Chapter 1504 Speculation

A Middle Eastern realm master on duty watched the three figures disappear from the screen, a slight frown creasing his brow.

"Are these three trying to scare me again?"

As if this had happened before with the unfortunate trio, the Middle Eastern man paid it no mind and picked up his walkie-talkie, his tone laced with sarcasm.

"If you three don't come out soon, I'll sound the alarm. If the boss blames me then, it's not my fault."

He then leaned back in his chair with a smug expression, awaiting their capitulation or plea for mercy.

However, this time, there was no response from the walkie-talkie.

It wasn't until a minute later that the man finally sensed something was amiss.

But as he reached out to press a red button in front of him, a figure suddenly burst in.

"Who!"

Wu Di, unable to understand the man's native tongue, cut to the chase. His aura, nearing the peak of the fifth level, surged forth. The other man, only at the early stage of the fourth level, collapsed a second later, his eyes filled with regret.

"Done."

Wu Di turned and left.

The operation proceeded exceptionally smoothly. Within five minutes, the team located the target in a luxurious room.

The person was alive but, for some reason, remained unconscious.

"Captain Wu, what do we do?"

"Let's take him back first."

As long as the person was alive, Wu Di waved them off, directing the team to retreat.

Since their arrival, they had eliminated no less than ten realm masters, but they had not encountered the leader of the Flying Fish Organization mentioned in the intel, the sixth-level expert known as Tuna.

Seizing this opportune moment, why would they wait?

However, as they say, wishing doesn't make it so. Just as the team was leaving the building with Dr. Qiu Wen, they ran headfirst into a tattooed man wearing a vest.

He was a black man.

"Who are you!"

With a swish, the sixth-level aura erupted. Wu Di decisively commanded.

"Everyone, attack!"

The black man, initially mistaking the roughly twenty people for some random thugs, watched in shock as their auras surged. His face changed dramatically.

Without a second thought, he turned to flee!

Unfortunately, it was too late. The distance was already short, and he had charged forward first. Mere meters away, he was intercepted by Liu Tixing and the others.

"Don't kill me, I'll give you anything you want!"

Fluent international language poured out, but Wu Di had only one command.

"Kill!"

Before they came, Zhong Hanzi had stated that anyone they encountered here, unless they were their own people, were criminals who deserved to die and deserved no mercy.

Furthermore, while searching for Dr. Qiu Wen, they had witnessed the darkness of the place: numerous beautiful women were confined in iron cages.

If not for their mission, they would have purged the entire place!

Therefore, they showed no leniency to this Tuna!

Under the assault of over a dozen fifth-level experts, he lasted only half a minute before being blasted apart by a punch from one of the students, reduced to pieces of flesh.

Although the engagement was brief, the clash of their auras had been transmitted.

The auras of more than ten experts immediately converged on their position.

"Go!"

Getting caught in this situation would be troublesome, especially considering that the Hundongmen had peak seventh-level experts.

Dealing with sixth-level experts was manageable, especially with their numbers.

But facing a seventh-level, particularly a peak seventh-level enemy, even doubling their numbers would only lead to their demise!

Fortunately, Liu Tianzhi began creating diversions at the opportune moment.

As soon as experts from various factions moved to investigate, they discovered their own backyards were ablaze! They couldn't spare any attention for others and rushed back to their strongholds for defense.

By the time they returned, Liu Tianzhi and his group were long gone.

In this manner, the team smoothly spirited their captive away from the central city of Hundongmen.

They continued to make their way towards the coast.

Li Chonglou, who had just finished eating grilled fish and was about to fetch some more game, suddenly froze.

"Brother Li, is there anything else delicious? Why don't you tell me, and I'll go catch it."

Chen Pingfan, wiping his mouth with a look of lingering satisfaction, spoke up.

"Come with me."

Fearing a surprise attack, Li Chonglou activated his divine sight every few minutes. He hadn't expected to see an attacker, but instead, he saw Wu Di and his team returning with someone.

He didn't need to guess to know it was the target.

But was it really this simple?

Not long after, the group arrived at the coastline.

"Captain Wu, are we swimming back?"

Wu Di shook his head. "The real test is yet to come. They should only arrive at a designated time."

The team members looked enlightened.

So that's how it was! No wonder it was so smooth!

"Alright, let's find a safe place and set up a temporary combat zone!"

Wu Di calmly analyzed and directed, and the team quickly began to act.

Li Chonglou and Chen Pingfan stood at a distance, watching the busy team, feeling a bit awkward.

"Should we go over and lend a hand?"

"If you want to go, you go."

Li Chonglou flatly refused.

Despite his awkwardness, going over would inevitably lead to discussions of cooperation, and he didn't want to interact with them at this time.

Wu Di's side also noticed the two.

Liu Tianzhi chuckled lightly. "They're lucky. It seems like they're being ostracized, but in reality, all the work is being done by us."

Wu Di said indifferently, "Not necessarily. If the pursuers see we have a large group, they might not dare to attack directly. In that case, those two would be the prime targets."

"That's also true."

Liu Tixing, standing beside them, occasionally glanced towards Li Chonglou, a flicker of confusion in his eyes.

Strange, why hasn't anyone made a move? Didn't more than ten people accept the mission?

Could it be that they couldn't even find anyone for this?

However, Liu Tixing didn't know that the people who accepted his mission on the Black Net had already arrived.

But initially, they truly hadn't spotted Li Chonglou's presence, as who would have thought they would be hiding?

As Wu Di's team, such a large target, appeared, some people also found Li Chonglou.

But they didn't dare to act!

It was clear at a glance that this was an operation by the special forces of the Huaxia General Bureau, and they were not far from them. How could they dare to show themselves?

Who knew if this was a trap set for them!

Those who operated within the Black Net were not reckless individuals, and since this mission had no time limit, they were not in a hurry to act.

And so, time ticked by.

Soon, the agreed-upon time arrived.

Wu Di, with a peculiar expression, uttered the word "go" and then, along with the equally bewildered team, plunged into the sea.

Liu Tixing was even more bewildered.

Where were the people who accepted the mission? They were about to leave, and still no move?

Or was this mission something I overthought, and not orchestrated by those above?

Liu Tixing began to doubt his own deductions.
