Chapter 482 A Hot Temper Must Be Corrected

Feng Qishi rubbed under his nose as the wind stirred, and looked at Feng Sen ahead.

Feng Sen stopped the car and said, "Feng Qishi recognized you as a friend, which shows you're different from others. To be honest," his eyes sank, "before Feng Qishi died, I found you very annoying. But for some reason, after he left, I suddenly felt you weren't that annoying anymore. I feel you're different from all the girls I know. If you're willing, would you be friends with me?"

"You're trying to fill the void in your heart, aren't you?" Mu Anxiao suddenly said.

Feng Qishi frowned and looked at Mu Anxiao.

Feng Sen hesitated and said, "No, it's just that I feel you're very unique, and I want to be friends with you."

"So fake," Mu Anxiao said, opening the car door and getting out.

Feng Qishi glanced at the stunned Feng Sen, then stepped through the car door to Mu Anxiao's side and said, "Although I don't like him, isn't what you're doing a bit too harsh?"

Mu Anxiao, with his back to the car, glanced at Feng Qishi. "If I say being friends with your brother is not beneficial to him, but only harmful."

"Why?" Feng Qishi didn't react immediately.

Mu Anxiao curled his lips. "Are you an idiot? I'm leaving. If I agreed to your brother, what would that make me?"

Feng Qishi suddenly realized. "Oh, sorry, I forgot."

"Let's not talk about that for now. Do you feel uncomfortable here?" Mu Anxiao asked.

Feng Qishi hesitated and said, "Yes, a little, but it doesn't affect anything."

"That's good," Mu Anxiao said, turning to look at Feng Sen, who had stopped behind him.

Feng Sen looked down at Mu Anxiao and asked, "Are you really unwilling to be friends with me?"

"No," Mu Anxiao refused.

"Why? Can you give me a reason?"

"A reason," Mu Anxiao repeated, and let out a cold laugh. "I just don't want to. Do I need any other reason?"

Seeing Mu Anxiao's resolute side, Feng Sen hesitated and said, "To tell you the truth, I am indeed using you to fill the void in my heart. For some reason, when I see you, I feel like I'm seeing Feng Qishi."

"I knew it," Mu Anxiao said coldly.

Feng Qishi looked at Feng Sen, who had finally spoken the truth, with disappointment and pouted, "After all this time, he's not interested in you."

Mu Anxiao glanced sideways at Feng Qishi and said, "Can we go in now?"

"Yes," Feng Sen nodded, then added, "I hope you'll consider... being friends with me."

"I'm leaving," Mu Anxiao suddenly said.

Feng Sen's eyes darkened.

"I'm leaving this city. After Feng Qishi's funeral, we won't have a chance to meet again, so," Mu Anxiao shook his head, "I can't be friends with you."

"I can..."

"I'll be changing my phone number when I get there. This phone isn't mine," Mu Anxiao interrupted.

Feng Sen was dejected. "I thought you were going to stay here forever. I was thinking maybe in the future we could... have a closer relationship."

"What kind of closer relationship?" Mu Anxiao asked, confused.

Feng Qishi's eyes widened, then he looked down at Mu Anxiao and said, "That's right, that guy is interested in you."

Mu Anxiao ignored Feng Qishi.

Feng Sen smiled faintly. "I mean, if you and I became boyfriend and girlfriend, I..." He hesitated. "I like you."

"Like me?" Mu Anxiao calmly pointed to himself and said, "I don't like you."

"You're too direct," Feng Sen said with an awkward smile.

Mu Anxiao said, "Why didn't you say you liked me when Feng Qishi was alive? Saying it now just means you want to treat me as a substitute for Feng Qishi. I don't want to be your replacement, it's too painful."

"No," Feng Sen said, looking at Mu Anxiao's serious expression, and gave a helpless smile. "The liking I'm talking about is different from what you think. I mean... liking between a man and a woman, not liking between relatives, do you understand?"

"No," Mu Anxiao shook his head.

Feng Sen looked at Mu Anxiao's bewildered expression and lowered his gaze. "Excuse me, have you ever been in a relationship?"

"What's the point of dating?" Mu Anxiao asked.

"You've never dated?" Feng Sen's eyes lit up, and he smiled. "I can't believe it."

"What do you mean by that?" Mu Anxiao pointed at him and asked disdainfully.

Feng Sen shook his head. "Nothing, I'm just happy."

"What are you happy about?"

"I thought you were my brother's girlfriend. Since you have no relationship, I'm relieved," Feng Sen said inexplicably.

Mu Anxiao sighed. "I don't understand what you're saying. Can we go in now?"

"No."

"What do you want now?" Mu Anxiao was impatient.

"I just want to..."

"If you weren't Feng Qishi's brother, I wouldn't even spare you a glance. Your brother just left, and you're already pestering me. You're disgusting," Mu Anxiao interrupted coldly.

Feng Sen's face froze.

Feng Qishi gave Mu Anxiao a thumbs-up. "You said that very well."

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi, then without another word, turned and walked towards his house.

Feng Qishi looked at Feng Sen, who was still standing there, and said, "I never realized you were so needy before." With that, he pouted and turned to follow Mu Anxiao.

Feng Sen thought about Mu Anxiao's words and what he had just said, clenching his fists. "Damn it, why did I say that at this time?" he muttered. He looked up at Mu Anxiao, who had stopped at the security door. "I need to change this impatient habit of mine." With that, he stepped up behind Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Sen, took a step back, and said, "You go."

"Why?" Feng Sen asked deliberately.

Mu Anxiao said helplessly, "I'm the guest, and you're the host. Aren't you supposed to lead me in?"

"Makes sense," Feng Sen smiled and reached out to ring the doorbell.

The next moment, the aunt opened the door and looked at Feng Sen with a heavy heart, saying, "You're back."

"How is my mother?" Feng Sen asked.

The aunt lowered her gaze and said, "Madam is lying on the sofa, crying and crying."

Feng Sen pursed his lips, looked sideways at Mu Anxiao, and said, "Come in."

"Okay," Mu Anxiao nodded and followed Feng Sen inside.

Seeing Mu Anxiao, the aunt said, "Hello."

"Hello," Mu Anxiao nodded slightly.

"Here, change your shoes," the aunt said, taking a pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet and bending down to place them by Mu Anxiao's feet.

"Thank you," Mu Anxiao said as he closed the door.

The aunt said, "You're welcome," and straightened up.

After changing his shoes, Feng Sen looked sideways at Mu Anxiao, who was bending down to take off his shoes, and asked, "Are you ready?"

"Yes," Mu Anxiao replied and stood up.

Feng Qishi looked at the aunt's haggard face and said, "She clearly hasn't rested well."
