Chapter 377 Forever and Always Mine

"Ye Luan!"

A furious roar suddenly erupted from inside the carriage, startling everyone outside to look over.

Ye Luan, finding his behavior embarrassing, chided, "Why are you shouting?"

"Say that again!"

Xiao Chi Zhan's eyes were bloodshot, and violent jealousy coursed wildly through him. The entire carriage was filled with a dangerous aura, so oppressive it made it difficult to breathe.

Ye Luan, long accustomed to it, maintained a placid expression, her calm unyielding.

"Since Your Highness wishes to hear it, this humble lady will repeat myself. I say--"

"Mmm~"

He pinned her down and kissed her.

Caught off guard by his sudden assault, Ye Luan was about to push him away when he abruptly lifted her.

Instantly, she straddled him, her hands held fast by his, as he pressed his kiss upon her.

He had been unable to contain himself during their argument, and now, provoked by her words, how could he possibly hold back?

She was his alone; no one else would dare lay a hand on her.

He kissed her lips, her cheeks, then traced a path downwards along her chin.

Burying his head in her fair neck, he suckled and nipped, leaving behind crimson marks.

His hands grew restless, fumbling at her clothes, as if he intended to devour her whole.

Ye Luan's eyes reddened from his ministrations, and she bit him in exasperation.

"There are people outside; they'll hear us."

But he paid no heed, tearing at her undergarments, seizing her waist, and burying himself within her.

Ye Luan let out a muffled groan, immediately clamping her mouth over his shoulder, doing her best to suppress her voice.

Xiao Chi Zhan pressed against her, like a beast, his grip tightening on her waist to keep her trapped in his embrace, cradling her head as they kissed with intoxicating passion.

Within the confined space of the carriage, the amorous heat slowly began to rise.

A blush crept onto Ye Luan's face, and she couldn't help but let out soft,娇喘 (jiāochuǎn - panting/moaning). She tilted her head back, her hands clinging to his shoulders, her eyes hazy with desire.

"You scoundrel, that's all you know how to do."

Though she cursed him, her foxy eyes shimmered with a bewitching allure, as if veiled in mist, utterly devoid of any real threat.

Xiao Chi Zhan's eyes remained bloodshot as he gazed at her, fiercely declaring, "Besides me, you are not to marry anyone else."

"You are mine. No one can take you away; you belong only to me."

The sides of the carriage were tightly enclosed, casting a dim light, yet she could clearly see the gloom shadowing his features, a terrifying sight.

Ye Luan averted her gaze, burying her face in his shoulder and grumbling.

"I can't be bothered with you."

"What do you mean, 'can't be bothered'?!"

Xiao Chi Zhan, displeased, ground against her with force, his hands still encircling her waist and pulling her closer.

Ye Luan bit her lip, hugging his back, and deliberately cooed.

"Didn't someone ask why I wasn't marrying someone else? Aren't I fulfilling his wish?"

"----" Xiao Chi Zhan lowered his gaze. "Sharp-tongued."

Ye Luan retorted, "Childish."

Xiao Chi Zhan stared at her, unmoving.

She wriggled her waist, looking up at him with a hint of suspicion.

Seeing him about to explain, Ye Luan couldn't help but curl her lips and chide him.

'Aren't you sulking with me?'

Xiao Chi Zhan said, "You've been ignoring me."

"Who asked you to be jealous and throw tantrums every day?"

She shot him a glare, full of exasperation.

He remained silent, his alluring crimson eyes fixed on her, his movements below growing steadier.

Ye Luan let out a soft hum, hugging him as she slowly spoke, "The brocade box Bloodblade was sent to retrieve does indeed belong to Lu Fei Bai----"

He pressed down with dissatisfaction.

"Mmm~"

Ye Luan reached out and playfully twisted his side, feigning anger. "Are you listening or not?"

"Speak."

"That brocade box contained a letter, left by Lu Fei Bai for Xie Bei Han." Ye Luan paused, then looked at him. "Xie Bei Han is stubborn and malicious, but he holds deep affection and loyalty for the Young Lord, and will heed his words."

"I didn't want you going to war, nor did I want war to break out because of me, so I took the letter to see him."

Xiao Chi Zhan stared intently at her, his tone laced with sarcasm. "Even after death, he still looks out for you, fearing Xie Bei Han might trouble you. Lu Fei Bai clearly felt a deep affection for you as well."

Ye Luan cast him a sideways glance. "Isn't it better to resolve issues without resorting to force?"

"Are you so certain he will obey Lu Fei Bai?!"

He stroked her hair, his movements below steady and powerful, the corners of his eyes tinged with red, making his alluring crimson eyes even more captivating.

Ye Luan gazed at his features, then lowered her head and kissed him. "He will."

Xiao Chi Zhan's actions grew more intense. "You certainly know them well."

"----"

"Then why didn't you ask me if I was going to fight him?!"

Ye Luan hooked his chin and kissed him, her voice sweet and tender.

"We need to hurry back and get married. Why would you waste time fighting him?"

Xiao Chi Zhan, "----"

"He's irrational, but Your Highness is brilliant and renowned. You wouldn't stoop to his level."

Xiao Chi Zhan, "----"

He let out a hum, then covered her lips, kissing her with a heavy bite.

Even if war wasn't declared, he would still kill Xie Bei Han!

Seeing his ferocity subside somewhat, Ye Luan embraced him and kissed him.

"Can you try to control your temper less in the future? You're spoiled."

Hearing her complaint, Xiao Chi Zhan replied, "Then you can't keep meeting anyone behind my back."

Ye Luan chuckled and kissed his lips. "You're so insecure."

Without waiting for his reply, she continued, "I promise, I'll never hide anything from you again."

Xiao Chi Zhan's expression brightened.

Ye Luan smiled softly, her lips brushing his ear as she whispered, "I love you."

"Ye Luan loves only Xiao Chi Zhan in this life."

Her voice was so gentle that Xiao Chi Zhan's heart melted, and his somber expression softened as he began to kiss her relentlessly.

"What do you mean, 'this life'? You are mine for eternity."

They were entangled tightly, her clothes loosely piled around her waist, revealing skin that looked as if dusted with fine, pearlescent powder, smooth and delicate.

He glanced at it, then, like a mad dog, lunged down to bite it.

Ye Luan trembled all over, her scalp tingling, and tightened her legs around him.

Just then, Wei Qing Ge's voice suddenly came from outside.

"A'Luan, has the Prince left? We're about to depart."

Ye Luan was startled by the sudden voice. Caught up in his attentions, she had forgotten they were in a carriage.

She shot a silent glare at the man beneath her, took a deep breath, and modulated her voice to reply, "My clothes are wet, I'm changing."

The moment she finished speaking, the madman beneath her hugged her waist and pressed down forcefully.

"Oh, what is it? I'm a woman too, I'm coming in."

Wei Qing Ge said, reaching out to push the door.

But in the next instant, a surge of energy, imbued with internal force, struck violently. The carriage door was firmly secured from the inside, rendering it impossible to open.

Confused, she kicked the door. "What's wrong with this door? A'Luan, it won't open."

Xiao Chi Zhan withdrew his hand, about to speak and dismiss her, when Ye Luan quickly covered his mouth. She hissed, "Be quiet."

If he spoke now, everyone would know what they were doing in the carriage, and it would be utterly mortifying.

"I've used the chest to prop it shut. I'm changing clothes. Don't come in yet, go sit in the carriage behind us."
