Beginning of Month Announcement for June 2016

After struggling with May Blues for a month, I managed to achieve perfect attendance.

Lately, I'm feeling like three days of paid leave for perfect attendance aren't enough, but the new challenge of June's perfect attendance is already here.

Of course, no matter what, the game will continue to be played until the book is finished. Don't worry, everyone; if you guys can make me number one in the category every month, I'll have the ability to update like this every month.

So, what's the situation for June...?

First of all, I went out to play a bit yesterday to celebrate Children's Day (as if I'm a child), so the first day of leave has already disappeared.

Secondly, *Second-Rate Detective and Cat* is still being serialized as a physical book extra; regarding this issue's story, I'm considering whether to write a case that's divided into three or even four parts, because the previous form of only dividing it into two parts always feels like the plot is a bit rushed.

Next, let's talk about the plot of *Thriller Paradise* this month.

The *Memories of Summer* scenario, which is already more than halfway through, was inspired by a room escape game I played last time, but the mechanisms and plots I've written are no longer very related to that room escape game...

Although there was a preview saying that this time I would write a scenario related to the main storyline, it seems that there's no room for the main storyline to intervene, so I decided... forget it.

I will strive to finish this scenario in early June, and then enter a solo scenario to advance the main storyline... at least, that's what I think now.

Right now, I'm mainly conceiving the plot of the Yu Chao League (Cosmos Super League)—regarding the hidden line in this "free exploration mode," I had already thought about how to fill the pit during the initial settings and had already laid the foreshadowing. My plan is... to have Feng Bujue return to this mode before autumn and close this storyline.

Okay, about the plot, what I want to say and can say... is just this much.

Do you guys feel that today's previews are more about the big plot planning?

In fact, this is normal, after all, the story of *Thriller Paradise* has entered its final stage.

This year can be said to be the year of filling pits. The days that this book can accompany everyone will not be too long. We have finally reached the point where we can say, "Read one month, and there's one month less."

Objectively speaking, this book... has indeed been written for a long time, even too long; the sense of boredom brought about by the excessive length is obviously constantly increasing. In the later stages, the stories I spend a lot of effort writing may not get as good feedback as the stories I write casually in the early stages.

For me personally, this is a kind of learning and training, because it's also the first time I've written such a long novel. The two novels I wrote before were finished at around 1.2 million words, and the number of words in *Thriller Paradise* will definitely exceed 4 million when it is finished; moreover, I really don't know how to write so-called "leveling up" and "routines," and use such a long line that only exists in the "outline in my head." Looking back at myself, I feel incredible.

Today, I can say—I will maintain and improve the advantages of this book; and the shortcomings of this book, I think, are even more valuable and can become an experience that allows me to improve.

But in any case, the overall story of *Thriller Paradise* can be said to be a foregone conclusion; if you want to stay on this ship until the end, you have to tAke both the parts you like and the parts you don't like...

That's right, I'm here to give you a heads-up, because in the final stage of the story, especially in the main line, there may be some plot twists that will surprise you very much.

Um... I wrote so much without realizing it. I feel like if I keep talking, I'll reveal something very serious.

So, this preview will end here. See you next month.
