Chapter 297 Leaving Home

The aunt lowered her head, not daring to say a word when she saw Feng Qishi coming down.

Feng Qishi paid no mind to the aunt's evasion and said, "Auntie, please keep an eye on Feng Feng. Call me if anything comes up. You don't need to leave the door open for me."

Upstairs, Mother Feng heard the voices from downstairs and quickly turned to shout, "If you're going out, don't bother coming back!"

Feng Qishi completely ignored Mother Feng. As she walked towards the entryway, Feng Yan happened to open the door and walk in. "Feng Qishi, where are you going?"

Feng Qishi didn't reply. She pulled Feng Yan along and ran out into the rain.

Feng Yan was stunned and turned, shouting, "You come back here!"

Feng Qishi couldn't spare him a glance and ran wildly in the rain.

Feng Yan immediately picked up an umbrella from the shoe cabinet, turned, and rushed out after her.

Mother Feng ran down the stairs and looked at the aunt, who was standing blankly in place. "Where is Feng Qishi?"

"She left, but the eldest young master has already gone after her," the aunt replied, no longer having the courage to mention their names.

Feng Sen, ignoring everything else, sat in front of the coffee table, eating fruit with a small fork. "Mom, this fruit is quite sweet. Come and try some."

Mother Feng's brows furrowed. She looked at Feng Sen and said, "Go and check on your sister."

"She and Feng Qishi have a close relationship. That's why they were able to make up so easily," Feng Sen said, taking another bite of an apple. "If I go, I'll just be asking for trouble. I'm not going."

The aunt cautiously glanced at Mother Feng and busied herself with her chores.

Mother Feng stood in place, glaring angrily at the bloodstains on the floor, and shouted, "Wipe this up."

"Yes," the aunt replied quickly and ran into the bathroom to get a mop.

Mother Feng looked at the mop the aunt was holding and said angrily, "Use paper to clean it. Don't let that country bumpkin's blood stain the mop."

"Okay," the aunt nodded and returned to the bathroom.

Feng Sen, holding the small fork, turned to look at Mother Feng. He grinned and said, "I really didn't expect you to be so formidable. I always thought you were a lady of refinement, but I never imagined you were so fierce."

"It's all for you, you brat. To be beaten by a girl, you truly have some talent," Mother Feng said. She walked over to Feng Sen and sat on the sofa, looking at his face. "That girl didn't hold back either."

"Her shoulder throw was so clean and efficient. That slap wasn't too hard either. As for my nose, it started bleeding because I accidentally moved it. But, it's not," Feng Sen leaned forward and glanced at the bloodstains by the stairs, "not as bad as hers."

"Regardless, she still hit you," Mother Feng said, reaching out to gently touch Feng Sen's nose.

"Mom, this is the first time in my life I've ever been hit by a girl," Feng Sen said casually.

"Alright, eat your fruit," Mother Feng pointed at the fruit bowl.

Feng Sen nodded. "Okay, I won't save any for you then." As he spoke, he stared intently at the television, eating and muttering, "Feng Qishi really knows how to pick a master. Why does this kind of thing never happen to me?"

Mother Feng glanced at Feng Sen, who was deliberately muttering. She stood up without a word, looked up at the floor above, and thought, Forget it, that girl is probably fine.

At this moment, Feng Yan had caught up with Feng Qishi at the fastest possible speed.

"Feng Qishi, stop right there."

Hearing this, Feng Qishi stopped, a hint of helplessness in her voice. She turned around, catching her breath, and looked at Feng Yan, who wasn't bothering to hold his umbrella. "What are you doing?"

"Didn't you see that Mom is already very angry with you?"
