Chapter 4 The New Madam is Too Cruel

Feng Jin frowned. She had always disliked being interrupted during a diagnosis, and the arrival clearly violated her taboo.

"You, a concubine brought in for good luck, dare to bully my sister?"

A young man, wielding a sharp sword, barged in furiously. His delicate features were etched with anger, giving the impression that he was ready to kill.

The newcomer was the youngest son of Second Master Ling, Ling Muzhu, the full younger brother of Ling Yan.

"Young Master, you cannot go in. Madam..."

The attendant followed in a panic, but his words of dissuasion were cut off by Ling Muzhu. "What Madam? My elder cousin is such a rare and talented individual. How could she possibly aspire to him with her appearance?"

"Speak, what did you do to my sister?"

Feng Jin glanced at him indifferently, ignoring him, and lowered her head to examine Ling Mohan's leg wound. As her hand touched his leg, a furious voice erupted from behind.

"Stop! What are you doing to my elder cousin?"

Ling Muzhu, enraged, lunged forward with his sword.

Sensing the killing intent behind her, Feng Jin's eyes suddenly turned cold. She shifted her body slightly, evading the attack, and with two fingers, she caught the tip of the icy sword.

Turning, her dark tresses flew, and Feng Jin's clear, cold eyes shimmered with an icy hue. She said coldly, "I don't like it when people point swords at me."

*Crack!*

The sword snapped into two halves!

Ling Muzhu, already furious, became even more enraged. "You dare break my sword? I'll kill you!"

With that, he raised his hand to strike Feng Jin.

*Bang!*

Feng Jin grabbed his wrist and flung him to the ground. "Don't you understand human language?"

"Ugly woman, you dare lay hands on me?"

As a young master of the Ling family, Ling Muzhu had never suffered such humiliation. He glared at her viciously.

What was even more unbelievable to him was that this ugly woman knew martial arts!

"Young Master, you should stop causing trouble. If Old Master finds out, he will punish us servants."

The attendant was terrified, fearing that if the commotion continued, Old Master Feng would be alerted.

"Tell me, what did you give my sister that rendered her unable to move?" Ling Muzhu scrambled up from the ground, glaring at Feng Jin.

Feng Jin raised her eyebrows slightly and said calmly, "I sealed her pressure points. They will automatically release in half an hour."

"Impossible!" Ling Muzhu refused to believe it. If it were just that, he wouldn't be unable to undo it.

"Throw him out," Feng Jin said coldly, glancing at the attendant.

The attendant dared not move, thinking that if the masters fought, they, the servants, would be implicated.

Ling Muzhu sneered, looking at Feng Jin's incredibly ugly face with increasing disgust. "You two, tie her up. I'll teach her a good lesson."

"Young Master..."

The two attendants exchanged glances, clearly hesitant.

Although this new Madam was brought in for good luck, she was nominally the wife of the Young General.

"Don't forget, not only has my cousin not woken up, but even if he did, he wouldn't acknowledge this woman." Ling Muzhu, seeing the attendants' hesitation, threatened, "Don't forget whose hands your indentures are in. Move!"

Upon hearing this, the two attendants had no choice but to brace themselves and step forward.

"Madam, forgive my offense!"

Feng Jin watched them calmly. As they reached for her, her body moved with uncanny speed, flashing behind them.

The attendants, unable to maintain their balance, stumbled forward.

"Ugly woman, just surrender obediently, or don't blame me for being impolite," Ling Muzhu snorted.

Did she think that just because she knew a few fighting moves, he couldn't do anything to her?

"If you don't want to die, get out!" Feng Jin's expression turned cold as he pestered her like a mad dog.

"Madam, it's best not to offend Young Master."

The attendant offered a kind warning. Everyone knew that this Young Master was accustomed to being arrogant in the manor. Besides Old Master and the Eldest Young Master, no one could control him.

"As long as you obediently kneel and apologize to my eldest sister, I'll let you off. Otherwise..."

Before Ling Muzhu could finish his threat, a figure flashed before his eyes.

The next instant.

His throat was caught by a hand.

Feng Jin's dark, cold eyes were like a thousand-year-old frozen pool, exuding a terrifying aura. "Don't you understand human language? For the Ling family, a scholarly lineage, to have a descendant like you is truly eye-opening."

Saying that, she kicked Ling Muzhu's knee, causing him to kneel. "The Ling family didn't teach you manners, so I, your elder sister-in-law, will. You lack etiquette and trespassed into the East Courtyard, that's the first offense."

"Secondly, they say an elder sister-in-law is like a mother. You disrespect me, your elder sister-in-law, and even threaten to attack me. Who gave you the nerve?"

"Thirdly, I am your elder cousin's wife. You should call me sister-in-law, not 'hey.' Do you understand?"

Ling Muzhu's face turned pale with pain. His legs felt as if they were being pricked by needles, and cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

Feng Jin looked down at him, her cold eyes devoid of any emotion. "If you heard me, get out!"

With that, she grabbed him by the collar and tossed him out.

The attendants watched, stunned into silence, not daring to breathe.

This... the new Madam was too brutal!

Everyone knew that this Young Master was the little overlord of the capital, accustomed to beating others, never to such abuse!

It was over!!!

In the end, they, the servants, would bear the brunt of it!

The attendants wailed inwardly and hurriedly ran out.
