Chapter 593: Chapter 593 Kitty Chapter 593: Chapter 593 Kitty Just as she finished all this, Chuner came over, “Sister, what are you doing? Why is it taking so long?”
Xuexue turned around, smiling nonchalantly, “Sister picked up a newborn kitten.”
Chuner’s eyes lit up, and she looked around excitedly, “A kitten! Where is it? Where is it?”
Thinking that Little Tiger had just been born and wasn’t dangerous, Xuexue put down the basket behind her, pointed at the bald Little Tiger inside, and said, “Look, Chuner, it’s right here!”
“Oh wow! Sister, this kitten is so cute, but why doesn’t it have any fur?” Chuner was very curious.
“Who knows, probably it was born premature, so it doesn’t have fur yet. It should be fine after a while, once it grows a bit, the fur will naturally grow.”
Chuner reached out and touched it.
Little Tiger stuck out its tongue and vigorously licked her hand, tickling Chuner into laughter, “Hee hee hee…! It’s so ticklish!”
Xuexue felt a bit guilty, thankfully, Little Tiger was still small; if it had been bigger, Chuner’s hand would have been gone!
“This kitten is so cute. Let’s take it home and raise it,” Chuner said as she played with Little Tiger and turned to Xuexue.
Seeing how much Chuner liked it, Xuexue nodded, thinking to herself, since Little Tiger was still small and harmless, they might as well keep it, and deal with it when it grew bigger.
“That’s great.” Chuner held Little Tiger, reluctant to put it down.
“Chuner, Little Tiger was just born, he is too small; don’t hurt him, quickly put him in the basket,” Xuexue said.
“Okay.” Chuner, somewhat reluctantly, while watching Little Tiger wriggle around in her arms, said, “Sister, he seems hungry. Let’s give him some dry food to eat.”
Little Tiger kept calling out softly, obviously hungry.
“Alright then.”
The two of them sat down on the rock again.
Xuexue took out a bun from the basket and handed it to Chuner, “Break it up and feed it to him.”
“Okay.”
Chuner crumbled the bun with her hands and held it in her palm for Little Tiger to lick.
“Squish, squish.”
The tiger licked it eagerly, and instantly stopped making noise; clearly, it was famished. Who knew how long the mother tiger had been dead to leave him in such a state.
Soon, Little Tiger was full, half-closing his eyes and squatting sleepily, looking utterly adorable.
Chuner put him into the basket, “Kitty, you sleep here, we’ll take you home in a while!”
Little Tiger, half understanding, opened his half-closed eyes, glanced at her, then closed his eyes and fell asleep.
“Chuner, let’s go. We’ve spent quite a bit of time here,” Xuexue said, putting on the basket and turning to Chuner.
“Yeah!”
Thinking they had found a kitten, Chuner was extremely happy, even forgetting the pain in her feet. She was energized, walking briskly.
They walked another few dozen meters.
“Swoosh!”
A wild chicken flew past them.
Xuexue, quick reflexes, leaped forward and grabbed its leg, pulling it down from mid-air.
“Cluck cluck cluck…!” The wild chicken flapped its wings, struggling desperately in Xuexue’s hand.
Chuner’s mouth hung open in awe, “Wow! Sister, you’re so amazing! You can even fly up like that, as capable as Big Bull Brother.”
Xuexue found a piece of rope on the ground and tied the wild chicken’s legs together, then threw it into the basket.
