Chapter 312: Chapter 312: Who Is the Real Third Wheel
The spring sunlight was dazzling, illuminating a room filled with romantic warmth through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
"Good morning, madam."
Harry Hunter kissed the little woman in his arms, unable to keep his hands off her curvaceous figure.
It’s as if the Creator favored her: jade-like skin and perfect proportions that made him intoxicated.
Isabella Weaver opened her eyes, dazed, and replied, "Good morning, Mr. Hunter."
Then she kissed him back.
Harry’s diligent coaching yielded some results; she had indeed gotten used to giving him a good morning kiss upon waking.
"Are we still going on a spring outing?"
Isabella snuggled closer in his arms with her eyes closed, her voice lazy, "What time is it?"
"A little after nine, still early."
Still early?!
Isabella suddenly became more alert, sprang up, and then, with an "ow," lay back down again.
Her whole body was sore!
The intensity and passion of the previous night flooded her mind, making Isabella feel shy and angry as she wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, leaving Harry’s long and sturdy body exposed to the air.
Isabella took just one look before covering her eyes quickly, "Beast! Put your clothes on, quickly!"
Harry chuckled deeply, undisturbed by his exposure, and hugged her with the blanket, teasingly saying, "Wasn’t it you who tore off my clothes last night?"
"No way, it wasn’t me!"
"Since you took them off, shouldn’t you put them back on?"
"I told you it wasn’t me!"
Harry, in a good mood, got out of bed, put on some clothes, then fetched clothes for Isabella, and sat by the bed, "Get up and have something to eat. If you’re tired, we can just stay home today, not go anywhere."
Isabella peeked out her eyes again, "No way, we have to go. The weather is so nice!"
She got dressed, went to the bathroom to wash, and when she looked in the mirror, she saw a few faint kiss marks on her neck.
She reached over to pinch the man beside her, "How am I supposed to go out like this!"
Even while being pinched, Harry remained cheerful. He hugged Isabella’s waist and kissed her cheek, "It’s fine, wear a high-collared shirt or a scarf."
Isabella disdainfully wiped the toothpaste foam off her cheek that he had left there and created a bunch of foam herself, going over to kiss Harry.
Seeing Harry’s face covered in foam, she laughed joyfully.
Harry laughed along, indulging her every bit of mischief.
By the time they got ready, had breakfast, and headed out, it was already past ten.
Harry drove the car, taking her toward the suburbs.
Isabella sat in the passenger seat, looking at the lush spring scenery, then turned to ask Harry, "Where’s Connor?"
"I gave him a break, let him spend time with his girlfriend."
"Did Cora sleep at his place last night?"
"Mm."
"What about Doctor Niles?"
"He also stayed at Connor’s place."
Isabella suddenly laughed, thinking Connor must be quite annoyed with Johan Niles being such a third wheel!
At the cinema.
Johan Niles squeezed in between Connor and Cora Ginger, eagerly asking, "Are we watching a horror movie or an action film?"
Connor hooked an arm around his shoulder, speaking softly beside him, "If my girlfriend runs off because of you, get ready to turn reality into an action and horror film combo!"
"Let me remind you, Connor, you don’t even have a girlfriend yet! She still hasn’t agreed, right?"
"If you weren’t around, we might already have kids by now!"
"Wow, Connor, you’re so naughty! Thinking such impure thoughts!"
"You better scram, don’t ruin my date!"
Cora Ginger watched the two men whispering with their arms around each other and couldn’t help but rest her chin in her hand, pondering why she felt like the third wheel.
