Chapter 536 – Aiko and The Goddess of the Moon
"More blood." While Moon Aiko was disgusted, she also understood that this was a good opportunity to refine even more things.

'Small abode?' Moon Aiko tilted her head. There was grass everywhere, with Herbs, and a small wooden house. To the left of it was a large, beautiful pond with clear water.
Moon Aiko was confused, as this place was not on the Table Map. Well, it was, but on the Table Map, it didn't show any structures or ponds, even when she saw them with her own eyes.
Using her abilities to see through things. This place did not change at all, which unsettled Aiko even more. This place looked pristine, untouched by blood or tentacles.
It was strange, especially when there was a small, quiet spring river coming from the direction of the monster and into this pond.
Cautiously approaching this place, Moon Aiko looked around as she readied her [Moon's Crust] if she felt something was wrong. With her current defence, she should be able to deal with it, but this was still the outer part of the Nightmare Forest and not the peripheral part.
Moon Aiko nodded her head gently as she caressed the grass. It felt normal, natural, scarily so.
Cautiously walking around, she heard a cough.
Moon Aiko almost jumped as her eyes trained on the thing that made that sound.
"I didn't think you would be so greedy as to rob even more of my holiday resorts." A familiar figure giggled.
"It's the tea lady." Moon Aiko remembered this lady, since she was the same lady who gave her the [Crescent Moon Tea Set].
"I would rather you call me Goddess of the Moon." She chuckled. "What brings you here?"
"I was looking for some kind of base." Moon Aiko replied, but she was still on guard. Her eyes never showed her anything strange, but that didn't mean this place wouldn't be strange.
"How did you find this place? I thought I hid it well..." The Goddess of the Moon sighed gently.
"By accident." Moon Aiko shrugged. She wouldn't explore this place if not for that tentacle thing.
"Really?" The Goddess of the Moon narrowed her eyes, but she didn't really press for answers.
"That tentacle thingy?" Moon Aiko pointed back to where the tentacle thing was.
"It gives good massages and its blood is very nourishing. It's called the Heavenly Blood Tree. Its fruits are a tonic that you can eat from time to time." The Goddess of the Moon explained, since she knew that if she didn't, Aiko would definitely do something about it.
"The stream?" Moon Aiko pointed at the oddity.
"While the Blood Fruits are red in nature, once they get far enough away from the tree, they will turn into nourishing water." The Goddess of the Moon smiled.
"... Why can't I see anything here?" Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes.
"Because I have concealed Heaven's Secrets. Allowing this place to hide from everyone, even Heavenly Dao." The Goddess of the Moon didn't want that filthy peeper to stare at her body.
"The corpse?" Moon Aiko talked about the corpse in the entrance.
"The Heavenly Blood Tree needs nourishment- Ah, if you mean the corpse in the entrance, that's to drive pests away, so that the Heavenly Blood Tree is not disturbed as much." The Goddess of the Moon smiled.
"How much does it nourish the body?" Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes.

The Goddess of the Moon's lips twitched. She never imagined Aiko would even steal the dirt under it! But this was for the better as their quality didn't drop one bit, and they had mostly natural dirt, meaning they could be transplanted more easily.
Aiko paused while gazing at her.
"You are really something. You didn't even leave the dirt behind..." The Goddess of the Moon giggled.
"It's easier to take all of it instead of carefully trying to scoop the Herb." Moon Aiko shrugged.
"Seriously." The Goddess of the Moon shook her head as those Herbs suddenly disappeared.
"Do you have any flower-" The Goddess of the Moon shut her mouth as this little rascal coughed up dozens of different flower types. "Why did I even ask..." It was obvious that this little thieving Fox would have them.
"Here." The flowers disappeared with the dirt, and a single seedling in a small planter appeared. It didn't look too well, but it was of the same lineage as the Tree outside.

Moon Aiko was curious about its state.
"There are certain beings that exist in unique situations. Those beings are unable to copulate, as it would spell disaster for everyone. The Heavenly Blood Tree is one such being. They can't survive if there is another Heavenly Blood Tree still alive." The Goddess of the Moon said gently. "However, I have already watched your journey for a long time, and you can definitely make this work." She smiled gently.

"Hmmmm..." Moon Aiko observed the seedling. It was more energetic than the tree outside once it came in close contact with Aiko.

"I swear, only you can do this because of your seriously oversized storage. Anyone else would be happy with just the Herbs..." Was this really a headache she was feeling? It had been some time since she, as the Goddess of the Moon, felt such a headache.
"You don't want it?" Moon Aiko tilted her head, but before she finished, that dirt disappeared.
"Of course, I want it." The Goddess of the Moon was speechless, but she would never reject gifts.
"You can use this place, just please don't wreck it." The Goddess of the Moon warned and pleaded with Aiko, since this place was precious.
"Of course." Moon Aiko nodded.
"You can also have a bath over there, before moving into that pond." The Goddess of the Moon pointed at the pinkish pond.
"Why there?" Moon Aiko tilted her head.
"You are too dirty, and that pond is used to clean off the filth. Afterwards, you can use that pond to truly enjoy the bathing." The Goddess of the Moon explained how it worked.
"It's not some kind of weird jelly that would cling to your body, right?" Moon Aiko could swear that pinkish stuff moved just now!
"How did you know?" The Goddess of the Moon tilted her head. She was startled that Aiko could tell.
"It would be worse if I couldn't tell..." Moon Aiko rolled her eyes.
"True..." The Goddess of the Moon nodded her head. "It won't cling to you, so don't worry-" Even before finishing her words, Aiko was already cleaning her tails by hand.
"No way I will step into that, I'm not a pervert." Moon Aiko openly called the Goddess of the Moon a pervert.
"Wha-?!" The Goddess of the Moon was shocked that she was called like that!
"I'm not a pervert!" She glared at Aiko.

"Definitely." Moon Aiko didn't deny it. "But I'm not at that point yet, so I can make fun of you and call you out." She shrugged like a mischievous Fox.
"You-!" The Goddess of the Moon was flabbergasted. Was this the reason why so many individuals followed her journey? All of them were damn perverts!
Moon Aiko snorted gently before cleaning her tails some more.
The briefcase with tools from Li Xiu came in handy right now, as Aiko didn't need to clean everything by hand.
Combs, fur brushes and many other wonderful tools were inside this thing. They were also of different sizes and thickness.
"Someone really dotes on you, huh." The Goddess of the Moon commented on the quality of the briefcase.
"Yeah, she is nice." Moon Aiko nodded her head. Li Xiu was cute and nice, but what was the funniest about her were her conflicted feelings.
Moon Aiko knew that Li Xiu was not into girls, but Aiko's beauty made her twist and squirm.
Thus, Li Xiu was quite lost in her way, making this quite a funny situation.
