Chapter 212: Third Proposal

Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Third Proposal

Victoria wept with emotion as she gazed at the beauty of the flower garden, which looked even more perfect than before the storm that destroyed it. Now the garden was once again adorned with a romantic atmosphere, and she suspected Matthias had been preparing for this for a long time. Furthermore, his third proposal made her heart flutter even more.

"Tory, do you like this flower garden?"

Victoria nodded happily as she gazed around the colorful lights. "Did you decorate this flower garden?"

"It’s a very long story. I’ll tell you everything when we get back to the resort. But right now, I want to give you a special gift that will last a lifetime."

"You’ve already proposed to me twice. Now you’re proposing to me in a unique way again." Victoria briefly wiped her eyes, which were flooded with happy tears. "You proposing to me twice is enough for me."

"But it’s still not enough for me because we’ve already signed divorce papers. Now I’ve learned my lesson and don’t want to repeat it. After I proposed to you for the third time, I don’t want to have to sign divorce papers again. I’m determined not to make you cry like I did before. Besides, everyone supports our relationship now, including all your employees."

"Matthias, what other ring are you going to give me? Aren’t you tired of having people make rings for me?"

"No. I never get tired of surprising you."

"Matty..."

"Victoria, I’ve grown to like you even though I made you angry a while ago. I’ve never hated you because I can’t. Even though I’ve said I hate you several times, it’s just an act."

Victoria laughed gracefully, stroking her husband’s cheek. "I know. I actually think you’re a terrible liar. Every time you tell a lie, your voice always trembles, as if you feel your sin is so great."

"Yes, that’s how I felt when I divorced you. When I signed the divorce papers, I felt like I was going to hell."

"Now I’m determined to be yours forever. I can’t bear to see you kneeling in front of me all the time. You’ll bruise your knees."

Matthias laughed happily as he wiped his wife’s wet cheeks. "And I haven’t even asked you if you want to marry me yet? It turns out you moved faster than I did."

"Of course, before someone else tries to steal you away again." Victoria held out her right hand. "I can’t wait to wear your new ring."

Matthias immediately got up and removed the engagement ring his wife was still wearing. He then put on the newly made engagement ring, signifying that their relationship was starting anew. All the bad memories that had haunted them had now been erased.

Victoria passionately kissed her husband on the lips, wrapping her arms around his neck, causing a rose to fall to the ground. Their lip play was now quite aggressive, especially with the addition of several drones forming a heart in the sky. She could feel the sincerity of her husband’s love now as his tongue explored his mouth.

Having had enough of kissing her husband, she slowly released her lips and then wiped her husband’s lips which were a little wet because she had devoured him a little too much.

Matthias also laughed happily, seeing his wife’s special smile. He leaned on his hands to lift her tiny body as he twirled around in place.

"Matthias, let’s do it later. I’m so embarrassed to be seen by others!" Although Victoria complained, she admitted that she really enjoyed being carried by her husband.

"It’s okay. Besides, they also come to this garden with their partners, except for my mother and grandfather."

"By the way, how long have you been preparing all this? I’m sure you’ve been preparing for months."

"Actually, since we went to Yanmang at that time and the flower garden was closed."

Victoria widened her eyes. "What? Does that mean the T&H Group is rebuilding this flower garden?"

Matthias nodded. "Do you remember when I said there was a project I would work on to the best of my ability? The project I was referring to was this flower garden project."

"But, why don’t you think about turning this flower garden into a hotel or apartment?"

"Do I look like a jerk CEO who only cares about his own profits?" His lips landed on hers. "Actually, I can’t bear the thought of this flower garden being used as a profit-seeking farm by businessmen. That’s why, before they all scrambled to convert the land, I took it first."

Tears of joy streamed down her cheeks. She kissed her beloved husband deeply on the lips, then his cheek. "I always knew you were the best CEO of all. That’s why I fell in love with you so easily and wanted to be your wife. I really wanted this marriage."

"Besides, I’ve been thinking about you every time I’ve visited this flower garden. Last time, you were so enthusiastic when we were on our date here before the storm. Then, when the storm destroyed this flower garden, you looked so desperate. So, I don’t want to see you sad again just because I can’t do anything."

"Thank you, Matthias. Since you came into my life, my life has been filled with happiness."

Matthias lowered his wife’s body for a moment and then took her hand. "Since it’s still early afternoon, why don’t we take a few more walks around? I’ve taken the trouble to plan everything for you."

"But why did you invite all our closest friends? You even invited your grandfather and mother."

"Because without their support, our relationship wouldn’t have gotten to where it is today. So, as a reward, I’m also giving them a free vacation."

Victoria and Matthias strolled leisurely through the flower garden, waving their arms happily. Now all their closest friends were throwing flower petals as they passed. Victoria felt the atmosphere in the flower garden now resembled a wedding venue. She was increasingly impatient to prepare for her wedding with Matthias. Would Matthias have an even more special surprise than this?
