Three women sat on the sofa chatting idly. Manman turned on the TV, and it just happened to show the scene of them being held hostage in the mall. The next second, the camera switched to Lu Jinghan and the others aiming guns at the kidnappers.
During that tense moment at the scene, Han Xi was so scared that she didn’t notice how handsome her husband really was.
"Oh right, I forgot to ask how they know how to use guns, and so well too," Manman said belatedly.
Han Xi smiled softly at the TV screen, "They were probably special forces in the army before."
"Oh my God, Feng Yi actually..." Manman covered her mouth in delight, almost jumping up.

After washing her hands in the bathroom, Manman went to the dining room and looked at the table full of dishes. Without any reservations, she gave Feng Yi a peck on the corner of his mouth, "Were you guys in the special forces before?"

Chu Ci couldn’t resist teasing as she sat down at the dining table.
"Kissing my own legal boyfriend isn’t against the law."
