Chapter 412 Fleeing

Qi Ze and Hei Dao clashed, and within moments, Hei Dao found himself at a disadvantage. Hei Dao's skill level was inherently a notch below Qi Ze's, and to make matters worse, Ah Dong had injured him earlier while he was in Ao Si's presence. His current strength was far from its peak.

However, even with all that, Qi Ze likely wouldn't be able to defeat him quickly.

There were enough people around Lin Yan's car that the Song family's reinforcements wouldn't be able to get close for a while.

The two sides exchanged blows, and after five minutes, many people had fallen. Hei Dao was also starting to struggle.

Just as Qi Ze had knocked Hei Dao to the ground and was preparing to cripple him, a group of people surged out from the alley behind Hei Dao.

Leading the charge was a burly man who, with lightning speed, intercepted Qi Ze's steel pipe.

In the chaos, Qi Ze didn't pay much attention and was directly blocked by the burly man.

Under the light, Qi Ze saw the man's face.

"Kun Liu!"

"Qi Ze, if you know what's good for you, hand over the people we want. Otherwise, you and your young master will both stay here today."

Pulling Hei Dao up from the ground, the burly man spoke to Qi Ze with a tone full of threat.

The burly man stood at 1.9 meters, taller than both Qi Ze and Hei Dao. He appeared to be around thirty years old, wearing a black tank top, with exaggerated muscle lines and tattoos on his arms. Judging by his appearance alone, his strength was likely comparable to Hei Dao's.

Kun Liu didn't bring many people, only about twenty odd thugs, but Qi Ze felt a significant increase in pressure, as Kun Liu's strength was on par with his own.

"Brother Liu, did you block them?"

Getting up from the ground, Hei Dao took a steel pipe from one of his subordinates and respectfully asked the newly arrived burly man.

"Yes, we need to finish this quickly. They can't hold them off for long."

Kun Liu glanced at the situation on the field and nodded, his expression growing serious. They had to be fast. Not only could the others not hold out much longer, but the people the family head had stationed upstairs likely wouldn't last much longer either. If they couldn't capture those two soon, something terrible might happen.

Qi Ze, standing opposite the two, overheard their conversation.

No wonder they were so close to headquarters, and the family head hadn't sent reinforcements. It turned out this guy was blocking them!

When the Song family confirmed Lin Yan's whereabouts, they had two plans: one in the northern district and one in the eastern district. If Lin Yan returned to the Lin family, they would intercept him in the eastern district. Fortunately, Lin Yan didn't, so some of the people originally stationed in the northern district were reassigned to block Lin family reinforcements.

"I'll hold him off. You go find the people quickly."

Kun Liu stretched his arms, his gaze fixed on Qi Ze. Their strengths were equal, so he would deal with Qi Ze, allowing Hei Dao to quickly find the two people the family head wanted.

Seeing Hei Dao leading his men towards the young master's direction, Qi Ze turned to intercept him, but before he could take a few steps, Kun Liu's steel pipe swung towards him. Qi Ze had no choice but to raise his weapon to block.

Damn it, Qi Ze cursed inwardly as he glanced at Hei Dao in the distance and Kun Liu entangled with him.

This was bad. The situation on the field was now too disadvantageous. If this continued, the young master would be overwhelmed.

With Hei Dao's arrival and the addition of Kun Liu's twenty-odd thugs, Lin Yan's escorts were falling like dominoes. Half of the thugs were of moderate strength, and facing them was like sending them to their deaths. The most crucial factor was Hei Dao's strength, as he could fight several people at once.

Seeing that the outside was about to collapse, Ah Dong, inside the car, grew anxious.

"Young master, perhaps I should go down."

Lin Yan did not answer Ah Dong's question from inside the car. Instead, he continued to look at the map on his phone.

Without the young master's order, Ah Dong could only sit in the car, worrying.

"Li Wei, call Yang Tianming."

Putting down his phone, Lin Yan suddenly spoke. Hearing Lin Yan's words, Li Wei, sitting in the driver's seat, immediately took out his phone and called Yang Tianming without hesitation.

Lin Yan tightened Su Mojin's seatbelt, then switched places with Li Wei, who was in the driver's seat, from the center console. The passenger seat was now empty, and Li Wei moved to the co-pilot's position.

Ah Dong was stunned by this scene, not understanding Lin Yan's intention.

The enemy had blocked both the front and the back. Did he intend to drive away?

Getting into the driver's seat and quickly fastening his seatbelt, Lin Yan spoke into the phone that had just connected.

"Give the phone to Lun Si."

A noisy sound came from the other end of the phone, and the mobile phone was passed to Lun Si.

"Lun Si, if you're still alive, get into the driver's seat and follow me out."

Lin Yan observed his surroundings through the rearview mirror, opened his phone's navigation, and placed his hand on the gear stick.

"Ah Dong, find a way to notify our people outside. When we leave, tell them to retreat towards the racetrack."

"Yes, young master."

Hearing the young master's command, Ah Dong snapped back to attention and took out his walkie-talkie to issue the order.

Lun Si, on the other end of the phone, was also taken aback by Lin Yan's words and didn't understand his intention. He then reacted, forcing himself up, enduring the pain in his calf, and moved from the back seat to the center console and driver's seat.

"Brother Dao, there's something going on with this car."

As soon as Lun Si settled into his seat, a shout came from outside the car, and the car door handle was pulled. However, the car was locked, and it didn't open.

Hearing the shout, Hei Dao immediately led his men towards the car. However, before he could get close.

"Everyone, get out of the way!"

Li Wei shouted out the window, followed by the roar of an engine. The two Alphards in front of Hei Dao drifted and spun, turning around and then speeding forward along the shoulders of the road.

The road was blocked at the front and back by a line of Santanas. There were about four or five of them stacked in the middle of the road. The reason Lin Yan chose the shoulders was that there was only one car blocking that path.

Looking at the line of Santanas blocking the way, Lin Yan, in the driver's seat, floored the accelerator. The car's speed rapidly increased, quickly exceeding eighty miles per hour.

With a shout of "Hold on tight," the car violently rammed into a Santana parked sideways on the shoulder.

"Bang!"

A loud noise came from the front of the car. The Alphard's front end caved in, but the Santana was also flipped over and landed on its side, creating a gap between it and the adjacent Santana.

As the collision occurred, Lin Yan's body jolted, and his chest was painfully constricted by the seatbelt, but his hands did not stop moving.

He shifted into reverse and floored the accelerator again, the car rapidly backing up.

"Lun Si! Now!"

Lin Yan's voice came from Yang Tianming's phone. Without reducing speed, Lun Si turned the steering wheel, drove off the shoulder, dodged Lin Yan's car, and then, without slowing down, swerved back onto the road. After a moment of shaking, the car rammed into the gap next to the Santana.

Pushing the upright Santana aside, Lun Si drove his car out of the road.

As Lin Yan saw Lun Si's car speed past him, he shifted back into drive and followed closely behind Lun Si's car.

"Where are we going!"

"Right side, out of the city!"

After breaking free, the two glanced around. Lun Si asked Lin Yan.

The eastern district was now completely controlled by the Song family, so there was a risk no matter which way they went.

Lin Yan guessed that since they had confirmed he was heading into the city, the Song family wouldn't have prepared personnel outside the city. Therefore, heading out of the city was the best option, to circle around to the racetrack.
