The Red Bull F1 pit crew was incredibly famous. Lin Yan also wanted to train his team's mechanics to that level, which naturally required daily training.
Exiting turn eleven, Lin Yan was once again right behind Reisner, his front tire touching Reisner's rear. One more inch and their tires would collide. At turn twelve, Lin Yan made his move again, staying with Reisner and pulling out before the corner.
Because turn twelve was a hairpin, the braking was extremely heavy. Lin Yan's rear wheels lifted off the ground. Heavy braking was like a straight: regardless of whether it worked, brute force would work wonders. The front suspension bottomed out, the rear wheel lifted, and he entered the corner with a wheelie.
This hairpin, the easiest place to overtake, saw Reisner braking exceptionally hard. Most overtakes on the track required the leading car to anticipate and defend, but a small portion didn't. Corners like this, which were difficult to defend, almost guaranteed an overtake attempt from the following car if the distance was sufficient.
Besides this, there were also the advantage sections of the track for various race cars. If you were riding a Suzuki or Yamaha and a Ducati was behind you, there was no doubt they would make a move at the end of the straight. Conversely, if you were riding a Ducati and found yourself in a high-speed or consecutive corner section, a Suzuki or Yamaha behind you would do the same. This was because overtaking in their advantage sections was easy and didn't cost tires.
Reisner knew Lin Yan would make a move in this corner and had already taken the inside line, braking late – the "three-pronged attack" of defense. Reisner executed every detail perfectly, but he knew he couldn't defend this corner. That's how it was with overtaking corners; even if Lin Yan was ahead, he couldn't defend this one.
He extended his leg, throwing the bike into the inside line, and then straightened out on exit. Lin Yan's bike roared past him on the side. In his advantage section, Lin Yan could maintain his line perfectly, preventing Reisner from crossing over to regain position. In the corner, Reisner pushed the Ducati GP23's cornering performance to its absolute limit, but he still couldn't hold on. Compared to Honda, the GP23's cornering performance was mediocre, even after optimization, it remained firmly at the bottom among the six major manufacturers.
Under his helmet visor, Reisner clearly saw Lin Yan's bike shoot past him. His rhythm remained unbroken; he opened the throttle at the apex and continued through the exit. Both bikes exited violently, one in front of the other. At turn thirteen, a U-turn, a left-hand corner, Reisner braked late again and surged up from the left, engaging in close-quarters combat, trying to regain position in turn thirteen.
As always, the braking was incredibly heavy. The two bikes were completely glued together. Reisner's late braking even knocked off Lin Yan's front wing, a fierce move that snapped the bright red wing off and sent it tumbling to the ground. Don't assume race cars are built for durability; a race car's front wing, in simple terms, falls off with the slightest contact. This is for weight reduction and rider safety in crashes. With the front wing gone, Lin Yan's bike wobbled slightly but quickly stabilized. A single front wing didn't significantly affect Lin Yan; after a brief wobble, he continued to follow Reisner.
In the following corners, the two exchanged moves frequently. Lin Yan was testing, while Reisner was defending with all his might. Exiting the corners and heading for the final straight, the two GP23s flew off, leaving all the smaller displacement sportbikes they were training with far behind. They were literally outdistancing them at a visible speed, no exaggeration.
At the end of the straight, Reisner positioned his bike directly in the middle of the track, taking a mid-inside-outside line, strictly defending against Lin Yan behind him. This time, his braking wasn't too late; he was afraid he wouldn't be able to defend when exiting the corner. This kind of defense was very meticulous, and Lin Yan had no recourse unless he forced the issue.
The two bikes entered turn one side-by-side. Because Lin Yan was missing a front wing, his bike wobbled slightly through the corner, but it wasn't a major issue. Through turns two and three, Lin Yan made his usual move, and the two bikes were once again locked in a battle.

A week later.
On the second floor of the villa, Lin Yan and Su Mojin had packed their bags. It was time to depart for the next race that morning. Lin Yan casually packed a few changes of clothes, then grabbed their luggage and headed out. Having been cooped up at home for so many days, he was looking forward to having some fun abroad.
Their destination this time was Country T. Country T was very close to China. As fellow Eastern countries, Lin Yan was very interested in its culture and customs. Of course, to be clear, Lin Yan wasn't interested in its people. Su Mojin was also quite interested in Country T, having heard that their durians were excellent. Country T was famous for its fruits, especially durian.
After a simple packing, the two left the villa. At the entrance to the racetrack at the foot of the mountain, Reisner, Ren Fei, Lun Si, and Zhang Mingzhi were all ready, standing there with their luggage. Although they were departing together, they were split into two groups. Excluding the Jiang Qiyan siblings who had left earlier, Lin Yan and Ren Fei were one group, while Matt, Reisner, and Lun Si were another. Even though the road was the same, the teams still needed to be distinct.
"It's okay, don't put too much pressure on yourself this time. Just adapt slowly." As he got into the car, Lin Yan walked over to Reisner and patted his shoulder, offering a simple word of comfort that deeply touched Reisner.
They got into the cars and set off for Dongcheng Airport. For this race, the two teams had prepared ten of the latest model race cars, one more than the usual team configuration, to guard against any unforeseen circumstances. Arriving at Dongcheng Airport, the plane took off, heading for Country T.
...
At 2 PM local time in Country T, the plane slowly landed at the capital airport. As they opened the cabin door, Su Mojin felt no discomfort here, being from another Eastern country and a neighbor at that. Lin Yan, Reisner, and others disembarked together, while Zhang Mingzhi and his team went to direct the unloading of goods as usual.
With the establishment of the new team, the scale of their RVs had also changed, doubling in number from two to four, with two of them being sky blue. It had to be said, this color seemed subtly more attractive and cooler on the road than Lin Yan's red ones.
"Honey, why don't we take that car?"
