Chapter 274 Acknowledged as a Goddaughter

"That girl, she really makes me so angry. I told her, girls shouldn't be so frivolous, but she actually went after someone else. That's not even the worst part, she chased after her own friend's boyfriend. It's too much," Madam Feng said angrily, looking up at the girl. "What's your name, child?"

"My name is Yan Ruoruo," the girl introduced herself simply.

"Ruoruo, why don't you and your sister come home with Auntie later," Madam Feng said lightly.

"Ah?" Yan Ruoruo feigned surprise, glancing at Shi Momo beside her. "Auntie, I'm not friends with Feng Feng anymore. If I go, won't it be awkward?"

"She stole your boyfriend first. Come home with Auntie later, and you'll see how Auntie teaches her a lesson."

"Alright," Yan Ruoruo nodded.

Shi Momo smiled, "Saying it like that, we really are getting closer."

"If only Feng Feng had half the good qualities of you two sisters," Madam Feng sighed.

"You can consider me your goddaughter," Shi Momo offered.

Xu Ruoruo glanced at Shi Momo and also said, "Yes, Auntie, I think we have a special connection. I don't know why, but I think you're much prettier than my own mother."

"Such sweet talk," Madam Feng chuckled, covering her mouth with her hand. She pointed to the chairs, "Come, sit down, my two goddaughters. Auntie will treat you to some food."

"Thank you, Auntie," Yan Ruoruo smiled.

At Feng Qishi's home, Feng Feng leaned against the door, looking at Feng Qishi, who was sitting by the bed staring at her, in disbelief. "Brother, do you think she told on me?"

"That," Feng Qishi stood up, a smile playing on his lips, "I don't know."

"You say," Feng Feng took two steps forward, "she wouldn't tell Mom that I watched movies all night, would she?"

"Watching movies all night," Feng Qishi crossed his arms and chuckled, "Sister, are you silly? Staying up all night watching movies is nothing."

"That's good then," Feng Feng was relieved. She peeked at Mu Anxiao, who was lying flat on the bed. "Mom will be angry when she sees her later."

"Who cares," Feng Qishi shrugged.

Feng Feng pouted and walked to the table, picking up the first-aid kit. "Move aside."

"What are you doing?"

"Look, her hand is bleeding," Feng Feng said, carrying the first-aid kit to the bedside and beginning to bandage Mu Anxiao's wound.

"I didn't even notice she had any external injuries," Feng Qishi said, looking at Mu Anxiao's sleeping face from the side.

"Someone as careless and academically obsessed as you, what could you possibly notice," Feng Feng said as she bandaged Mu Anxiao's wound.

"Alright, you're the best," Feng Qishi shrugged and stepped back to sit on the sofa.

After Feng Feng quickly finished bandaging Mu Anxiao's wound, she pulled the blanket over her. "Mom is capable of anything. You'd better be careful."

"Is she alright?"

"Her pulse is normal, she should be fine," Feng Feng said, looking at Mu Anxiao. "However, if she doesn't wake up in an hour, you should take her to the hospital."

Feng Qishi remembered Mu Anxiao's instructions and glanced at Feng Feng. "No need."

"I think it's necessary," Feng Feng insisted.

Feng Qishi understood Feng Feng's cautious nature and casually agreed, "Okay, I'll listen to you. If she's still like this in an hour, I'll take her to the hospital."

"Good," Feng Feng nodded, stood up from the bedside, and asked, "How did she get beaten like this by... that person?"
