With a roar, Robin burst from the darkness and threw batarangs at the two soldiers guarding the fire cage.
The two batarangs struck the soldiers' chests. Before they could even reach for them, a "boom" was heard. The batarangs exploded, the shockwave throwing both men several meters away, leaving gaping holes in their chests from which blood and organs spilled.
Robin wouldn't have done this to anyone else. After all, he followed Batman's example, trying his best to uphold Batman's no-kill principle.
But this was different. In Robin's eyes, these soldiers, and even the villagers, were not human but monsters in human skin.
After all, what human could take another's body and make it their own? What human could have a hole blown through their chest and still be alive?
As soon as Robin attacked, Wally followed suit, rushing out quickly. After knocking aside the last soldier, he began to circle the fire cage rapidly, attempting to create a vacuum to extinguish the flames.
As Wally's speed increased, just as he was about to succeed, *bang!*
A figure suddenly appeared in Wally's path.
Unsurprisingly, Wally, unable to brake, crashed directly into the figure. It felt like hitting a steel plate, leaving him dazed.

Seeing Robin's arrival, Wally quickly warned him.
"Got it."
Instead of retreating, Robin advanced, moving to stand before Conner. He quickly pulled a glowing green stone from his utility belt.
"Kryptonite!"
Wally couldn't help but exclaim upon seeing what Robin had produced.

Under the influence of the Kryptonite, Conner's strength rapidly drained, and he soon became weak. Though he tried to resist, he was no match for Robin. Robin dodged his attack with a swift movement, then landed a punch to Conner's face, knocking him to the ground.
Seeing Conner fall, Robin, fearing he hadn't completely lost consciousness, quickly moved forward and delivered a chop to the back of his neck.
Conner's body, having been exposed to Kryptonite for an extended period, was now incredibly weak. This final chop was the last straw. After it, Conner lost all ability to resist and fainted.
After knocking Conner unconscious, Wally quickly dealt with the three soldiers surrounding them. Robin successfully extinguished the fire cage and rescued Kalder and Megan, who were trapped inside.
