Chapter 325: Chapter 325: Having Marital Life in Broad Daylight
"What important things could you possibly have? It’s the weekend, no classes to attend," Zoe Baxter was baffled.
"Don’t worry about it, today just won’t work," Summer Sutton played it vague.
Zoe Baxter was stunned for a while, and then suddenly shrieked, "Are you having married life activities? In broad daylight... is that really okay for you two?"
Summer Sutton indeed was having married life.
But not the kind unsuitable for minors.
"Shut up!" She snapped at Zoe Baxter, feeling incredibly embarrassed and blushing.
"Okay, okay, I get it! It’s not convenient to visit, right? We’re all adults here, understood, hanging up now, you guys carry on!"
"It’s not like that!" Summer Sutton tried to explain, but what she got in return was the busy tone beeping from the other end.
Zoe Baxter had already hung up.
Summer Sutton, "..."
That cheeky girl!
She tossed her phone aside, wanting to continue her nap, but found Adrian Walyon staring at her.
His gaze was deep and intriguingly curious as if stars were twinkling in his dark eyes.
"Why didn’t you go?" Slowly, he asked.
Summer Sutton was caught off guard by his question.
After stammering for a while, she raised her face and pretended to be calm, "I think it’s quite nice being at home."
Being with him like this felt pretty good too.
Adrian Walyon’s look seemed to become even deeper.
Summer Sutton suddenly felt nervous being watched by him.
Not daring to meet his eyes, she turned away and abruptly stood up.
"I’ll prepare lunch, let’s have steak!" She tossed out the words and quickly headed to the kitchen.
She left rather hastily, as if avoiding something.
After diving into the kitchen, she only emerged at lunchtime.
The two solved lunch simply, and Summer Sutton, bored, started tidying up the villa.
While organizing the bedroom, she saw her bag placed aside, fearing she might have left something forgotten in it, she dumped everything out and checked one by one.
Her bag was really simple, with only a lipstick, a set of keys, and a phone, not even carrying cards.
Summer Sutton was somewhat worried that the bag might contain a love letter or a gift she was unaware of.
After all, such things had happened quite a bit before.
Adrian Walyon stood with his arms crossed, silently watching her.
After watching for a while, he suddenly quipped, "What? Are there usually a lot of people sending gifts to Mrs. Walyon?"
Summer Sutton was stumped by his words, quickly shoving the bag’s contents behind her.
"It’s not like that!" Trying to keep her face composed, she quickly denied.
Such things, even if true, could you admit them?
"You better hope so," Adrian Walyon slowly walked towards her, glanced at the items behind her, and emphasized, "Next time I find out, once per sight, once per hand chopped!"
Summer Sutton shuddered, nodding stiffly, "Got it."
Adrian Walyon smirked coldly, then continued dealing with work matters.
...
Summer Sutton spent the entire day at Morning Garden with him, and at night, both stayed at Morning Garden as well.
Not knowing if he had cooled down, Adrian Walyon didn’t tell her to return to her room, so when sleeping, Summer Sutton wisely went to the guest room.
Just as she was about to sleep, the guest room door was pushed open, and Adrian Walyon walked in cold-faced.
Upon entering, he said nothing, stripped off his clothes, and fumbled into bed...
