One by one, colossal monsters crawled out from the cave entrance.
The smallest of these monsters were over a hundred meters in size, resembling moving mountains.
Their forms varied, with some resembling giant lizards, others massive insects, and still others were huge apes, octopi, and elephants.
Federal military aircraft flew overhead, firing missiles at the monsters, but conventional weapons had no effect on them.
When attacked, a peculiar energy shield would appear outside their bodies, capable of blocking powerful assaults.
After emerging, the monsters crawled in all directions, uprooting mountains and felling trees, altering the very landscape.
Their targets were cities. They did not need to cause widespread destruction; simply walking through a city was enough to wreak immense havoc.
Without the New Human Plan, these monsters merely needed to pass through each city once to collapse the order of the real world.
But now, they needed to do more to ensure the complete breakdown of order.
A gigantic claw extended from the cave entrance, followed by a monster far larger than any of the previous ones crawling out.
This creature resembled a giant, featherless bird, standing nearly two hundred meters tall on the ground, with a wingspan of at least seven hundred meters. Its head bore crown-like horns.
Upon bathing in sunlight, golden feathers quickly sprouted all over the great bird.
The golden giant bird flapped its wings, instantly soaring into the sky several thousand meters high. Its feather dust rained down, causing widespread explosions.
These explosions completely devastated the land for several kilometers around. This was not an intentional attack by the great bird, but merely a leakage of its normal power. Wherever it flew, its feather dust would cause destruction.
It was a divine being from ancient earth, the king of all giant monsters, the supreme Dragon of Annihilation, Galantor.
These giant monsters appeared before humanity’s birth, a time when the Earth was filled with chaotic energy storms.
Back then, only these powerful life forms could survive. As the Earth gradually stabilized, the energy density was no longer sufficient to sustain these behemoths.
They slumbered in the Silent Abyss, using their last vestiges of strength to create a place suitable for their deep rest.
The Great Sage’s method of awakening them was simple: he informed them that the current era was once again suitable for their survival.
The earth was teeming with countless weak life forms that could sustain them, and the endless power from the inner world would allow them to maintain their peak combat capabilities.
Then, the Great Sage stole the Nest of Destruction and used the monsters generated by it as food for these behemoths, allowing them to rapidly regain strength from the weakness of their long slumber.
“Go forth, great Galantor, you were once the king of this world, and now it is time to reclaim your throne.”
Looking at these colossal beasts, the Great Sage smiled gleefully, anticipating the end these behemoths would bring to the world.
Suddenly, the Great Sage’s expression turned somewhat peculiar:
“Tch, he found out, didn’t he? Should I go eliminate him…”
“Never mind, what does it matter now if everything is exposed…”
“The only ones who can stop me now are the Association President who cannot descend from the heavens, and the great sea creature who cannot awaken from the water.”
“That old fellow from the Glorious Church also has the strength, but he has been abandoned by his god. I have already tied the Glorious Church to my chariot; if he dares to act against me, his god will kill him first!”
“In this world, I am invincible!”
The Great Sage’s expression became increasingly distorted, and his speech began to turn incoherent.
“Mmm… Hmph-hmph, Hahaha, Haha…”
“Let’s all go to hell, Hahaha…”
…
After the monsters appeared, the entire world erupted.
These terrifying behemoths, seemingly slow in their movements, were actually incredibly fast.
Starting from the Kangaroo Continent, they swiftly appeared all over the world, prompting strong counterattacks from the Federal Army and the Hunter Association, but all to no avail.
Anything in their path was ultimately destroyed.
Whether it were planes and tanks, missiles and mines, or even super-bombs produced by the Dark Knight, they were all blocked by these colossal creatures.
They were not monsters born from superpower in the conventional sense, but natural creatures with infinite energy aggregated within their bodies.
The monsters’ bodies were protected by a powerful bio-force field, which could easily block all attacks directed at them.
Even a True Order-level super-user could only restrain these monsters but not break through their defenses when facing them.
These creatures appeared for only one day, yet they plunged the world into chaos. Countless citizens were displaced, and many lost their lives. The speed at which the Association evacuated the public was far slower than the monsters’ advance.
The most troublesome aspect was that monsters from the Nest of Destruction also followed in the wake of these behemoths, seizing the opportunity to cause widespread destruction.
If this were a special effects film, these creatures would typically be confronted by light giants who wore no clothes.
But in reality, only Cataclysm-level powerhouses could be deployed.
Wen Wen received a commission from the Hunter Association. His eyelids slightly lifted, and a black crescent moon flew out from beside his ear, spinning and enlarging before gently lifting Wen Wen and swiftly flying in a direction.
After flying for a few minutes, Wen Wen saw a colossal silhouette slowly walking towards him.
It was a massive lizard walking upright, its tail swinging and sweeping away some of the surrounding buildings.
Long Suo, a True Order super-user, along with several other super-users, was engaging this colossal monster.
Wen Wen did not attack immediately but observed for a while.
In just a few minutes, he had figured out the essence of these monsters.
These monsters were enormous, astonishingly heavy, and surprisingly agile for their size, but that was all.
Their internal energy levels were astonishing, but their skill in using it was crude; they merely spat out raw power, making their combat ability negligible.
This was evident from the fact that none of the super-users surrounding it were even injured.
However, the troublesome part was the outer energy defense of these monsters – the bio-force field they had evolved to counter the chaotic energy storms of ancient times.
This bio-force field could automatically resist all attacks that threatened the monsters with minimal energy expenditure.
Without a doubt, this bio-force field could be considered a Cataclysm-level defense!
