Chapter 64 The Owner of the Booklet

"You're talking about my mother?" the man in white changed his expression, pointing at himself.

Mu Anxiao gave a foolish smile, "You asked me to. This is my impression of you. Of course, before you came out of the rattan spirit's body, I thought you were called Xiao Lü."

"Xiao Lü?" the man in white looked perplexed.

"Your face is green, so why call you Xiao Lü? Why not… Xiao Hei," Mu Anxiao didn't care how the man in white felt hearing her words. She felt satisfied as long as she could speak her mind.

"You, you are truly an idiot," the man in white sighed at length.

"Are you… cursing me?" Mu Anxiao retracted the mockery from her face and asked.

The man in white forced a smile, "Whatever you think it is, let it be. Let's hurry…"

"Wait," Mu Anxiao shouted, her eyes fixed on the past Shen Yan dressed in blue ahead. She smiled, "I'll go talk to him."

"You don't have to rush," the man in white said, looking down at Mu Anxiao who was preparing to step forward.

Mu Anxiao tilted her head, "Wait, I'll be back soon. You just wait here, don't come over."

"Alright…" the man in white reluctantly agreed.

Mu Anxiao curled her lips and ran towards Shen Yan. At the same time, the future Shen Yan appeared on the rooftop, "Mu Anxiao, what is that guy doing?" As he spoke, he looked at himself and his eyes widened, "Strange, why am I here?"

The moment he said this, Mu Anxiao had already stopped in front of the past Shen Yan. "Hello," she waved.

The past Shen Yan looked around and frowned, looking at Mu Anxiao, "Are you calling me?"

"Yes, you are Shen Yan here, right?" Mu Anxiao asked, looking at the past Shen Yan with curiosity.

"Huh?" the past Shen Yan looked utterly confused.

The future Shen Yan glanced at Mu Anxiao, who was chatting with his past self, and sighed. With a flick of his finger, he appeared in front of the man in white, "What did you say to that guy?"

The man in white was not startled by Shen Yan. He forced a smile and said, "I told you that you created that booklet, and then your past self appeared. She… she went off." He then lowered his head.

"You said I created that booklet?" Shen Yan asked pointedly.

"You truly have forgotten," the man in white said, looking up at Shen Yan.

Shen Yan's eyes darted, and he quickly turned to look in the direction Mu Anxiao had gone. "I still have forgotten memories. What is going on?" he said, then glanced at the man in white, "Stay here and don't move."

"Okay," the man in white agreed.

Shen Yan stepped forward, heading that way.

The man in white watched Shen Yan's departing figure with a bewildered look, raising his eyebrows slightly. He stepped back and leaned against a tree.

Over there, Mu Anxiao began to speak to the past Shen Yan with utmost seriousness.

"I know you don't recognize me, but I recognize you. You will recognize me a long, long time from now. When that time comes, remember," she smiled foolishly, "treat me well. Otherwise, I won't help you find your companion…" Halfway through her sentence, Mu Anxiao suddenly felt that something was amiss.

"What are you talking about?" the past Shen Yan asked coldly.

Mu Anxiao looked up at the past Shen Yan's indifferent expression. Considering his immortal cultivation status and the years involved, her head began to ache.

"What are you doing?"

Hearing this, Mu Anxiao turned her head to look at Shen Yan, who was standing invisibly beside her. She then looked at the past Shen Yan, who was staring at her coldly, and said, "This isn't right. Are you a human or a monster?"
