Chapter 2 Interview (First guaranteed update)

Chapter 1 Memories

After recalling the relevant information collected earlier, Fang Senyan tried to open the door. The corridor was quiet, the floor gleaming, and the walls hung with oil paintings, no different from a normal five-star hotel. But at the end of the corridor stood a man. He wore a Holmes-style bowler hat and held a seemingly aged cane. When he saw Fang Senyan, he said impatiently:

"Hey! What time is it? What are you still doing in your rooms? This meeting is very important. It was an opportunity that our Landes Career Planning Center (er) managed to secure for you. The interview is in one hour. Five minutes, I swear on my dead father's name, I'll wait no more than five minutes! The rest of you can walk over there yourselves - and of course, the deposit paid will not be refunded by a single penny!" Fang Senyan shrugged nonchalantly and said:

"I am a very punctual person, but unfortunately, not everyone is like me, sir." Although Fang Senyan's answer was polite, there was no doubt that his meager charm value played a considerable role here - a negative one. The career manager still didn't give him a good look and told him to wait aside. The other contractors in the rooms were not dead either, so they naturally heard the previous conversation and rushed to gather.

Within two minutes, all ten contractors on the floor had gathered here. Fang Senyan noticed that at least four of them knew each other. They exchanged glances and communicated some of the information they had obtained. Clearly, they were members of a team. Next, they naturally took the elevator down. When all the contractors gathered in the hotel lobby, Fang Senyan felt that there were about thirty contractors, divided into two teams, one small and one large.

At this moment, Fang Senyan felt someone approaching and sitting down next to him. He turned his head and said "Oh":

"It's you?" The man had a full beard and an expression that was both capable and sharp. It was the cold-blooded killer Fang Senyan had met in the Terminator world. They had exchanged information about milestones and titles, and had some acquaintance with each other. At this time, neither of them belonged to any team, so the idea of joining forces came naturally.

There were three career managers from Landes Career Planning Center (er) here. These three seemed to be ordinary people, but they seemed to lack a little patience. After waiting for a few minutes, a brand-new bus drove up outside the hotel, and all the contractors got on the bus obediently. The bus then drove away.

As the bus started, a clear prompt sounded in the ears of all the contractors:

"Time: February 25, 1991 AD, 1:00 PM."

"Location: London, Europe (51 degrees 30 minutes 28 seconds north latitude, 0 degrees 07 minutes 41 seconds west longitude.)"

"Scene: The Magical World of Harry Potter"

"Difficulty: Easy (D-level)"

"Pain weakening: 50%"

"Personal ability extra enhancement: 0%."

"Current scene exploration: 0.00%"

"Additional notes: This world is a free scene: Contractors can only obtain relevant battle record information point-to-point (i.e., directly causing damage/being damaged by both parties). When you fight with other contractors, if your perception exceeds your opponent, then you can perform perception suppression on your opponent, so that they cannot obtain detailed combat records."

This scene is a free scene: Killing a contractor has a 33% chance of obtaining certain benefits (limited to the case where a contractor kills a contractor). If contractors attack each other, then all damage will be reduced by 40%. (There is a clear warning color above the four words "free scene"). When contractors attack each other, the effect of functional defects such as blindness/deafness/disability will be reduced to 50%. (For example, if a monster breaks your leg, reducing your movement speed by 70%, then a contractor breaking your leg will only reduce it by 35%.) Reminder: When you are attacked by a contractor, if an attack will have a fatal (hit point zeroing) effect on you, then you will not die immediately but enter a severely injured state. In a severely injured state, you can only retain 10% of your hit points, and your movement speed is reduced by 80%, all attack power is reduced by 80%, and all attributes are reduced by 50%. When you join a team, some team-specific abilities can only be activated in a severely injured state. Once your life reaches zero in a severely injured state, you will die completely.

"Warning: All those who participate in killing a contractor will increase their own killing value by 10 points. Having a killing value will increase your own chance of dropping a bloody key and make you a target for others to hunt."

