Chapter 838: Mireya’s Suspicion

Chapter 838: Mireya’s Suspicion

Kitsura slowly opened her eyes and took a deep breath, a sweet smile appearing on her lips as she realized she had successfully learned the technique.

"Just who could have created something like this? It’s so profound...so mysterious. I can’t even imagine the strength of the one who forged this cultivation technique." She muttered with a dazed expression, still stunned by the sheer profundity of it.

"Whoever created this technique must be countless times stronger than the so-called gods of the High Heaven..."

After steadying her mind, she inhaled deeply before closing her eyes again, silently reciting the technique in her thoughts as she followed every step carefully.

Slowly, she felt a mysterious energy seeping into her body through every pore, flowing toward her dantian, where it began to gather.

’So this is Spiritual Energy... It feels so pure and profound, completely different from Mana.’ A soft smile curved her lips as wonder filled her heart.

With each breath, she absorbed more Spiritual Energy. Her body began to breathe as though every pore was drawing it in, her rhythm becoming more refined and steady.

Her dantian gradually filled with Spiritual Energy, bringing her an entirely new sensation and experience. Yet despite her excitement at stepping onto the path of cultivation, she didn’t rush recklessly.

She maintained a calm mindset, repeatedly reciting the cultivation technique within her mind while absorbing more and more Spiritual Energy.

A short while later, her dantian brimmed with energy until an invisible wall stopped her from drawing in more.

Kitsura immediately recalled Yuan’s words about this barrier. With determination flashing in her eyes, she forced even more Spiritual Energy into her dantian.

The invisible wall quivered like fragile glass—then shattered. In that instant, Spiritual Energy surged freely into her dantian.

The very next second, an explosion erupted inside her body as her dantian expanded violently, doubling its previous size.

Streams of Spiritual Energy coursed through every part of her body, filling every cell, fortifying her frame as she stepped into the first level of the Spirit Apprentice Realm.

Kitsura had broken her mortal shackles—taking her very first step toward immortality.

She felt a cool sensation spread throughout her entire body as she became a cultivator. Her body felt lighter, stronger, and completely renewed—a sensation she had never experienced before.

"I-I became a cultivator...I really became a cultivator..." Kitsura muttered in disbelief, her eyes widening with excitement as she felt her newfound strength.

Without wasting another moment, she closed her eyes again and continued cultivating. She wanted to savor the exhilarating sensation of breaking through, a feeling she quickly grew to love.

As she drew in more Spiritual Energy, her body absorbed it greedily through every pore. Her cultivation progressed by leaps and bounds, faster than she ever thought possible.

Meanwhile, in the living area, everyone sensed the swirling vortex of Spiritual Energy inside Kitsura’s room. They were shocked by how much progress she had made in her very first day of cultivation.

Mireya, however, appeared especially puzzled. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she froze, staring into the distance as if she had seen a ghost.

Turning to Yuan and the others, she asked with a blank expression, "Hey...why can I sense so much Spiritual Energy coming from Aunt Kitsura’s room? It doesn’t make any sense."

Anna Grace and the others chuckled at Mireya’s dazed expression, finding the moment amusing as they quietly wondered how she would react upon learning that Yuan had already slept with Kitsura.

Mireya then fixed her gaze on Yuan, her expression hardening into a serious glare. "Care to explain what happened after I left the palace? I need answers—immediately."

Yuan swallowed nervously. Her sharp tone and furious look made his heart skip a beat.

Before he could say a word, Xi Meili snorted and spoke bluntly. "Hmph! While you were away, Hubby slept with that fox. And now that fox has become a cultivator."

"What?!" Mireya leapt up from the sofa, her eyes wide in disbelief.

She turned to Yuan, glaring at him as if she couldn’t comprehend what she had just heard. The thought that Yuan had courted her aunt in such a short span—and even dual cultivated with her—was outrageous.

Stepping closer, she stared furiously into his eyes. "Unbelievable! To think you’d even lay your hands on my aunt—you’re the biggest womanizer I’ve ever seen or heard of!"

"Well, I can’t help it, you know?" Yuan stammered nervously, forcing a smile. "And it’s not like I made the first move. It was your aunt who came on to me. She seduced me by asking for a back rub."

