Chapter 330: Chapter 330: Coming to Visit
Upon opening her eyes, she realized it was already so late. She remembered she still had to find Manager Yang today, and she hadn’t written the promised calligraphy yet, so she got up to wash up and then ate a little something.
After eating, Jiang Xue felt a bit more energetic, and only then did she drag her somewhat sore legs into the space. As soon as she entered, the Little Fox teasingly said, "Woman, what’s up with you?"
"Nothing much." Jiang Xue’s face flushed slightly, and she brushed it off with a sentence. She wouldn’t tell the Little Fox it was because of Mu Qiancheng.
"Tch, just because you don’t say doesn’t mean I don’t know," the Little Fox glanced at Jiang Xue, thinking to itself. It had been in Jiang Xue’s space all along, fully aware of what happened outside.
It’s just that it didn’t want to mention it, lest Jiang Xue goes ballistic.
Since it didn’t speak up, Jiang Xue naturally didn’t know. Though the two could communicate telepathically, if the Little Fox intended to hide something, Jiang Xue would naturally not guess it.
Moreover, Jiang Xue’s mind was elsewhere; she only wanted to finish the calligraphy order she received yesterday. Just as well, she didn’t have much money left, and once she completes this order, she’ll earn some more income.
Jiang Xue entered the space but didn’t immediately start writing. Instead, she went to her usual training spot. After an hour of training, she began writing in the study.
Her spiritual power had reached Level 5 through this period of training, making writing an effortless task.
But according to the Little Fox, if her spiritual power reached Level 10, she could also use it to heal others. As for how to heal, Jiang Xue still didn’t know.
She had asked the Little Fox before, but it was unwilling to tell her and said she should wait until her spiritual power reached Level 10.
Jiang Xue took an hour and a half to finish that piece of calligraphy. Additionally, due to her enhanced spiritual power, the calligraphy became more tasteful and more pleasant to look at.
Once the ink dried, Jiang Xue stored it away in a special calligraphy box, preparing to take it to Manager Yang in the afternoon.
She also selected a few more pieces, intending to ask Manager Yang to help sell them, and packed them in boxes, a total of six pieces.
After categorizing and packing them properly, Jiang Xue wrote a note and attached it on top. This way, it would be clear what each piece of calligraphy depicted without having to take them out.
With everything ready and seeing it was getting late, Jiang Xue took the calligraphy pieces out of the space.
Exiting the space, she took Little Reunion next door, planning to hit up her parents’ place for a meal. Nowadays, Jiang Xue didn’t have to worry about grocery shopping. Every morning, Mrs. Jiang would go out early to buy the groceries.
Unless Jiang Xue gave specific instructions, Mrs. Jiang always did the cooking.
Arriving at her parents’ home, Mrs. Jiang was already busy in the kitchen. Jiang Xue went in, handing Little Reunion to Father Jiang, then headed into the kitchen to help.
Half an hour later, the meal was ready and was laid out on the table. After the meal, Jiang Xue handed Little Reunion over to her parents and then took the calligraphy to find Manager Yang.
When she arrived, Manager Yang happened to be there. Jiang Xue handed over the calligraphy pieces and left immediately.
She also needed to visit the rental property and expected people to sign up that afternoon. Sure enough, not long after Jiang Xue arrived, someone came to her.
An elderly man and a child approached her.
Seeing Jiang Xue, the elderly man asked, "Are you Teacher Jiang? I heard you teach children calligraphy here, so I’ve brought my grandson to have a look."