"Contractors without killing value can attack/kill contractors with killing value and will not gain killing value."

"Each time you complete a main quest: Eliminate 1 killing value."

"Every time you experience a world: Eliminate 10 killing value."

"Contractors who have obtained killing value cannot hide their killing value and can be seen by any contractor."

"Killing value will affect the perception of certain plot characters."

"You will automatically master the relevant language and can interact fluently with the characters in this world. Forgotten after leaving this world."

"Number of accepted tasks: 1"

"Your appearance/identity has been processed and will automatically return to normal when you return to the real world. You can also make relevant appearance adjustments in the Nightmare Space. If you have any questions, you can silently recite the relevant questions in your mind to inquire through the Nightmare Mark. If the permission is reached, you can get an answer."

After receiving the world information prompt, all the contractors

looked at each other and saw a strong threat in each other's eyes. Undoubtedly, it was because of the sentence "This scene is a free scene, and killing a contractor will have a 33% chance of obtaining certain benefits!"

The bus drove through the streets of London and soon stopped outside a bar. The bar looked very old from the outside. The hyacinth lamps hanging under the eaves, the stone walls, and the hanging wooden bar sign all showed a kind of illusion that seemed to trace back to the eighteenth century. Although the appearance of the bar was old, it had a spotless cleanliness, like the bare, smooth rocks on a high mountain. The bar's sign read "The Leaky Cauldron, London."

The group filed out of the bus, and the three managers began to enter the bar. The interview venue was actually in an old bar, which was extremely unbelievable. However, the contractors present were all elites in the real world, so naturally they did not show any color.

The bar looked very small from the outside, and the business area should be less than twenty square meters, but after entering, it was found that the space inside was unusually wide. The thick oak tables could no longer be seen for their age. Although it was daytime, white candles were still lit and burned on tin-covered solid wood candlesticks. The walls next to them were weathered by time, appearing dilapidated, and in some places even revealing red bricks. There were even signs of worm erosion on the beams and pillars. The decorations behind the bartender were many empty wine bottles lying in disorder, and the window lattices next to them also presented the style of the ancient fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.

The three managers walked to the west side of the bar, where a man was sitting upright, wearing a black cloak. His hair was a little greasy and reached his shoulders, and his nose had the characteristic hooked shape of a Corsican. The man's eyes were cold and lonely, as if nothing in the world was worthy of staying for a moment in his empty eyes.

One of the managers stepped forward and said:

"Mr. Snape, this is the latest batch of volunteer applicants." The man nodded, but all the contractors felt a sense of trembling in their hearts, and most of them knew the man's true identity. Because of this, they felt a sense of being completely suppressed under absolute strength. Fang Senyan had an urge to use "Insight" at this time, but after carefully considering the possible serious consequences, he dismissed the impulse.

Snape raised his head, and his cold and ruthless gaze slowly swept across the faces of all the contractors. At the same time, the Nightmare Mark issued a prompt:

"Main quest: Interview completed"

"You have gained 1 merit point." "You have gained the main quest: Credentials." "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the most famous magic school in this world, without exception. Subsequent main quests will be carried out around Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You have a full forty-eight hours to obtain a keepsake to use as a credential to enter and exit Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

"Task reminder: If you cannot complete this series of main quests, then 5000 general points will be deducted, but your time in this world will be extended by one week. If you cannot pay the 5000 general points that have been deducted by then, then you will be obliterated."

Snape stared at the contractors for a long time, and after a while, he said in a flat and slow tone:

"Among you, are there any who often encounter strange things in your lives?" After a while, several contractors looked at each other, and then one of them tentatively said:

"Sir, some of the small things around me often float up for no reason."

"Oh?" Snape took a spoon from the side, held it vertically in his hand, and said coldly: "Sit in front of me, look at this spoon, and think in your heart about bending it. But you can only think, and you must not help with your hands."
