Chapter 26: Bonus Chapter – Li Ming vs. The Chicken (Non-Canon, Just for Fun!)

⚠️ Note from the Author:

This Chapter is NOT part of the real story. It’s just a silly, funny side story for laughs. You don’t need to read this to understand the main plot. But if you want to see Li Ming fight his greatest enemy ever... a chicken... then enjoy! 🐓😂

Long ago, before Li Ming became famous, there was a legendary battle.

A battle so terrible, so shocking, that no one ever forgot it.

It was the day Li Ming... lost to a chicken.

Yes. A chicken.

Now, after all his victories, after punching tigers and shocking the sect, Li Ming returned home to face his greatest enemy once again.

---

Li Ming stood in the village yard, his robe fluttering in the wind. His eyes were serious. He clenched his fists.

"Last time... you embarrassed me. This time... I will win."

Across from him stood the chicken.

It pecked the dirt.

It flapped its wings.

It stared at him with cold, soulless eyes.

"Cluck."

The villagers gathered around, whispering.

"That’s the chicken that beat Li Ming!"

"Can he win this time?"

"I bet on the chicken again."

Li Ming’s face twitched. "Even my own people..."

The referee raised his hand. "Begin!"

The chicken charged first. Its claws scratched the ground, dust flying everywhere. Li Ming stepped back quickly. "Fast! It got faster since last time!"

The chicken jumped, aiming straight for his head.

Li Ming dodged. "Not today, feathered demon!" He swung his fist.

BAM!

The chicken flipped in the air, landed neatly, and stared at him again. Not even a feather was missing.

Gasps filled the crowd.

"It took his punch!"

"The chicken is too strong!"

Li Ming’s eye twitched. He pulled out a bun from his sleeve and took a big bite. "Fine. If you want to fight seriously, then I’ll fight seriously."

The chicken tilted its head. "Cluck?"

Energy exploded from Li Ming’s body. His black hair flew wildly. His aura shook the ground. He shouted, "Meteor Bun Fist—Special Chicken Serving!"

His fist glowed like the sun. He charged. The chicken charged too.

They met in the middle.

BOOOOM!

Dust flew everywhere. Villagers screamed and covered their eyes.

When the smoke cleared... both of them were standing.

Li Ming’s robe was torn. His face was sweaty.

The chicken had one feather out of place. Just one.

Li Ming’s jaw dropped. "This... this monster..."

The chicken lifted its wings slowly. Then—smack!—it slapped Li Ming across the face with its wing.

The crowd gasped.

"He got slapped by a chicken!"

"The chicken wins again!"

Li Ming staggered back, holding his cheek. His eyes burned with rage. "You dare humiliate me again?!"

The chicken calmly pecked at the ground.

Li Ming clenched his teeth. He took out another bun. Then another. Then another. He stuffed them all into his mouth at once. His aura shot into the sky, ten times stronger than before.

The jade slip in his robe glowed madly, refining all the bun-energy instantly.

"Now... I am unstoppable!"

The chicken blinked.

Li Ming dashed forward, faster than the eye could see. His fists blurred, raining down like a storm. "Meteor Bun Fist—Infinity Bun Explosion!"

The ground cracked. The air roared. Dust covered the whole yard.

When it finally cleared...

Li Ming was standing tall, panting. His fist was extended. The chicken lay on the ground, eyes spinning, feathers flying everywhere.

Silence.

Then the villagers cheered. "He did it! He beat the chicken!"

"Li Ming has finally won!"

Li Ming fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. "Finally... my honor is restored..."

But just as he relaxed... the chicken twitched. Its eyes opened. It stood up slowly, glowing with golden light. Its feathers turned shiny, its aura exploded.

Everyone froze.

"The chicken... is breaking through?!"

"Impossible! It’s advancing to Foundation Establishment!"

Li Ming’s mouth dropped open. "WHAT?!"

The chicken let out a mighty cluck that shook the heavens. Then, with one flap of its wings, it flew away into the clouds, leaving behind only feathers and shock.

Li Ming collapsed onto the ground, staring at the sky.

"...I hate chickens."

---

From that day on, the villagers told the story of the chicken that no one could truly defeat. And Li Ming, despite all his power, would always tremble a little whenever he smelled fried chicken.
