Chapter 258 The Food Delivery Person

“Did you hear that?” Feng Qishi suddenly said.

Mu Anxiao was stunned and looked at the phone in her hand. “I heard it,” she replied.

“I’ll call you in a moment, and you answer it like this.”

“How do I hang up?” Mu Anxiao asked, confused.

“I’ll hang up,” Feng Qishi said, ending the call.

Mu Anxiao held her phone away and said, “It’s still on.” As she spoke, her hand coincidentally touched the button, and the phone went dark.

Feng Qishi smiled. “Didn’t it just turn off?”

“I know,” Mu Anxiao nodded.

“If you know, then go,” Feng Qishi waved her hand.

Mu Anxiao put the phone in her pocket and turned away without another word.

Yan Shan watched Mu Anxiao’s retreating back and stepped forward to take the phone Feng Qishi handed him. “Shouldn’t her family be using phones by now?”

“Who knows,” Feng Qishi shrugged and turned to sit on a chair outside the shop.

Yan Shan didn’t speculate further and walked over to sit beside Feng Qishi.

A few minutes later… Feng Feng, struggling to carry a bag full of milk tea, stopped at the elevator entrance to catch her breath. She looked up and saw Mu Anxiao, who was passing by, and called out, “Hey, beautiful.”

Mu Anxiao thought “Beautiful” was a name and ignored her.

Feng Feng, bent over and watching Mu Anxiao walk away, hurriedly called out, “Miss, a little help.”

Hearing this, Mu Anxiao stopped and turned to look at the exhausted Feng Feng. “Are you calling me?”

“Yes,” Feng Feng nodded.

Mu Anxiao glanced at the bag in Feng Feng’s hand and walked towards her, asking, “You want me to help you carry these?”

“Yeah, I can’t carry them anymore,” Feng Feng said, swallowing.

“If you can’t carry them, why buy so much? Aren’t you full eating all this?” Mu Anxiao said coldly, taking all the bags from Feng Feng’s hands.

Seeing Mu Anxiao’s bluntness, Feng Feng felt a bit embarrassed. “Just help me carry one.”

However, Mu Anxiao didn’t seem to hear Feng Feng and asked, “Where to?”

Feng Feng retracted her hand, which Mu Anxiao had ignored, and pointed towards the cinema. “Over there.”

“Lead the way,” Mu Anxiao uttered coldly.

“Okay,” Feng Feng agreed and walked around to the front of Mu Anxiao to lead.

As Mu Anxiao followed her, several people outside the cinema had already grown impatient.

“That’s strange, why isn’t she here yet?” the second girl asked impatiently.

“Buying milk tea takes time to queue, just wait,” the girl said with a fawning smile, taking out her phone and quickly dialing Feng Feng’s number.

Feng Feng reached for her pocket and quickened her pace.

Mu Anxiao sighed and also quickened her steps to keep up with her.

In an instant, they arrived. The boys and girls looked at Feng Feng with expressions of impatience, as if they had been waiting for a long time. The girl, afraid of offending them, stepped forward to Feng Feng and said in a blaming tone, “Why are you so slow?”

“I…”

Mu Anxiao saw Feng Feng’s wronged expression and then looked at the impolite group. “What are you all standing around for? Come and get what belongs to you.”

Hearing this, the girl recognized Mu Anxiao. “It’s you.”

“I don’t know you,” Mu Anxiao recalled the events here but couldn’t remember their faces.

“So you’re just a delivery person,” the girl scoffed.

“Delivery person,” Mu Anxiao repeated, glancing at the wronged Feng Feng beside her. “Since you say I’m a delivery person, then fine, pay me. I went through a lot of trouble to pick these up.”
