Chapter 908 Leave No Chicken or Dog

No man in this world would fail to feel excited upon seeing a Gatling Vulcan Cannon firing, its discharge capable of causing male beings' brains to secrete copious amounts of dopamine, driving them to unparalleled exhilaration. Such was the weapon's allure.

Of course, there were exceptions, such as those currently being targeted by the Gatling Vulcan Cannon.

As the rain-like barrage of bullets swept over the members of the Bee Swarm Killer organization, many of them were sliced in two as if by a chainsaw.

Within this underground space, despite these assassins being well-trained and immediately seeking cover, there was no cover to be found in this vast underground hall.

As for using their comrades' bodies as shields, that was a laughable notion. Although this Gatling was a mini model, firing 7.62mm rounds, these machine gun bullets were different from ordinary ones. They were longer, with more propellant and specially designed warheads.

A single bullet fired from it, after passing through three bodies, still possessed enough kinetic energy to incapacitate its target.

In a mere few tens of seconds, the thousands of rounds carried by Ling Tian were unleashed, leaving no one intact in the hall except for him.

Gazing at the ground littered with hot shell casings, the still-spinning gun barrel motor, and the hellish scene before him, Ling Tian felt no remorse for his handiwork.

Even Buddhism espoused the idea that killing evildoers was an act of goodness. The assassins of the Bee Swarm Killer organization before him were all blood-stained; they deserved their deaths!

Eliminating such individuals was not only free of sin but a supreme merit.

Ling Tian was no saint, and killing was not something that bothered him. However, Ling Tian had been taught from a young age not to harm the innocent.

But these individuals before him, who treated killing and taking lives as a business, were something Ling Tian could not accept. Hence, he had initiated the killing from the outset.

With a thought, Ling Tian recalled the Gatling machine gun and the shell casings into his spiritual realm.

The retrieval of the casings was twofold: firstly, to avoid leaving any loose ends, as the Vulcan Cannon was not a common weapon, and a diligent investigator might indeed uncover something from these casings.

Secondly, Ling Tian intended to take these casings to Dr. Heinrich for reloading and to replace the warheads with silver ones.

Ling Tian turned, and with another flash of thought, a Smith & Wesson M500 Hand Cannon appeared in his left hand, while a 40-round magazine MP7 submachine gun was in his right.

Before coming here, he had already formulated a plan to leave no survivors, and it was evident that there were still many stragglers in this underground space.

Ling Tian concentrated his true essence in his eyes, activating his Heavenly Eye divine ability. Soon, all situations within a fifty-meter radius centered on Ling Tian appeared in his vision.

He walked along the corridor, the scene behind each door becoming clear. Then, Ling Tian would raise his hand and fire a shot, sending the assassins hiding behind doors to their next destination, which was undoubtedly hell.

Although the assassins of the Bee Swarm Killer organization were all rigorously trained and familiar with the terrain, attempting to ambush and sneak attack Ling Tian, his Heavenly Eye divine ability was akin to using an aimbot in shooting games like PUBG.

Unless one was incredibly unskilled, it was difficult to defeat an opponent using cheats.

Soon, Ling Tian cleared the first and second underground levels, eliminating the remaining dozen or so assassins one by one.

When he arrived at the third underground level, he discovered that everyone there was already dead, their throats slit. Ling Tian recognized the wounds and understood what had happened.

Shortly after, Ahri appeared before Ling Tian, her claw blades still dripping blood. It was evident that this was the work of the cat demon.

"Ahri, how did you get down here?" Ling Tian asked curiously.

"I searched everywhere upstairs and found that this underground base only had one exit.

However, I discovered a very well-hidden ventilation shaft, so I jumped down, and ended up all the way on the third underground level..."

Underground facilities like this were required to have ventilation shafts, otherwise, so many people would quickly deplete the oxygen, turning it into a massive tomb.

Of course, for safety reasons, the ventilation shafts were designed to be narrow, with the widest part being no more than half a meter. It was difficult for humans to enter the underground base through such a confined space.

But this did not deter Ahri. She immediately transformed back into her original form, a large white cat with a black tail, and slipped into the ventilation shaft, heading downwards until she reached this underground space.

What followed was a one-sided hunt. Ahri, utilizing her spatial abilities, moved between different rooms. Before the assassins could even comprehend what was happening, their throats were slit by Ahri.

"Ling Tian, I found some good stuff."

Ahri said, leading Ling Tian to a room containing several large servers.

"There's a lot of information in this computer. I suspect the details of their killer organization are all inside, and I think this information might be useful to you."

"Haha, Ahri, you're such a little genius!"

Ling Tian happily patted Ahri's head. Ahri squinted her eyes, thoroughly enjoying Ling Tian's affection.

Ling Tian understood the importance of the data within these computers, which included the personnel and assets of the Bee Swarm Killer organization hidden elsewhere, as well as the assassination missions they had carried out over the years. This secret information alone was incredibly valuable!

Ling Tian stepped forward, and with a thought, all the computers and servers in the room vanished. Immediately after, the lighting in the entire underground base went out, but the dim emergency lighting system was quickly activated.

This was because all the electrical facilities of the underground base were controlled by the equipment in this room.

Next, Ling Tian, with Ahri, entered the fourth underground level via the spiritual realm.

Upon arrival, both Ling Tian and Ahri were stunned. This place was filled with enormous warehouses!

Neither Ling Tian nor Ahri had expected the fourth level of the underground base to be filled with warehouses.

Looking at these warehouses, Ling Tian was so excited he almost jumped. Gutteres had been operating his killer organization for over 20 years, accumulating substantial wealth.

More than half of these warehouses were filled with weapons. Almost every renowned firearm from countries around the world could be found here, along with a vast quantity of ammunition.

Not only firearms, but even weapons like rocket launchers, recoilless rifles, and mortars could be found here.
