Chapter 2395 Two Disciples

Following this, Mu Anxiao reached out and took hold of the demonic sword. “Become invisible.”

The next second, the demonic sword vanished, cooperating perfectly. However, Mu Anxiao could still clearly sense its presence.

In the blink of an eye, Mu Anxiao left the courtyard and arrived before the stone gate of the demonic cultivation grounds. Just then, two disciples dressed in white approached her. Mu Anxiao looked at them with a calm expression and asked coldly, "What do you want?"

Disciple One: "I haven't seen you before." As he spoke, he narrowed his eyes.

Mu Anxiao nodded, intentionally shifting her gaze to Disciple Two's face. "Do you have anything to say?" she asked, sizing him up… and realizing he wasn't the disciple who had led her here.

"Who are you? Why are you appearing here?" Disciple Two asked, his words relatively sensible.

Mu Anxiao lowered her eyes and smiled. "You've finally asked the important question."

"You..."

"I appear here because I want to, do I need to give you a reason for my presence?" Mu Anxiao countered, speaking before Disciple Two could.

Disciple Two was left speechless by Mu Anxiao's retort.

Seeing Disciple Two rendered speechless by Mu Anxiao, Disciple One spoke up for him. "Whatever we ask you, you answer. Why waste each other's time with such nonsense?" His expression turned particularly stern as he spoke.

Mu Anxiao chuckled.

Disciple One was bewildered. "No, am I not saying it right? Your sudden laugh has thrown us off."

"Ask what you should ask, don't ask what you shouldn't. You can't even understand such a simple sentence," Mu Anxiao said with disdain.

Disciple Two became agitated upon hearing this. "You didn't say that just now, you… This woman is truly strange." As he spoke, his aggressive stance visibly diminished.

Disciple One straightened his back, deliberately trying to project his authority.

From their brief exchange, Mu Anxiao could tell they were not formidable individuals. With that, she lost the desire to engage with them further. "Move aside," she said, changing the subject and waving her hand.

Disciple Two was indignant. "If you don't explain yourself, I…" He glanced anxiously at Disciple One beside him. "We won't let you pass."

"Yes, explain yourself," Disciple One stated, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Disciple Two.

Mu Anxiao gave a faint smile.

Disciple One was perplexed. "What are you smiling about?"

"I'm laughing because you're stupid. I've said it so clearly, and you still don't understand what I mean," Mu Anxiao sighed. "Alas, I'm truly impressed by how foolish you two are."

"Then tell us, who exactly are you?" Disciple One pressed, getting impatient.

"I…" Mu Anxiao pointed to herself, adopting a profound expression. "My name is not something just anyone can know. If you knew it, you might…" She trailed off.

This only made the two of them more curious. "Might what?" they asked in unison, glancing at each other.

Mu Anxiao observed their curious expressions, the corners of her mouth curving into a meaningful arc. "You might be driven out of here." With that, she looked at each of them.

Unexpectedly, the moment Mu Anxiao uttered those words, they both burst into laughter…

"You two clearly don't believe me," Mu Anxiao stated, calmly accepting their 'mockery'.

The next second, they stopped laughing simultaneously. After exchanging another glance, Disciple One said, "Originally, I wasn't that curious about your identity, but now that you say that, I'm genuinely curious. Speak," he gestured with his chin, "what is your name?"

"My name…" Mu Anxiao repeated, lowering her head, then shifting her gaze to Disciple Two's face. "You want to know too."

Disciple Two averted his gaze slightly.

Mu Anxiao clicked her tongue. "When I ask you something, you answer. But speaking of which," her lips curved into a smile, "you probably won't care about this. After all, even if you get kicked out, you two will have company."

"You…"

"My name is…"

"I don't want to know." Disciple Two had finally caved.

Upon hearing this, Disciple One froze and quickly turned to look at the now-submissive Disciple Two. "Can't you see she's trying to scare us?"

"Her clothes are the same as the flower demons' clothes in the garden, and she smells the same. Whether her words are true or false, I don't care, but… I want to say," Disciple Two spoke earnestly, "I don't want to leave this place." He then lowered his gaze.

Disciple One, seeing Disciple Two's 'demeanor', clenched his fist. "How can your courage achieve anything great?"

"Your courage hasn't achieved anything great, I fear it has no greatness left to achieve," Disciple Two retorted pointedly.

Disciple One was rendered speechless by this remark…

Mu Anxiao, listening to Disciple Two's retort and seeing Disciple One's indignant silence, couldn't help but laugh. "It seems you two are not well acquainted."

"Who are you?" Disciple One redirected his gaze to Mu Anxiao's face to break the awkwardness.

The moment Disciple One spoke, Disciple Two raised his hand, covered his ears, and walked away.

Mu Anxiao then glanced at Disciple Two's retreating back and said, "If you know, you must leave."

"Your little trick might fool that fellow, but it won't fool me," Disciple One stated seriously.

Mu Anxiao smiled.

Disciple One looked confused. "What are you smiling about? Do you find what I said so funny?"

"It's quite funny. This disciple of yours, he has the ability to…" Mu Anxiao paused, then continued, "offer his head."

"What do you mean by that?" Disciple One grew impatient.

"I mean, he lacks the foresight of that other fellow."

"You…"

"My name is Mu Anxiao." Mu Anxiao deliberately interrupted Disciple One.

At the same time, as Mu Anxiao introduced herself, the arrogant expression on Disciple One's face vanished instantly. "You… you're Mu Anxiao." He looked at the Mu Anxiao before him, so different from what he had heard, in disbelief, swallowing hard.

Mu Anxiao's lips curved. "Prepare to leave," she said, tugging at the invisible red string on her wrist.

Upon seeing this, Disciple One completely forgot the saying that a man kneels only for the heavens and the earth, and fell to his knees. "This humble one failed to recognize your greatness, please… please forgive me, young lady." He looked up, almost in tears.

Mu Anxiao hadn't expected the Disciple One before her to be so cowardly. Looking down at his appearance, Mu Anxiao was unsure whether to laugh or to remain in solemn silence…

Seeing Mu Anxiao's reaction, Disciple One pouted. "Young lady…"

"If I had known you were this cowardly, I would have introduced myself sooner," Mu Anxiao said, taking a step back. "Get up, and pretend you never saw me."

"You won't chase me…"

"Scram." Mu Anxiao softly uttered the word.

Upon hearing this, Disciple One sprang to his feet… and ran away.
