Huan Meng Lie Ren

Chapter 1193 Eternal Exile

Everything around them had been leveled, and two figures clashed fiercely.

The tree where Wen Wen sat, however, remained undamaged, as neither of the combatants wished to draw the fight towards Wen Wen.

Wen Wen set up a table before him, grabbed a handful of coffee beans, and began processing them with one hand while observing this cataclysmic battle.

Peeling, roasting, grinding… soon, these beans turned to powder. Wen Wen then waved his hand, conjuring a stream of water, mixing the powder with it, and rapidly bringing it to a boil.

Even without professional tools, accomplishing all this was effortless for Wen Wen.

However, the coffee beans Wen Wen used were merely good, not top-tier.

At some point, the federation’s coffee industry had gone down a crooked path, becoming inextricably linked with “shit.”

It all started with a small animal called a civet. After eating coffee cherries, it would excrete whole coffee beans. These beans, after some extremely unhygienic processing, were ultimately made into the finest “civet coffee.”

Civet coffee possessed a very unique flavor, thus it was highly sought after.

Well… it was merely unique, not delicious.

This unique flavor, in Wen Wen’s opinion, was quite simple, much like how the rehydrated enoki mushrooms excreted by humans didn’t taste the same as fresh ones.

Due to the popularity of civet coffee, the federation’s top coffees were now all related to excrement, with names like elephant dung coffee, bat dung coffee, and so on – utterly revolting.

In any case, Wen Wen, watching from the sidelines, was quite content, even able to enjoy his coffee peacefully.

Watching the two nearly beat each other to a pulp, listening to the violent sounds that tore through the air, and savoring the coffee he had personally ground was a peculiar kind of enjoyment.

Both individuals were giving their all, their fight creating upheavals akin to collapsing mountains and shattering earth. Each punch and kick carried immense power.

However, after a certain point, both realized that continuing in this manner was futile.

Jingji displayed exceptional control over his abilities. The shockwaves that could shatter space were immensely powerful, but he had only recently advanced, still somewhat inexperienced in cataclysmic level combat.

As for Hou Qing, he possessed simple, robust physical strength and resilience. Though his abilities didn’t appear particularly outstanding, his offensive and defensive fortitude was enough to give most peers a headache.

Relying on his extensive combat experience, Hou Qing could occasionally gain the upper hand. But whenever he was about to gain an advantage, Wen Wen would toy with his black saber.

Sometimes Wen Wen would caress the blade, other times he would flick the tip, or even perform the ‘Electric Light Poison Dragon Drill’ with the black saber. The mere sight of Wen Wen’s actions would inexplicably make Hou Qing’s backside clench.

With things reaching this stage, Hou Qing began to harbor thoughts of retreat. If another powerful individual were to appear, he might not even have a chance to escape.

Thus, he advised Jingji, “Give it up, kid. After fighting for so long, you should have realized I’m a bit stronger than you. If that guy hadn’t been causing trouble, I would have beaten you long ago.”

“But even with that guy messing with my head, you still don’t have the ability to kill me, so just give up.”

Jingji Kongluo took two steps back and smiled at Hou Qing, “You’re right, so… big brother, come help me, I’ve had enough fun!”

Wen Wen put down his coffee cup, stood up, gripped his black saber, and stood beside Jingji.

He still had a few minutes left of his cataclysmic state for the day, and teaming up with Jingji Kongluo to deal with Hou Qing should be enough.

Jingji tilted his head and said to Wen Wen, “Big brother, your full output will be sufficient for a moment. I’ll coordinate with you.”

Wen Wen glanced at Jingji curiously. Was this guy planning to have him fight Hou Qing to the death while he sat out?

The cataclysmic state could only be maintained for a short duration, so Wen Wen didn’t want to waste it. The containment facility’s energy once again enveloped the black saber.

He just needed a way to get close enough to Hou Qing to inflict significant damage.

“Big brother, my assistance has begun. Be ready.”

Wen Wen nodded, and suddenly found himself in front of Hou Qing. He quickly swung his long saber at Hou Qing, leaving a deep gash on Hou Qing’s chest.

Hou Qing was enraged, bone spurs growing from his palm. As he tried to counterattack, he found Wen Wen had already returned to Jingji’s side.

Wen Wen looked at Jingji Kongluo in surprise, “So this is what you meant by coordination.”

Jingji chuckled, “If I don’t engage in combat myself, my ability control level increases severalfold. Big brother, just fight to your heart’s content.”

Wen Wen grinned menacingly at Hou Qing, preparing for another attack, then was instantly transported behind Hou Qing and delivered another blow, creating another deep wound.

The best assistance was that which went unnoticed. Thus, Wen Wen quickly adapted to this combat style, leaving several wounds on Hou Qing.

Jingji’s ability, though seemingly a spatial ability, was in fact a rather high-level power.

At least, the instantaneous movement achieved through spatial transfer was incomparable to Jingji’s ability.

Teleportation required no time for the movement itself, but there was a slight stiffness in the preparation and follow-up phases. Moreover, in high-level combat, powerful individuals could disrupt the surrounding space at any moment, which was extremely fatal in cataclysmic level battles.

But Jingji’s ability was instantaneous, and even if the nearby space was disrupted, his ability could still be used.

Soon, Hou Qing became covered in wounds, appearing like a live target before Wen Wen and Jingji. Even if he tried to escape, it was difficult, as Jingji could also drag Hou Qing back from a distance.

There was not a whole piece of intact flesh on his body; he was covered in torn wounds. In the face of that black saber, his body was more fragile than tofu.

However, what Wen Wen found troublesome was that Hou Qing’s vitality was perhaps too resilient.

Even though he was on the verge of being cut into pieces by the black saber, he still maintained vigorous vitality, preventing Wen Wen from pulling him into the containment facility.

Seeing that his transformation time was nearing its end, Wen Wen felt a sense of urgency.

If Hou Qing wasn’t subdued by then, he might be the one needing to run.

Then, Jingji stepped forward, no longer providing assistance to Wen Wen. A cracked sphere appeared in his hand. Due to this sphere, strange cracks spread all over Jingji’s body, making him look somewhat frightening.

“No wonder he was assisting me earlier; he was preparing a big move himself.”

Jingji erased a portion of space, positioning himself behind Hou Qing, and took a deep breath before saying, “I truly cannot kill you, but I can banish you forever!”

He pressed the sphere in his hand against Hou Qing’s back. Innumerable cracks appeared, eventually forming a passage the size of a person.

Hou Qing was sucked into the passage. Several hands, exuding a terrifying aura, tried to reach out from the passage, but the passage suddenly vanished, and those hands retracted to their rightful places…
