“It seems Xiao Jianren values you greatly, even making Director Su guard the door just to keep you here,” Shen Lu said with a smile.
“Xiao Jianren does value me, that’s true! But this guy isn’t really trying to teach Director Su a lesson; he’s just putting on a show to keep me around,” Jiang Yi replied with a slight smile.
Hearing this, Shen Lu furrowed her delicate brows.
“It appears Director Su and Xiao Jianren have an unusual relationship!” Shen Lu stated. “If we want to deal with Director Su, we must find evidence of him embezzling public funds. Once Director Su’s matter is exposed, no matter how good his relationship with Xiao Jianren is, Xiao Jianren won’t spare him.”
“My purpose in coming to Fugui Hospital is not to deal with anyone. As long as Director Su doesn’t stir up trouble, I’ll spare his miserable life,” Jiang Yi said.

Shen Lu knew why Jiang Yi had come to Fugui Hospital.

“Director Su, how dare you talk to me about despicable behavior?” Jiang Yi said with a cold laugh. “Since I arrived at Fugui Hospital, I have never provoked you. Yet, you have repeatedly caused me trouble. Now, these nurses are causing you trouble because you’ve troubled them in the past. It has nothing to do with me. Director Su’s face darkened again. Jiang Yi’s words were correct; Director Su had been causing him trouble ever since he joined the hospital. Director Su’s current predicament was his own doing.
“No matter what, I will not let you go!” Director Su said, his face filled with murderous intent.
“Then I’d like to see what capabilities you still possess!” Jiang Yi raised his eyebrows. “You are bent on seeking death, so I will grant you your wish!” With that, Jiang Yi turned and entered the hospital building.
Director Su’s gaze towards Jiang Yi was filled with endless killing intent, as if he wished to kill Jiang Yi with his eyes alone.
Jiang Yi did not go to his office but instead sat down on a sofa in the lobby. He had delegated most of his work to Shen Lu. Although Jiang Yi held no real power, he had plenty of tasks to attend to.
