Feng Mu opened the text message and squinted at the photo of Yan Ruoruo and the young man, her brow furrowed.
"What's wrong?" Auntie asked as she poured water for Feng Mu.
"Come here, see if this girl is Yan Ruoruo?" Feng Mu stared blankly at the photo, beckoning Auntie over.
Auntie put down the kettle, stepped forward, and leaned in to look at the photo on the phone. "This is the Yan Ruoruo you mentioned. Who is this young man?"
"Nobody," Feng Mu said, putting down the phone and staring blankly at the television, thinking about her recent attitude towards Feng Feng and Feng Feng's recent state. She felt a pang of guilt.
Seeing Feng Mu's expression, Auntie said nothing more, straightened up, picked up the kettle, and busied herself.
Outside the mall, Feng Qishi looked at Mu Anxiao with a sense of relief and smiled.
"You've managed to ruin my plans," Mu Anxiao said calmly, turning and walking into the mall.
Zhang Yan glanced at Mu Anxiao's retreating back, then reached out to block Feng Qishi. "I think her judgment is flawed."
"Huh?" Feng Qishi was taken aback for a moment, then looked at Mu Anxiao's back and asked in a low voice, "What do you mean?"
"I secretly went to see Shi Momo a few days ago, but Shi Momo doesn't have the soul aura of the second evil spirit on her. Instead, I feel something is wrong with your sister. However, if I tell Mu Anxiao at this juncture, she probably won't believe me," Zhang Yan whispered.
Feng Qishi was relatively calm. "I knew her judgment was flawed."
"What are you going to do then?" Zhang Yan asked.
Feng Qishi casually pushed Zhang Yan's arm away. "I have a plan, but don't say anything later."
"No problem," Zhang Yan agreed and followed Feng Qishi to catch up with Mu Anxiao.
Soon, they arrived outside the cinema. Yan Ruoruo stood at the counter with an unhappy expression, holding her wallet. "How could you be so careless?"
"What could I do? I'll pay you back next time, okay?" the young man said with a grin.
"It's not that I care about the money, it's just that my sister said that when you go out on a date, the man should pay. What's the point of the woman paying?"
"Yes, yes, you're right. But I lost my wallet. Fortunately, my ID wasn't in it, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to accompany you." The young man tugged at Yan Ruoruo's arm.
"I forgive you," Yan Ruoruo said, diligently buying movie tickets.
Mu Anxiao narrowed her eyes. Just as she was about to step forward, Feng Qishi pulled her back.
"What are you doing?" she whispered.
Feng Qishi rolled her eyes. "You really don't know strategy. If you go straight like this, you won't be able to break them up. You need to make Yan Ruoruo see the man for who he is, so she'll give up on her own. Otherwise, if you break them up directly, it will only anger her, and the opposite effect would be bad."
Mu Anxiao was silent for a moment. "You have a point." She then shook off Feng Qishi's hand. "Then tell me, what should we do?"
Feng Qishi glanced at Zhang Yan beside her. "Brother, go see what movie they're buying tickets for, and the time and seats. We need to get close to them."
"Okay," Zhang Yan agreed and quickly walked towards Yan Ruoruo.
"Why aren't you talking to me?" Mu Anxiao asked impatiently.
"We'll follow them in later, and then you'll listen to me."
"Would you be so kind?" Mu Anxiao asked skeptically, narrowing her eyes.
"Even though you forgot about my business, I'm not the type to hold grudges. Just listen to me later," Feng Qishi raised an eyebrow.
Mu Anxiao hesitated for a moment, then agreed.
At the same time, Zhang Yan rushed over, saying anxiously, "It's starting soon. From what I observed, there aren't many people."
"Okay, I'll buy the tickets," Feng Qishi said, smiling at Mu Anxiao as she quickly ran to the counter.
Mu Anxiao followed.
"It's my first time not buying tickets to go into a movie theater, and it feels pretty good," Zhang Yan said as he walked beside Mu Anxiao.
"What movie is it?" Mu Anxiao asked quietly.
"That ghost movie from the other night was a movie," Zhang Yan explained casually.
Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao stopped abruptly. "I'm not watching anymore."
Zhang Yan was taken aback, stopped, turned, and smiled at Mu Anxiao. "They aren't watching a ghost movie. They're watching a romance movie, don't worry."
Mu Anxiao thought for a moment, then stepped forward and asked, "What is a romance movie?"
"You'll know when you go in and watch," Zhang Yan said mysteriously.
Mu Anxiao said nothing. Feng Qishi bought the tickets, turned around, and came to Mu Anxiao's side. "Let's get something to eat."
"I'm not in the mood," Mu Anxiao replied casually.
"Alright then, I'll eat," Feng Qishi said, turning to the concession stand with the tickets.
Mu Anxiao watched Feng Qishi's retreating back and curled her lips. "All you do is eat."
"It's like you don't eat," Zhang Yan muttered.
Mu Anxiao glanced at him and said nothing.
Feng Qishi returned with a large bucket of popcorn and two cups of cola, handing one of the colas to Mu Anxiao. "Drink this."
"I'm not eating anything," Mu Anxiao refused.
"You said you weren't eating, but you didn't say you weren't drinking," Feng Qishi said, still holding out the cola.
"No," Mu Anxiao swallowed. She looked at the cola cup Feng Qishi was holding out. "You didn't even ask if I wanted to drink it?"
"Do you want to drink it?" Feng Qishi's expression suddenly turned cold.
Looking at Feng Qishi's expression, Mu Anxiao was reminded of his appearance in her past life. With a sigh of resignation, she reached out and took the cola. "I'll drink it."
"That's more like it," Feng Qishi grinned.
Mu Anxiao glanced away. She said nothing.
Entering the screening room, Mu Anxiao asked, "Where are we going?"
"Just follow me."
Mu Anxiao looked at the nearly pitch-black surroundings and suddenly remembered Shen Yan's eyes in her past life. She blurted out, "Um, don't you have night blindness?"
Feng Qishi stopped and turned, looking at Mu Anxiao with a sliver of light. "I eat carrots. Besides, you're strange too. I found you that night, and now you're asking me if I have night blindness? Your question is really speechless."
"I was just asking casually, you don't need to take it seriously." Mu Anxiao nudged Feng Qishi's arm.
"I was just saying it casually," Feng Qishi said, turning to continue searching for their seat numbers.
Mu Anxiao tutted, raised her hand, and patted her mouth, muttering to herself, "I'm so stupid for asking him that question."
After finding their seats, Feng Qishi beckoned to Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao sighed and quickly walked over and sat down next to Feng Qishi.
Feng Qishi's lips curved upwards. He bent down, snatched Mu Anxiao's cola cup, and placed it in the cup holder on the armrest. Then, he took off his backpack from behind and threw it into Mu Anxiao's lap. "Hold this tight."
