous sender, and for a moment the Soverign thought that it was just a joke, but a moment later the Soverign’s eyes widened when he read a certain line in the letter.

[...I know you have reached a plateau in your power. That vial in your hand contains a special serum that allows any creature to surpass their mortal limits. If you wish to acquire more of it, then meet me at the mountains overlooking the Ashenvalley Forest.]

The Sovereign was shocked by those words, and he looked down at the vial in his hand with obvious distrust! Could he really put his trust in a strange liquid given to him by some unknown person? This could be poison that was sent by his enemies, or it could even contain a mind-controlling serum! But the Soverign suddenly frowned as he wondered what was the point? Even if it was poison or some strange potion that would affect him negatively, wouldn’t dying be better than whatever he was living now? He already lost everything he could ever desire, so since he had nothing more to lose, he was going to put his trust in this strange liquid and see if he could gain back his reason to live!

The Soverign drank the strange liquid in one gulp, and for a moment, there was no reaction, but all of a sudden, the Soverign felt it! An exhilarating surge of power rising from deep inside his body! His muscles stretched and contracted as they prepared for any movement, and his heart began to race even faster! The Sovereign felt his eyes widen in shock! This was it! This was the feeling that the Sovereign had been looking for all this time! This is the same feeling that he always had when he was just a child who was still looking for power! The Sovereign let out a deep, rumbling laugh as he clenched his fist tightly! Even without training, the Sovereign knew that he had unlocked even more of his potential! If he trained now, then he would definitely get stronger!

That day, the Sovereign’s wives and children were shocked when they saw him rush out of his room and begin moving to take his armor and sword. The armor and sword hadn’t been touched in nearly a year, so they couldn’t even mutter a word as the Soverign put on his clothes and he quickly went to his dragon before taking off! His family had no idea what had happened to the Soverign, but they would always remember that day as the day the Soverign decided that he would stage a coup!

The Soverign flew over to the mountains overlooking the Ashenvalley Forest, and he landed on one of the mountains and dismounted from his dragon. He looked around curiously to see if the anonymous writer was there, but there was nobody. Did the writer leave? No, he couldn’t have left! Why would he leave after sending him that letter?

Twoom!

Suddenly, a Dimensional Tear opened in the space in front of the Soverign, and the Soverign’s hand went to his sword almost instinctively as he prepared for a fight! From the other side of the Dimensional Tear, a man walked out. The man was tall, far taller than the Sovereign, and he had pale white skin that was almost delicate. He was wearing a long black tunic over his slim body, and on his back he carried a large backpack. He had a head of white hair that almost blended in with his skin, and his eyes were pure white. The man looked large enough to be intimidating, but for some reason, the Soverign felt an intense surge of calmness spread through his body the moment he laid eyes on this man! It was almost like being in front of the man prevented him from being able to draw his sword!

The Soverign didn’t need to think for long before he realized exactly who this was.

"An Eternal Wanderer."

The Soverign spoke up in a shocked tone, and the Eternal Wanderer smiled when the Soverign spoke his title. The Eternal Wanderers were a very unique race of people in the Primordial Expanse. Unlike most races that had a singular world that they could call home, the Eternal Wanderers belonged to a place known as the Wandering World. And just like the name suggested, their world was constantly moving around the Primordial Expanse and taking root in various dimensions. This made it impossible for the Eternal Wanderers to stay in one place, and they were known to constantly travel around the Primordial Expanse as they followed after their world. But along with the eternal search for their world, the Eternal Wanderers were also known for one other thing. They were the greatest group of merchants in the Primordial Expanse.

The Eternal Wanderers had taken advantage of their constantly Wandering World, and they began to buy and sell from the people all across the Primordial Expanse. The Eternal Wanderers were known to always be aware of exactly what anyone would want to buy or sell, and they showed themselves only to those they were willing to make trades with. This allowed their legend and reputation to grow, and it wasn’t long before they were seen as the single greatest group of merchants in the Primordial Expanse! There were even rumors that the Eternal Wanderers had sold or bought things from the Primordials themselves! But since the Eternal Wanderers never spoke about their trades with other customers, no one knew if it was true or not.

The Eternal Wanderer spoke up with that smile still on his face.

"Fulma Rodge. Designation Planet PDM-132942-Alpha, also known as Radagan. Current Rank, SSS. My name is J. It is a pleasure to meet you."

The Eternal Wanderer had spoken with a proper Radagan tongue, so the Soverign was able to understand him easily. The Sovereign eyed J for a few seconds before he raised the veil in his hand.

"You sent me this?"

J nodded and spoke:

"Yes, I did. It was necessary to ensure you believed my claim that I could aid you. And you can rest assured that I was not lying. That vial contained Lyrgat Venom mixed with the tears of the Skygiants."

The Soverign furrowed his brows.

"I do not know these things."

"Of course, you don’t. But even if you did, you would still not be able to get them. They are very rare. The Lyrgat will take a thousand years to produce even one vial of venom, and the world of the Skygiants exists two thousand Dimensional Leaps away from here. You cannot reach them."

"If they are so rare, then why did you give it to me?"

The Eternal Wanderer smiled.

"I gave it to you because I sensed your need, and I have come to offer a trade. Would you be willing to enter into a trade with me?"

The Sovereign hesitated for only a moment before he gave a calm nod in response. The Eternal Wanderer’s smile widened before he half-turned to the side and pointed towards the Ashenvalley Forest in the distance.

"There is a creature within that Forest known as the King of the dragons, Rumunaga. I wish to acquire it from you, and in exchange, I will grant you one vial of potion every day for the next ten years."

The Sovereign’s eyes widened in shock once he heard this! The Sovereign still remembered the surge of power that he had felt from the potion when he drank it earlier, and even now, he could still feel the rush of power spreading through his body like adrenaline! Having one vial every day for the next ten years would make him grow even more powerful! If he took his training very seriously, he might even break into the realms of the Primordials!
