Chapter 1 The First Item

Chen Pingfan scanned their surroundings. Although the moonlight was bright tonight, there wasn't a soul to be seen, let alone a ghost. He couldn't spot anything moving, only the dark stones.
However, even though there were no guards here, Chen Pingfan understood they couldn't just go down, as the villagers had explained.
So, he couldn't understand why Li Chonglou had suddenly brought him here instead of returning to camp to discuss the general offensive with Wu Di and the others.
"Shh, wait for me here."
After speaking, Li Chonglou suddenly disappeared.
Chen Pingfan's expression froze. By the time he wanted to follow, it was too late. He could only stand there, vigilantly watching the surrounding environment.
About ten seconds later, Li Chonglou reappeared at the intersection of the pit and the forest, stopping on the trunk of a tree that required three people to embrace.
"You were indeed discovered by us."
Li Chonglou looked down at them. Under his gaze, three figures emerged from behind the trees.
The leader, who had spoken, was the squad leader Wang Bing, who had previously teamed up with Chen Pingfan.
"Are you the captain who accompanied us this time?" Li Chonglou raised an eyebrow.
Wang Bing smiled faintly, "You must be Li Chonglou. I've heard of you. My name is Wang Bing, and I'm the captain of the team responsible for your mission."

This inexplicable action made Wang Bing and his two companions freeze simultaneously.
Li Chonglou continued, "By the way, Captain, should we deal with the people inside the mine first, or turn back and deal with the island nation's forces?"
