Chapter 16: The Gym Finally Opens
Garion was now in the courtyard, staring at the floating screen in front of him.
"Alright. Let’s make some new gym equipment."
[Materials detected in storage: Titan Ores, Beast Materials, Spirit Woods,...]
[New Feature Unlocked: God Gym’s Divine Equipment Creation]
Garion whistled.
"Divine Equipment? That sounds really good. let’s see how good they are."
Another screen appeared and beside it, a glowing pen appeared.
Garion’s jaw quickly dropped.
"Wait... I can draw? You’re telling me I only need to sketch and it comes to life? This is way better than I expected."
He grabbed the pen, spinning it between his fingers.
"This means I can even make my own weird equipment that this world or my world has never seen. Oh, I’m gonna have so much fun with this."
He cracked his knuckles and started to sketch in the air.
The glowing lines floated where he drew, smoothing themselves into a neat shape.
"First things first, let’s make the foundation of every gym, a squat rack."
He drew two vertical beams, a crossbar, and hooks.
His first few strokes wobbled, but the system auto-corrected them into sleek steel pillars.
The outline suddenly shimmered, turning into a glowing 3D model right before him.
Garion nearly dropped his pen in surprise.
"Wait... you can make it 3D? Why didn’t you say that earlier?!"
[Tips: 3D drafting available for smoother design]
Garion rolled his eyes.
"Thanks for telling me after I started, you stingy system."
Still, his grin widened.
He zoomed in on the hologram with his fingers, adjusting the hooks and bar placements.
"Looking good. Solid frame and clean hook. This will surely hold."
Satisfied, he cracked his neck.
"Now, let’s make the rest."
He grabbed the glowing bar from the rack design, copied it, and stretched it out a little longer.
"There. This will be the barbell stick."
The system smoothed the skay line into a sleek, straight bar.
He nodded and then copied teh design again and shortened it.
"Dumbbell handle is also done."
Two stubby bars floated beside the long one. Garion rubbed his hands together, grinning.
"Now, for the weights."
He drew a simple circle, then a hole in the middle. The outline flickered, then solidified into a smooth black disc.
He quickly duplicated it into multiple discs and resized them into multiple sizes until a stack appeared before him.
He reached out and pretended to stack them onto the bar.
The hologram responded, snapping them into place with a click.
The system automatically adjusted the size and balance.
"Perfect, Adjustable weights, just like the ones on my world."
Next, he sketched a rack with two slanted stands on tiers to hold dumbbells and another frame for the barbells and plates.
The glowing blue lines locked together like puzzle pieces, turning them into neat, sturdy storage stands.
When the whole set appeared, Garion put his hands on his hips, admiring his work.
"Good... really good. These will be my new gym equipment. The God Gym finally has a backbone."
[Design Detected: Barbell, Dumbbell, Weight Plates, Squat Rack, Weight Racks.]
[Suggestion: Use Titan Ore as the core material.]
[Benefits: Extreme durability and extreme weight in a smaller size.]
Garion’s eyes lit up.
"Smaller and heavier? Oh, that’s perfect."
He pointed at the floating screen.
"Make them from Titan Ore, all of them. I want all of them to be heavy and indestructible."
The system hummed as the glowing designs flared brighter.
One by one, the holograms solidified, turning into real equipment.
The squat rack gleamed like polished steel, the barbells and dumbbells shimmered faintly, and the plates stacked neatly in the weight rack.
Garion walked up to the barbell, tapped it with his knuckles, and grinned, hearing the sound.
"Perfect. It is stronger than steel, heavier than stone, and prettier than any gym equipment in my world."
He crouched down, grabbed a pari of plates from the rack, and turned them in his hands.
"Good. The system even put the weights in kilograms. Nice and professional."
He chuckled and raised one up.
"Fifty kilos, huh? But look at this small size. People will never believe it’s fifty. They’ll think it’s just at most ten."
Shaking his head, he laughed and slid both 50kg plates on the bar.
"Alright, let’s test this bad boy."
He ducked under the bar, resting it across his shoulders, then straightened his back.
With a deep breath, he lowered himself into a squat. His tightness burned intensely, but the rack held steady. He exhaled and pushed back up smoothly.
"Good. Really good. I can feel the durability. No wobble, no slip, and perfect grip too."
He rapped his fingers against teh knurled surface.
"Thankfully, I added those rough patches for grip. Smart detail, if I do say so myself."
Garion finished his set with a steady rhythm. His breathing was loud but controlled.
When he racked the bar back in place, he stepped out with a grin.
"Now, that’s what’s called a perfect and proper workout."
He flexed his arms, rolling his shoulders, feeling the mana inside him stir.
"Indeed... this cultivation method is even better when paired with exercise. The more I train, the thirstier my body becomes."
"Every rep makes the absorption from the air even faster than before."
He clenched his fist and smirked.
"Perfect harmony between mana and sweat."
His eyes went back to the weight rack, licking his lips.
"Let’s not stop here. Morning’s still far away. Bicep curls, barbell rows, deadlifts... Tonight, the God Gym truly opens for me!"
He grabbed the barbell, this time stripping off the big plates and swapping in lighter ones for curls.
With a quick motion, he raised it and pulled it toward his chest. His arms bulged, and veins stood out.
"A very smooth motion and solid bar. Exactly how I wanted."
Sweat rolled down his forehead, but his grin didn’t fade. He set the bar down, grabbed the dumbbells.
He quickly tested a few hammer curls with them.
"Excellent balance. Doesn’t even roll out of the grip. Really fucking good!"
He switched to overhead press, then deadlifts, then lunges, moving like a man possessed.
"I’ll keep going until sunrise. By the time Dahlia wakes up, I’ll show her how the gods should train."
His laughter filled the courtyard as he kept lifting, squatting, curling, and pressing, and every motion was polished and sharp.
