"Old Chen, what's wrong?" Father Feng asked excitedly.
"I want to find you, can you send me your location?"
"Sure, I can." Father Feng readily agreed and hung up the phone.
Uncle Chen took his phone, quickly received the location, and said, "Done." He opened the location, glanced at it, and as a taxi happened to drive by, he quickly stepped forward to wave it down.
And so, Mu Anxiao once again found herself in what she considered a rickety carriage.
"How long will it take to get there?" Mu Anxiao asked Uncle Chen, glancing at him.
Uncle Chen closed the door and said, "About ten minutes." He then told the driver the destination.
In the private room, Feng Qishi, heeding his mother's words, sat next to the sister who was four years older than him.
"Qishi, I heard you're doing very well in your studies," the four-years-older sister said.
Feng Qishi smiled politely and replied, "Uh, my studies are okay, but I can't say they're very good."
"Son, we heard you're first in your class. You don't need to be so modest about it," Father Feng said with a smile from across the table.
Feng Qishi glanced at his father awkwardly and took a sip of his drink.
"My name is Shi Momo. I'm almost graduating from university. Once you start university, let's get married," Shi Momo suddenly said.
Feng Qishi was so startled that he choked.
"Cough, cough, cough."
"Qishi, are you alright?" Shi Momo quickly took the cup from Feng Qishi's hand and asked.
"Tissue, tissue, cough, cough," Feng Qishi said, reaching out his hand while coughing.
Shi Momo, however, made no move to get him tissue. Instead, she took his hand and said, "Qishi, I think we get along really well."
The parents nearby had heard Feng Qishi's words, but due to the young lady's overwhelming enthusiasm, they pretended not to notice and continued toasting each other.
Feng Qishi lowered his head and coughed painfully, then fumbled in his pocket for a pack of tissues.
The next second, Shi Momo snatched the pack of tissues, saying, "You need tissue? Why didn't you say so sooner, honestly, this younger brother." She then pulled out a tissue and handed it to Feng Qishi.
Feng Qishi took the tissue and wiped his mouth, saying, "Can you please stop holding me?"
"Oh, you don't like it?" Shi Momo asked, her tone disappointed.
"I don't like it," Feng Qishi replied coldly, uttering three words.
Instantly, Feng Qishi's mother became displeased.
"Qishi, that's very impolite," his mother said angrily.
Feng Qishi frowned, picked up his chopsticks, and was about to eat when Shi Momo became upset, "Qishi, don't you like me?"
Hearing this, Feng Qishi stopped what he was doing, turned to look at Shi Momo, and said, "I'm here to eat, not to be set up on a date. Besides, I'm in my teenage years, and I can't control many of my emotions. Please bear with me."
The moment Feng Qishi explained himself, Shi Momo was no longer upset. "Qishi, you must be under a lot of pressure normally."
"It's alright," Feng Qishi said, glancing cautiously at his mother.
Seeing that Shi Momo was no longer angry, Feng Qishi's mother looked at Shi Momo's parents with relief and smiled, "My son has a bad temper, but I'm sure he'll improve once he's with Momo."
"I think Qishi is quite good," said Shi Momo's mother, staring at Feng Qishi with admiration.
Feng Qishi couldn't help but avert his gaze.
Shi Momo smiled, "As long as you're willing to explain yourself, I think you're a good person." With that, she leaned her head onto Feng Qishi's arm.
Instantly, Feng Qishi felt goosebumps all over.
"Um," he said, looking at Shi Momo uncomfortably, "with you like this, I can't eat."
