Mu Anxiao gave a dry laugh and lowered her head.
Feng Qishi glanced at Yan and Mu Anxiao, saying, "Let's not talk about this now, let's eat."
"Mm," Yan nodded and picked up his chopsticks.
Mu Anxiao bit her lip, picked up her chopsticks, and lowered her head to eat.
Feng Qishi sat down.
At the same time, the vine spirit carried the red-clothed rabbit spirit in and, as before, closed the door with its foot.
"How long is she going to sleep?" Mu Anxiao turned her head to ask the vine spirit.
The vine spirit, carrying the red-clothed rabbit spirit, walked to Mu Anxiao's side and said, "You want her to wake up?"
"Mm," Mu Anxiao nodded.
"I refuse to," the vine spirit said, bending down and placing the red-clothed rabbit spirit on the ground.
Mu Anxiao frowned.
The vine spirit looked down at the food on the table and said, "Aren't you afraid this rabbit will poison you?"
"Are you afraid of rabbits too?" Mu Anxiao asked, looking at the vine spirit with surprise.
The vine spirit awkwardly averted its gaze and said, "As if you're not afraid of rabbits."
"We're not," Mu Anxiao stated firmly.
The vine spirit sneered, "Would you be willing to go talk to the Rabbit Queen?"
"No," Mu Anxiao shook her head.
"Then you're still afraid," the vine spirit said, pointing at Mu Anxiao with a smile.
Mu Anxiao looked at the smile on the vine spirit's face, then at Feng Qishi who remained silent, and said, "Um, Vine Spirit, please be clear about your position. You escaped from below, and now, many eyes are watching you. Aren't you afraid of appearing before me so ostentatiously?" She paused deliberately and pointed at Feng Qishi, "He'll catch you."
Hearing this, Feng Qishi looked up at Mu Anxiao.
The vine spirit glanced at Feng Qishi and said, "Although he is using Shen Yan's body, this is merely a shell. I am not afraid."
"Not afraid," Feng Qishi uttered two words, looking up and glaring at the vine spirit, "Then fine, I command you now to remove the sorcery you cast on Mu Anxiao."
"On what basis do you command me?" the vine spirit asked, pointing at itself.
"If you don't listen to me, don't regret it," Feng Qishi said, widening his eyes deliberately.
The vine spirit curled its lips and said, "Fine, I agree, but on the condition that you help me."
"Help you with what, tell me," Feng Qishi pretended to be oblivious.
The vine spirit glanced at Mu Anxiao, moved to Feng Qishi's side, and said, "I want the Rabbit Queen's demon soul."
"Half each," Feng Qishi said, raising his chopsticks.
"You want it too?" the vine spirit exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, with half of her demon soul, I can improve my immortal arts. This is my mission," Feng Qishi said, once again locking eyes with the vine spirit.
The vine spirit hesitated for a moment and said, "Alright, she's powerful anyway." Saying this, it moved back to Mu Anxiao's side, raised its hand, and struck the top of Mu Anxiao's head forcefully. Immediately, streams of black light emanated from the top of her head.
"There," Feng Qishi said, looking at the black light.
The vine spirit took a deep breath, withdrew its hand, and said, "Done. If you don't believe me, you can sense her immortal energy."
Feng Qishi shook his head, "No need. I'll trust you this once."
"I trust you too," the vine spirit said with a smile.
Mu Anxiao asked, "With me like this, won't those monsters stop targeting me?"
Hearing this, the vine spirit looked down at Mu Anxiao and said, "Of course, they will. What are you thinking?"
"No, then you still haven't..."
"You already had immortal energy. It's just that I amplified your immortal energy before. Now, only some monsters can sense you; others will need time," the vine spirit explained patiently.
Mu Anxiao had never expected the vine spirit to explain things so calmly. Looking at the vine spirit's face now, she suddenly thought it was quite decent. But then, considering the evil deeds it had committed, she quickly shook her head to dismiss the thought and asked, "Why did you specifically target the Rabbit Queen?"
"Because she has what I need, just like I need the wolf demon," the vine spirit said.
"Wolf demon," Mu Anxiao repeated, her eyes widening, "Hey, since we came back, we haven't seen the wolf demon. Where did he go?"
"Don't know," Feng Qishi shook his head.
Mu Anxiao frowned, and looked at the vine spirit again, asking, "Did you see him?"
"I was with you, how could I have seen him?" the vine spirit said.
"Can you sense him then?" Mu Anxiao asked.
The vine spirit smiled, "No."
"No," Mu Anxiao repeated, looking at the vine spirit's face with distaste, "If you can't, you can't, why are you smiling?"
"I like it," the vine spirit continued to smile.
Mu Anxiao was speechless and lowered her head to continue eating.
Feng Qishi finished his last bite of food and pointed at the red-clothed rabbit spirit lying on the ground, "Vine Spirit, let her wake up to eat. The food will get cold soon."
"The carrots she eats are already cold. No," the vine spirit raised an eyebrow, "Are you concerned about her?"
Feng Qishi looked calmly at the somewhat erratic vine spirit, took a deep breath, and pointed his finger towards the red-clothed rabbit spirit. Following that, a blue light instantly entered the red-clothed rabbit spirit's body. The blue light circled within her body a few times, and then she woke up.
"How did you do that?" Mu Anxiao asked, looking at Feng Qishi in surprise.
Feng Qishi said, "It's a secret."
Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao pouted, "You and your mysteries." Saying this, she looked down at the red-clothed rabbit spirit who had sat up and asked, "How do you feel?"
The red-clothed rabbit spirit swallowed with a dry throat and said, "I'm fine." Saying this, she pushed herself up from the ground.
The vine spirit stood behind her and said, "Feng Qishi, I really didn't expect you to use Shen Yan's magic."
Feng Qishi smiled, "Were you surprised?"
"No, just a little astonished," the vine spirit said calmly.
Feng Qishi snorted and said, "Go back and think of a countermeasure before you come to me again, what do you say?"
"Alright," the vine spirit readily agreed, patted the red-clothed rabbit spirit's shoulder, and said, "You'd better not let me discover you have any contact with your Rabbit Queen, or I'll kill you."
Hearing this, the red-clothed rabbit spirit stiffened, and without daring to turn her head, said, "I wouldn't dare."
The vine spirit let out a smug smile, turned around, and disappeared.
Mu Anxiao calmly watched the gradually dispersing light and casually said, "Childish."
The red-clothed rabbit spirit breathed a sigh of relief.
Feng Qishi said, "Alright, you can eat with peace of mind now."
"Yes," the red-clothed rabbit spirit responded, stepped forward, and sat next to Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao turned her head to look at the red-clothed rabbit spirit and asked, "Did you make this?"
The red-clothed rabbit spirit hummed and picked up a carrot slice with her bare hands to eat.
Mu Anxiao continued to stare at the side profile of the red-clothed rabbit spirit and said, "How can you make human food? I thought you couldn't."
