After a brief rest, the six members participating in the team battle from both sides arrived on the battlefield. Upon the referee's confirmation, both teams dispatched their Pokémon.
Six Spirits University's lineup: Li Qiufeng's Feraligatr, Wei Chiting's Reuniclus, Tu Zhuanghai's Wailord, Tan Yue's Steelix, Chu Xiaodie's Ribombee, and Yan Chunyu's Blissey.
Seeing Chu Xiaodie send out Ribombee, the crowd was puzzled. "Why not use Butterfree? Butterfree's control ability should be stronger."
Chu Xiaodie looked at Yan Chunyu, who replied, "These are to strengthen recovery. Relying solely on Chansey's recovery might not be enough. So, Xiao Die was sent out."
After briefly explaining their thoughts, everyone then looked at North Desert University's lineup. North Desert University's lineup was indeed as guessed: Captain Ai Qiong's Charizard led the charge, followed by Golem, Voltorb, Forretress, Magneton, and a Solrock.
"Solrock, it appeared in the previous round. It's a bit troublesome to deal with, but it's not a big problem."
The battle begins.

If there was anyone in the entire North Desert University team who was easiest to deal with, it would be Golem. Because Golem is still a Rock and Ground-type Pokémon, even if Wailord isn't particularly strong in offense, a full-power Water Spout would be enough to cause Golem trouble.
North Desert University quickly found a countermeasure: "Solrock, use Protect?"
Solrock floated in front of Golem, using its Protect barrier to shield Golem from the attack. As Solrock's Protect took effect, the Charizard, which had been flying in the sky, unleashed its first Overheat towards the ground.
"Reuniclus, let's use Protect too."
As both are Psychic-type Pokémon, if Solrock could learn Protect, there was no reason Reuniclus couldn't. Reuniclus also floated up, using its Protect to block the Overheat descending from the sky.
"Now, use Knock Off on Reuniclus!"
"Ribombee, let's use Pollen Puff!"
Both sides engaged in a brief exchange targeting Reuniclus. The result was that Reuniclus partially replicated Gastly's fate. It also descended from the sky, but slightly better than Gastly, it didn't sustain too much damage. With Ribombee's recovery, its combat power remained relatively intact.
Just then, the North Desert University members suddenly ordered their Pokémon to charge forward collectively. Could this be a massive explosion? The power would be unimaginable. It's comparable to being blown up by five barrels of gunpowder or being blown up by one barrel of gunpowder five times.

As the three Pokémon released electromagnetic fields, they slowly floated up, facing the Six Spirits University members at a low altitude. Wei Chiting suddenly had a bad premonition.
Just then, Wei Chiting heard Yan Chunyu's voice: "Wei Chiting, buy me some time. Xiao Die, Zhuang Hai, prepare to recover."
Wei Chiting instinctively shouted, "Reuniclus, use Trick Room!"
Immediately after, he heard the commands from North Desert University: "Golem..."
As soon as the first syllable of "Golem" was uttered, Yan Chunyu erupted with speed: "Blissey, use Gravity first, then Heal Bell, and finally use Healing Wish on Feraligatr!"
After Yan Chunyu finished speaking at high speed, North Desert University's command was finally completed: "...use Earthquake!"
Although both commands were spoken almost simultaneously, Yan Chunyu's Blissey, under the effect of Trick Room, was faster than Golem. As Golem stomped its foot to generate seismic waves, immense gravity already enveloped the entire battlefield. All twelve Pokémon present, none in the low altitude, were all pressed to the ground by this gravity. Even Charizard, which had been searching for opportunities in the sky, had to land. As a result, Golem's Earthquake successfully swept across all the Pokémon on the field.
Earthquake is a Ground-type physical move that can hit all Pokémon within reach on the field, friend or foe. And now, every single Pokémon on the field was its target without exception.
North Desert University, which had the advantage, suddenly lost all of it.
Charizard, which was supposed to dodge Earthquake by flying, Solrock, which was immune due to its Levitate ability, and the three Pokémon that forcefully escaped using Magnet Rise, all suffered the same fate as Six Spirits University. Only the instigator, Golem, was unharmed.
Things happened very suddenly. Although Yan Chunyu had given prior warning, Chu Xiaodie and Tu Zhuanghai were still a step slow. They only began to recover themselves or their teammates after the Earthquake subsided.
"That Golem trainer is truly unlucky. It's a blessing for his family for generations that he didn't gamble. This Earthquake is stronger than the initial magnitude four, but a magnitude five wouldn't have mattered. However, the coordination was still lacking. "Charizard, use Overheat on Steelix!"
The first to recover from the combined assault of Gravity and Earthquake was Ai Qiong's Charizard. As soon as Charizard adjusted, it unleashed Overheat on Six Spirits University's tank.
"Wailord, use Whirlpool to block Overheat!"
With Yan Chunyu's warning, Tu Zhuanghai had Wailord use Rest when the earthquake struck. After the Earthquake ended, it was promptly woken up by Blissey's Heal Bell, perfectly timed to counter Charizard's Overheat.
Wailord's spout of water swirled and blocked Overheat, while Li Qiufeng had been waiting for this opportunity: "Go, Feraligatr, use Waterfall, full power."
Feraligatr leaped out of Wailord's Whirlpool and lunged at Charizard. Then, it landed a punch on Charizard's mouth.
This punch was like "punching the South Mountain Elderly Home," a full-power blow that erupted with its full force on Charizard's body, which had already sustained damage from Earthquake and Waterfall. Charizard finally succumbed to exhaustion and went down first. Six Spirits University temporarily gained an advantage. However, Feraligatr was also unable to move much after this all-out punch.
"Voltorb, use Charge Beam!"
"Magneton, use Thunderbolt!"
"Steelix, go block for Feraligatr!"
Seeing Feraligatr temporarily unable to fight, North Desert University decided to take it down first. Six Spirits University, on the other hand, had Steelix take the double Electric-type attack to protect Feraligatr.
Steelix moved rapidly and managed to block the two Electric-type attacks before they could hit.
Steelix taking the two Electric-type attacks seemed to feel like a tickle. However, because Steelix protruded to block the attacks, Blissey and Ribombee's defenses were left wide open.
"Forretress, use Heavy Slam on Ribombee!"
"Solrock, go and tie up Reuniclus."
If Reuniclus were to go to Ribombee, it would be easy for Reuniclus's Protect to block Forretress. Therefore, Solrock was sent out to interfere with Reuniclus. And for Six Spirits University, not only Reuniclus could stop Forretress, but Wailord could too.
However, before Wailord could step forward, Yan Chunyu stepped out: "Blissey, use Teleport to switch with Reuniclus!"
Blissey flashed, and Reuniclus appeared in Blissey's position. Blissey was now facing Solrock eye to eye.
Reuniclus, teleported next to Ribombee, immediately used Protect to block Forretress's Heavy Slam. Tu Zhuanghai, after assessing the situation, instructed Wailord to attack Solrock.
Solrock's original mission was to obstruct Reuniclus, but after Reuniclus was replaced by Blissey, it had even less to do.
"Solrock, return. Let's regroup."
Seeing the North Desert University members start to consolidate, Wei Chiting also had his team gather. They now had a numerical advantage and one and a half healers. They hoped to recover their Pokémon's condition before launching another offensive.
"Very good. At this point, it's a draw. We just need to play steadily. We don't need to rush. Let them make the first move."