"Dear, you have to believe me. I’m telling the truth. You can even ask Kitsura about it!" Yuan said as he grabbed Mireya’s hand and pulled her into his embrace, trying to calm her down with his affection.

Mireya sighed softly and leaned against his chest. She felt helpless at this point. After all, her aunt had been single forever, and now she had finally found herself a man—her man.

’I already expected something like this to happen...it was only a matter of time. But since she has already slept with him...’ Mireya sighed deeply and let out a small smile before she looked into Yuan’s eyes.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulled his face closer and pressed her lips against his, kissing him passionately for a few seconds.

"Well done, my dear. You did a great job," Mireya whispered into his ear after ending the kiss, a faint smile lingering on her face.

Yuan was stunned. He didn’t anticipate praise from Mireya—he had expected scolding or even fury. Her words left him completely surprised.

"Are you not mad at me for making Kitsura my woman?" he asked, confusion clear in his eyes as he looked at her strangely.

"Nope," Mireya chuckled and shook her head. "I’m happy that my aunt finally found a man to lean on. You see, she has been single for her whole life—and she’s over two hundred years older than my mother."

"I’m actually glad you didn’t refuse her. And honestly, I knew you would eventually make a move on her, considering how beautiful and seductive she is." Mireya smiled as she hugged him tightly, pressing his face against her massive breasts.

"You’re right about that. She really is hard to resist—just too seductive," Yuan admitted with a grin, nodding his head.

"It’s no wonder you took the chance immediately and made her your woman. You really are a big pervert." Mireya chuckled softly before kissing him again, this time with a wide grin on her face.

After cultivating for several hours without rest, Kitsura managed to reach the fifth level of the Spirit Apprentice realm. However, she didn’t even realize how much time had passed.

Her mind had been completely tranquil during cultivation, making her oblivious to the hours slipping away. When she finally opened her eyes, she noticed it was already afternoon.

Her eyes widened in shock as she realized she had been cultivating nonstop for hours without even noticing the time.

"It’s already getting dark outside, and I didn’t even realize this... How can it be? Clearly, I’ve only been cultivating for a few moments." Kitsura muttered in disbelief as she rose from the floor.

"What is this awful smell I’m picking up?" she frowned, twitching her nose as a strong stench suddenly struck her senses.

Looking down, she noticed her entire body was drenched in sweat, and a slimy black liquid clung to her skin, releasing a foul odor.

"Eew! What is this on my body?! Why does it smell so horrible?!" she almost screamed, gagging as the stench grew unbearable. Her stomach churned, and she felt like she might puke.

Without wasting another second, Kitsura rushed straight to her bathroom. She couldn’t stand the disgusting smell radiating from her body—it was enough to make her dizzy.

A meeting was convened at the Imperial Palace of the Golden Lion Empire. The heads of most noble families filled the throne hall, their expressions grim as the air grew heavier with tension.

"So the Ogre Tribe has decided to wage war against the Dragon Blood Tribe... How utterly foolish!" one noble scoffed, disgusted by the thought.

"Do they really believe they stand a chance against the Dragon Blood Tribe? Those muscleheads will all die in this war—they have no idea how deep the waters are." Baroness Lyra muttered, shaking her head with an incredulous look.

Turning her sharp gaze toward Emperor Raghar, she asked, "Your Majesty, what do you think? Do those brutes have even the slightest hope of victory? I see none."

Emperor Raghar drew in a deep breath before replying, his tone low and deliberate. "Baroness Lyra, you should understand this much—the Ogres have a very capable leader, Malgar. He is not someone we can afford to underestimate."

"And then there is ’Crimson Vrasha’—the ruthless predator of the Ogre Tribe. Her grudge against the Dragon Blood Tribe runs deep, and rumor has it her strength rivals Kaelrath’s." His words hung in the air, sharp and weighted.

The nobles nodded quietly. Indeed, Malgar and Vrasha were formidable names. Both possessed power said to rival Kaelrath himself, and together, they could easily turn the battlefield into their dominion.

Furthermore, Commander Zerath was now useless—a cripple. Once celebrated as the strongest warrior of the Dragon Blood Tribe, he had been reduced to nothing more than a broken man.

After a long silence, Baroness Lyra’s eyes narrowed. "What about the Queen of the Elves—Mireya? Will she also make a move? This war seems like the perfect chance for her to seize an advantage."
