Liang Yu Feng stared at the two juniors for a moment before nodding, believing Jiang Yue Kai's words.
Lin Jing Chu, however, had been watching Jiang Yue Kai. He noticed her composure when she lied, her face betraying no hint of panic. If he hadn't known the truth, he might have been fooled by her displayed calmness.
He was now more certain than ever that the things Jiang Yue Kai had said earlier were likely fabricated.
Lan Lan, in a good mood, invited Lin Jing Chu to stay for lunch. Afterward, she arranged for the two youngsters to go to a room upstairs for some "alone time." Liang Yu Feng watched them go upstairs with a worried expression.
Lan Lan asked him with a smile, "What's wrong?"
"What do you think?" Liang Yu Feng felt that Lan Lan was asking the obvious. How could she not understand his worries?
Lan Lan, of course, knew, which made her find it even more amusing. "We're all downstairs. What can they do?"

Upstairs, Lin Jing Chu was massaging Jiang Yue Kai's legs. Both her thighs and calves were sore. After entering the bedroom, she lay down on the bed. Lin Jing Chu sat by her side, placing her legs on his thighs, and began to knead them.

Especially after witnessing his performance last night, Jiang Yue Kai felt that the word "taciturnly passionate" suited him better. She had once wondered why Lin Jing Chu hadn't inherited Xing Zheng's strong personality at all.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Lin Jing Chu was flustered by Jiang Yue Kai's intense gaze, his massaging movements slowing down.

Lin Jing Chu's body suddenly tensed. He swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing.

"Not here, at your place," Lin Jing Chu managed to maintain some rationality. Given the intensity of their encounter last night, causing a scene here would surely lead to Liang Yu Feng kicking them out.
"I can let you rub against me," Jiang Yue Kai said, straddling him and looking at him with a smile. "Want to?"

"Who is it?" Liang Yu Feng heard Jiang Yue Kai's voice, unchanged from her usual tone.
"It's me," Liang Yu Feng replied. "Lunch is almost ready. You can get ready to come down for dinner."
"Okay, Dad. We'll be right there." Jiang Yue Kai's voice came from further away, then closer. Soon, the door in front of him opened.
Liang Yu Feng instinctively looked at Jiang Yue Kai, seeing nothing unusual. Lin Jing Chu, meanwhile, was helping Jiang Yue Kai open the window for ventilation and tidying up the bookshelf.
Liang Yu Feng breathed a sigh of relief and went downstairs.
Jiang Yue Kai listened to the receding footsteps and patted her chest. "Good thing we finished early." If it had been a few minutes later, Liang Yu Feng would have definitely found out.
Lin Jing Chu also felt a sense of lingering fear. Jiang Yue Kai leaned close to his ear and whispered, "I feel like we're having an affair."

After having lunch with Lan Lan and Liang Yu Feng, Lin Jing Chu took Jiang Yue Kai back home in the afternoon.
