Chapter 374: Chapter 374: Unexpected Incident

Shi Yu’s breathing was heavier than usual, and Shen Cheng knew he was adjusting himself to avoid hurting her.

She wanted to pull her hand back, but he was holding it too tightly, and she couldn’t break free.

She frowned slightly and said, "I heard that after three months, it should be fine, maybe we could..."

After saying this, Shen Cheng’s face was rarely flushed with embarrassment.

It really wasn’t what she wanted, but she felt he was suffering too much.

Unexpectedly, the man on top of her did not take the hint, lifting his head suddenly, his gaze darkened but he coldly spat out two words: "No way."

His tone was indescribably composed and firm.

Then he wrapped Shen Cheng in the blanket and went to the bathroom himself.

Soon, the sound of running water could be heard from inside.

Through the frosted glass, Shen Cheng watched his blurred figure, and her heart was filled with warmth.

In the middle of the night, as Shen Cheng slept in a daze, she heard Shi Yu answering a phone call.

He lowered his voice very much, and Shen Cheng couldn’t hear it clearly.

She turned over to continue sleeping, but suddenly heard Shi Yu say in a deep voice, "Send someone to find him immediately."

Hearing this, she was jolted wide awake.

Shi Yu got out of bed in a rush, grabbed his coat, and headed for the door.

Shen Cheng sat up abruptly, looking at his retreating figure and asked, "What’s happened?"

Shi Yu stopped in his tracks to turn around, seeing her furrowed brow, and couldn’t help but walk back to the bed.

He leaned down in front of her, smoothing her brow with his finger, his charming lips lifting into a smile: "It’s company matters, I’ll be back after I handle it, okay?"

As he spoke, he leaned down to plant a kiss on her lips: "Be good, wait for me."

As soon as Shi Yu left the room, Shen Cheng rolled out of bed and went to the floor-to-ceiling window.

Watching his car leave the mansion, she dialed Sun Yan’s number.

The call had barely connected when Sun Yan’s anxious voice came through: "Young Madam, don’t worry, it’s not yet certain if the young master has been kidnapped..."

"Kidnapped?"

The words behind were cut off by Shen Cheng’s interrogation.

Without waiting for Sun Yan to speak, she demanded again: "What happened, make it clear!"

Her voice was so cold it chilled to the bone, making Sun Yan on the other end shiver.

Only then did he belatedly realize he had spoken out of turn...

"Young Madam, nothing happened..."

"Speak!"

Shen Cheng’s voice grew even colder, like a blade that could slice through bones.

"You have three seconds."

After saying that, Shen Cheng started counting: "Three."

"Two!"

"The young master is missing..."

Before Shen Cheng could count to one, Sun Yan finally blurted out the news.

Slap!

The phone fell to the floor, emitting a crisp sound.

Shen Cheng stumbled, nearly collapsing, but she steadied herself on the sofa just in time.

Her body quivered slightly, her face as pale as paper.

Her mind went blank, with only the words ’missing’ repeating over and over again...

"Young Madam!"

"Young Madam, are you still there?"

"Young Madam, don’t worry, the boss has sent people to look for him, I believe we will find the young master soon!"

"Young Madam..."

On the phone, Sun Yan’s anxious voice kept coming through, but Shen Cheng had no intention of responding.

After an indefinite period, she suddenly rushed to the bedside.

She rummaged through the drawer for the car keys and hurriedly ran out.

She drove out of the parking lot, flooring the accelerator, and sped away from the mansion, heading towards the hospital.
