Chapter 380: Chapter 318: First Sun: 1
Song Chi had to rush back to the film crew at noon, as there were scenes to be shot in the afternoon.
After coming down the mountain, Zhou Yun and him had some noodles at a restaurant at the foot of the mountain before driving back to the hotel.
Just as they arrived at the parking lot, Zhou Lan’s phone started ringing.
Zhou Yun answered the call, asking, "Sister Lan, are you looking for me?"
"Where are you?" Zhou Lan asked.
"I’m in the parking lot. I just went out with Song Chi," Zhou Yun said.
"There’s been a new development regarding the matter with Yu Zhiyang. I’ll come to your room in ten minutes," Zhou Lan said.
Zhou Yun agreed.
She then hung up the phone.
Song Chi had already turned off the engine, turning his head to ask, "Sister Lan was looking for you?"
"Yeah, she said there’s been a new development with Yu Zhiyang," Zhou Yun said, "Let’s go."
Song Chi got out of the car along with Zhou Yun.
He also needed to go back to the hotel to change clothes.
After climbing the mountain, both of them were drenched in sweat.
Suddenly, a figure sprang out in front, holding a handheld recorder, thrusting it directly in front of them.
Another figure closely followed, holding a camera, snapping away at them.
Zhou Yun was startled, unable to react, and subconsciously raised her hand to cover her face.
Song Chi stepped in front of her, frowning at the intrusion.
"Song Chi, Zhou Yun, when did you two start dating? You claimed before that you were just friends, not in a relationship. Were you hiding something?" a petite and exquisite girl held up the handheld recorder, her voice loudly probing them.
Zhou Yun then realized, these were entertainment journalists.
She turned her head in confusion and saw the cunning gleam in the small, dainty girl’s eyes.
Clearly, she had found out about their new residence from somewhere, laid in wait here, and had been waiting for their appearance.
She had caught the first collective appearance of Song Chi and Zhou Yun holding hands.
This was exclusive news!
Song Chi’s face immediately darkened, as he wrapped his arm around Zhou Yun’s waist, ignoring their questions, and whispered in Zhou Yun’s ear, "Let’s go up."
Zhou Yun nodded.
The female journalist and the cameraman followed closely behind them.
"Could you please answer? Why have you never admitted to the relationship before? Don’t you want the fans to know?" the questions persisted.
Song Chi kept a cold face, holding Zhou Yun without slowing down, walking forward.
The cameraman, with his camera, captured this segment of their retreat.
"Don’t you have anything to explain or answer to your fans?" the questions grew sharper.
Zhou Yun heard all of this, anger rising in her heart, wanting to speak, but rationality still helped her restrain herself.
Perhaps because the two of them remained silent, the journalist, fearing to miss this precious opportunity, actually blocked their way, preventing them from proceeding.
"Everyone is very concerned about the two of you, can you give a response please?" the tone of the female journalist became sharp and frustrated.
Before this, her tone remained sweet even though the questions were sharp.
The female journalist stood in front, but Song Chi wrapped his arm around Zhou Yun and directly bypassed her.
Zhou Yun could tell, Song Chi’s face was getting darker. Dealing with such situations, Song Chi was more experienced than Zhou Yun, but human beings are emotional, and experience doesn’t make them less upset when they encounter annoying things. To a certain extent, a person with a quick temper is more likely to become irate from things that would aggravate their mood.
Song Chi wasn’t someone with a particularly good temper, someone who could completely control himself. He simply knew that at such times, it was best to not say a word and shake off these people, for his and Zhou Yun’s sake.
At that moment, the female journalist, for some reason, suddenly grabbed Zhou Yun’s arm, refusing to let her go.
"Are you feeling guilty? You’ve hidden your relationship from everyone for so long. Don’t you feel you owe your fans an explanation? So many fans support you, yet you lied to them. Is that what you should be doing as public figures?" The journalist’s questions came forth like rapid-fire.
Zhou Yun didn’t expect this person to actually make a move.
She struggled a few times, attempting to pull her hand from the grasp.
But the female journalist’s hand was like a vice, tightly clutching her wrist.
Zhou Yun’s face was full of rage as she hissed, "Let go!"
Only then did Song Chi notice, and he directly grabbed the journalist’s hand, pulling it off forcefully.
