Chapter 1128 Bombarding Pirates

Captain Sven Song looked at Aurora Kuite.

“Ms. Aurora, how should we deal with the remaining ship?”

“These people are detestable. I think sinking them to feed the fish is more environmentally friendly!” Aurora said coldly.

This woman, nicknamed the “Ice Goddess,” was no saint.

“Alright, I’ll send them to see the Sea God,” Sven Song said.

“Wait, we can’t let them die so easily. Before that, we should figure out why they appeared here!” Ling Tian reminded him.

Captain Sven Song nodded.

“Mr. Ling Tian is right. Today’s situation is indeed a bit strange. Pirates usually only appear in groups of three or four ships when robbing vessels.

Having nearly 20 ships appear at once is not normal!”

The group quickly reached a consensus. Ten minutes later, the Ice Queen arrived about 3,000 meters from the Abubakar.

At this moment, Captain Sven Song noticed that the enemy’s turrets seemed to be rotating!

“Aim at the enemy ship’s turrets and fire!”

Captain Sven Song, well aware of the principle of striking first, quickly ordered his men to open fire. The cannons at the front of the Ice Queen began to roar with fury.

The cannons on this ship were very advanced, equipped not only with optical aiming but also with a highly sophisticated fire control radar. The first shot landed on the deck of the Abubakar, killing several of the panicked pirates on the deck.

The second shot, an armor-piercing shell, directly hit the Abubakar’s forward turret!

The armor-piercing shell penetrated the turret’s protection and detonated other shells inside, causing a chain reaction. With a loud bang, the turret, weighing tens of tons, was blown more than 10 meters into the air by the explosion before crashing heavily into the sea.

Following that, the cannons on the Ice Queen continued to attack the Abubakar. All the cannons on the Abubakar, including the few missile launchers that were merely for show, were blown away, and the entire ship was engulfed in flames.

Soon, the high temperature from the fire damaged the ship’s structure, and the Abubakar began to sink. However, as the ship was situated on a reef, it did not sink completely.

Ling Tian looked at the sea through his binoculars. He noticed pirates jumping into the sea like dumplings. However, two lifeboats had also been lowered from the ship.

One of these two lifeboats had a white flag, which was actually a white bedsheet, quite in the style of the Gauls.

This lifeboat, flying a white flag, sailed towards the Ice Queen, while the other lifeboat fled at full speed in the opposite direction.

The lifeboat was incredibly fast, but Captain Sven Song was not worried at all, as he knew that no matter how fast a lifeboat was, it couldn’t outrun artillery!

“Aim at the escaping lifeboat and sink it!”

“Boom!”

The 105mm naval gun on the Ice Queen unleashed its power. Although the first shot missed, the shell landed in the water only about 10 meters away from the small boat. The huge waves generated by the shell’s explosion almost capsized the lifeboat.

With the landing point of the first shell as a reference, the ship’s fire control computer quickly adjusted the shell’s trajectory. Ten seconds later, the second shell was loaded, and with a roar, it flew out of the cannon.

This was not an armor-piercing shell but a high-explosive fragmentation shell. The shell hit the small boat directly, causing a violent explosion that blew the lifeboat into pieces. Clearly, there were no survivors on board!

Many pirates were still floating in the water, but Ling Tian and his companions had no intention of caring about their lives. These people were scum, and their deaths were insignificant!

Soon, a small boat was lowered from the Ice Queen, and a group of soldiers, armed and ready, secured the lifeboat. They then brought one person from the lifeboat onto the Ice Queen.

The person brought aboard was the leader of these pirates, Abubakar.

The fact that this man had managed to gather his current forces indicated that he possessed some ability; at the very least, he knew when to back down in the face of a formidable opponent.

Abubakar was terrified. He had never witnessed such a horrifying scene before. A massive whirlpool that suddenly appeared in the sea had swallowed nearly 20 of his ships.

Those ships were smashed to pieces in the whirlpool, and not a single one of the thousands of crew members on board survived.

Coupled with the subsequent bombardment, Abubakar had completely lost the will to resist.

Therefore, he raised the white flag and surrendered to Ling Tian and his group. Even if it meant enduring humiliation or losing most of his wealth, there was no other option. This was the only way Abubakar believed he could survive!

At this moment, on the helicopter platform at the stern of the Ice Queen, the helicopter had landed and been pulled back into the hangar.

The drone was still circling in the sky, searching for any stragglers. Abubakar was brought before Ling Tian and his companions.

Abubakar looked up and saw Ling Tian and Aurora in the crowd. His pupils contracted sharply because, from Ling Tian’s standing position and the aura he exuded, Abubakar knew that Ling Tian held a significant position within this team.

Before the escorts behind him could make a move, Abubakar dropped to his knees with a thud and then shuffled on his knees towards Ling Tian and Aurora.

“I am Abubakar. Please forgive my presumption. Is there some misunderstanding between us…”

Despite being a pirate leader, Abubakar’s English was very fluent, with a pure London accent.

This guy was not simple; he had studied abroad in Britain, and now everything required culture, even being a pirate leader.

“Misunderstanding? I don’t think so. Nearly 20 of your ships ambushed our vessel, then pursued, and even fired upon and launched rockets at our ship!

I don’t believe this was a misunderstanding!” It was Ling Tian who spoke, his eyes fixed on Abubakar, his gaze seeming to pierce through Abubakar’s body and straight into his heart.

“I… I… I admit, I was blinded by greed. I intended to rob your ship, but then…”

Abubakar dared not admit his true intentions. If the person in front of him knew he was here to assassinate him, he would probably be thrown into the sea to feed the fish immediately.
