Afterword

Concluding Remarks.

Well... yes, this book has concluded. Over 2.6 million characters, more than a thousand chapters, not an insignificant amount.

From its serialization in March 2019 until now, it's been about a year and a half.

I feel it hasn't ended prematurely.

Because I never intended to write the inner world plot.

When do you readers typically abandon a book?

I personally tend to drop a book when the setting changes. Because a setting change is essentially like a new book.

New characters, new locations, new plot, new conflicts, new enemies.

Aside from the original protagonist, everything else is new.

Since everything is new, why wouldn't I write a new book?

Of course, I did speed up the pace later on, and could have added more smaller side plots.

But I didn't think it would be interesting. Firstly, it's because of the performance. This book's performance wasn't particularly good. When I decided to speed up the progress, it was precisely when subscriptions plummeted.

Secondly, as the protagonist grew stronger and his abilities increased, ordinary cases could be crushed directly. Writing about such overwhelming victories has little plot.

Everyone finds monotonous sweep-through dungeons boring, and I also find writing them boring. As for cases that require his full effort... if there were that many such cases, Earth wouldn't have survived this long.

Writing the later content was quite tiring, so I'll stop here. I think this is fine.

This book ends here.

Thank you, esteemed readers, for your support, and thank you to my editor, Lan Guang, for his help.

After being serialized for nearly two years, I feel no reluctance at its conclusion, only liberation.

Without the readers' support, I definitely wouldn't have been able to persevere.

Finally, please don't lecture me in the concluding remarks. Everything you say is right, but at the time of the finale, I want to be happy.

*Crosses arms and laughs heartily.*

Well... that's about it. It seems there's not much else to say, hahaha.

Oh, right, there might be a few side stories later on, I can't say for sure.

Additionally, I'd like to recommend my new book, "Gui Yi Fen Jie Zhi Nan" (Guide to Decomposing the Strange).

He Shan unexpectedly discovered a worn-out meat grinder in his shop. As He Shan grinned and fed one strange creature after another into the meat grinder, he realized his artistic style could no longer go back.

Decomposing the Jade Queen: Obtained one ability crystal, one original flavor pillow, one soul doll...

Decomposing a Ghost: Obtained a portion of spiritual essence powder, a portion of resentment crystals, one ghost ornament...

Decomposing a Zombie: Obtained a portion of rotten meat, one dirty shroud, one bottle of zombie poison...

Decomposing a Cat Demon: Obtained a set of cat-girl cosplay outfits, a box of crispy cat ears...

When human hearts are aberrant, fiends are born.

When societal morals decay, strange objects run rampant!
