Chapter 610 Besides You

Shen Su's expression immediately darkened, and he frowned, "What do you mean?"

Feng Feng said, "It's been quite a while, I want to switch partners, I'm a bit tired of you."

The way she spoke, as if evaluating a commodity, made Shen Su even more furious. For the first time, he lost control of his emotions in front of her. "A bit tired? Should you clean up the mess on the sofa before saying something like that?"

Feng Feng's expression remained unchanged. "Physical reactions don't mean anything."

"You think every man has that ability," Shen Su sneered.

Feng Feng said, "Indeed, not everyone does. But don't you think it's been a bit too long? Given your pace of changing women, you should be tired of me by now."

Shen Su narrowed his eyes and stared at her. "Is this because of that phone call just now?"

Feng Feng did not confirm or deny. Shen Su said to her, "If you insist on saying I have some connection with her, fine. She's my ex-girlfriend. We broke up two years ago. I ran into her in New York while she was on a photography trip, and we had dinner."

Although Feng Feng hadn't asked for an explanation, he still clarified Qin Siruan's identity to her.

"Oh," Feng Feng said. "That's not within the scope of my concern."

She kept saying she wanted to draw a line between them. Shen Su directly extinguished that thought. "Regarding our relationship, I haven't considered ending it for now."

"We're both busy. You probably don't have time to find someone as suitable as me, do you?" Shen Su said. "I'll pretend I didn't hear what you just said. Let's eat, and after that, we can continue."

Feng Feng was silent for a moment. After some consideration, she said to him, "Take some time in the next few days to get another check-up."

Shen Su's movements paused. He immediately understood her meaning. "What do you think I've done?"

Feng Feng didn't answer, only saying, "For safety's sake, even though I've been vaccinated, but..."

"Feng Feng," Shen Su interrupted her coldly before she could finish. "In the past year or so, besides you, I haven't slept with anyone else."

Feng Feng remained silent, but her expression suggested disbelief. Shen Su asked her, "Do you think I have this much energy left for you after dealing with others? Do you really think I'm a perpetual motion machine?"

Feng Feng: "..." That did make some sense.

"If you're still not at ease, I'll get another check-up tomorrow," Shen Su finally compromised. But he had a condition. "Don't say such things to me casually anymore. I don't like hearing them."

"Oh, okay," Feng Feng agreed.

After this, Shen Su had nothing more to say. The two ate the meal in silence.

As Feng Feng was wiping her mouth, Shen Su kicked away the dining chair, pulled her onto the dining table, and skillfully parted her legs.

Feng Feng was wearing a nightgown, which made his actions easier. Without any preparation, he struck decisively.

Feng Feng's body trembled uncontrollably. "Slow down."

Shen Su usually took her feelings into consideration in this regard. As long as Feng Feng spoke, whether it was fast or slow, gentle or heavy, he would do as she said.

But today, he completely ignored her. In fact, after she said that, he intensified his actions.

When they finished in the latter half of the night, Feng Feng was too exhausted to get up. Even turning over made her feel weak.

Shen Su went to take a shower. Listening to the sound of water from the bathroom, Feng Feng thought about his loss of control tonight. She guessed the reason was probably that she had mentioned ending things, and Shen Su felt he had lost face, so he was punishing her in this way.

However, since Shen Su said he hadn't been with anyone else, Feng Feng saw no immediate need to end things with him. After all, they were very compatible in bed.

It wasn't that she unconditionally trusted Shen Su; it was just that what he said made a lot of sense. They were always so passionate every time. If Shen Su still had the energy to be with others, he would probably need to see a doctor.

Shen Su came out after his shower, lay down beside her, pulled Feng Feng into his arms, and unceremoniously kissed her neck and collarbone. Feng Feng was scared. "I can't anymore, let's do it tomorrow."

Shen Su stopped and his gaze lingered on her red lips. "This part is still okay, right? We haven't used it today."

They had done this sort of thing often before, and Feng Feng was not shy. She had angered Shen Su today, so it was normal to pay a price, especially since he had just showered.

Feng Feng burrowed under the covers. Shen Su's hand suddenly pressed down on the covers, and the veins on his forearm bulged frighteningly.

After a night of indulgence, Feng Feng had no strength to get out of bed in the morning. She was awake but didn't want to move at all.

Shen Su had made an appointment with the doctor and got up around eight o'clock. Before leaving, he said to Feng Feng, "The medicine you asked me to bring is on the coffee table. I'll come back after the check-up."

Feng Feng: "Oh."

Feng Feng lay in bed all morning. Around one o'clock in the afternoon, she got up and made herself something simple to eat.

In the afternoon, Lan Lan invited her to go shopping, but Feng Feng declined. Lan Lan's curiosity was piqued by her unusual behavior. "Why aren't you even going shopping anymore?"

Feng Feng: "I'm not feeling well."

Lan Lan: "Are you sick? I'll come see you."

Feng Feng: "Overindulgence."

Lan Lan: "Isn't Shen Su in New York? Did he come back and immediately have sex with you?"

Feng Feng: "..."

Lan Lan: "Don't tell me you two had sex all night."

Feng Feng rubbed her forehead, recalling last night. Although it wasn't all night, it was close enough if you rounded up.

The shopping plan was canceled. Feng Feng ordered some fruit for delivery. In the evening, Shen Su returned with the medical report.

The medical report showed no problems. After Feng Feng read it, Shen Su smiled and asked her, "Can you believe me now?"

Feng Feng: "I wasn't doubting you in the first place."

Shen Su: "Oh, really? My standing in your heart is that high."

After Qin Siruan returned to Nanjiang, she began preparing for her photography exhibition. Fearing she would annoy Shen Su, she only contacted him after the tickets were released.

Qin Siruan sent Shen Su a WeChat message: "The tickets for the photography exhibition are out. Shall I mail them to you?"

Shen Su replied with an address. Qin Siruan recognized it as his villa, meaning he hadn't moved. The Swan Bay residence was occupied by that woman.

The day after Shen Su replied to Qin Siruan's message, he received the tickets she had mailed after work. Qin Siruan generously sent five tickets. Shen Su took a photo of the tickets and sent it to Feng Feng. "Want to go to an exhibition together this weekend?"

Seeing the information on the tickets, Feng Feng knew it was his ex-girlfriend's exhibition. However, she was quite interested in the theme of the exhibition, so she agreed.

On Friday night, Shen Su stayed over at Feng Feng's place, and on Saturday, they went to the exhibition together.

Nanjiang had entered winter. The weather today was gloomy, as if it were about to snow. However, even so, it couldn't dampen people's enthusiasm for the exhibition.

The exhibition hall on the weekend was more crowded than usual.

As Feng Feng and Shen Su walked in, they began to admire the photographic works on the surrounding walls. Then, in the author's introduction section, they saw Qin Siruan's photo.

In the photo, Qin Siruan was bare-faced, wearing a windbreaker and carrying a camera. She was petite, with very bright eyes, much like Feng Feng had imagined.

If she were a man, Feng Feng thought she would probably like this type as well.

"Hi, you're here." As Feng Feng was looking at the photo, the person herself appeared.
