Facing Darkseid's arrogance and disdain, Bai Qi felt no anger. After all, it was precisely because of the opponent's overconfidence and underestimation that he had more time to absorb the Green Lantern energy from the lantern.

As time passed, Bai Qi absorbed more and more Green Lantern energy, and the quality of the Dragon-Patterned Lantern Ring continuously improved. Under the lantern's feedback, Bai Qi could feel his strength slowly increasing. However, soon, he could no longer leisurely absorb Green Lantern energy.
With the last Green Lantern's neck snapped by Darkseid, on the entire Oa, besides Darkseid and his Parademon army, Bai Qi was the only one still breathing.
Towards Bai Qi, this "old six" (a term for someone cunning and opportunistic), Darkseid didn't even deem it necessary to act personally. With just a look, swarms of Parademons surged like a tide, pouncing on the barrier from the outside and unleashing a barrage of attacks.

As long as this entity no longer supplied energy to the Green Lanterns, those individuals would merely be a bunch of green-skinned clowns. Furthermore, to vent his pent-up hatred, he wouldn't simply destroy it; he would destroy it magnificently, so that all those who opposed him would see their fate.
Soon, Darkseid came up with a brilliant idea. Many of the Green Lanterns were from Earth. Very well, he would use Earth's lava.
After contacting Batman, who was left behind on Apokolips, a Boom Tube opened in the skies above Oa. Then, scorching lava flowed out, cascading down like a mighty river towards the lantern directly below.
Though the lantern was forged from sturdy metal, it was actually extremely fragile, especially with the vast amount of Green Lantern energy accumulated within. If it were doused with the lava flowing from the sky, the metal casing would be destroyed, reacting with the internal Green Lantern energy, and the resulting explosion would undoubtedly become the brightest star in the universe.
Now, with the entire Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians of the Universe slaughtered by Darkseid, was there truly no one who could stop this tyrant's atrocity?
Of course not!
At the critical moment, the lava, which had been in freefall, seemed to be drawn by something, changing its direction. Completely disregarding gravity, it veered away from the lantern and accelerated towards the side.
"I haven't finished absorbing the energy in the lantern yet. If you destroy it now, I'll be very troubled."
All the lava converged, and under the scorching deluge, a dragon with crimson eyes slowly emerged.

"Is that so?" Bai Qi, unfazed by Darkseid's provocation, retorted with a calm and unhurried tone, "Then let me witness the power of the Lord of Darkness."
With that, Bai Qi vanished from his spot. The next moment, he appeared before Darkseid and, using the same move Darkseid had used on him, delivered a powerful punch to Darkseid's abdomen.
His abdomen struck with tremendous force, Darkseid instinctively bent over, his head lowered. Bai Qi seized the opportunity to launch an uppercut, sending Darkseid flying into the sky. He then unleashed both his eye lasers and dragon's breath simultaneously, engulfing Darkseid in an instant.
If you thought this would be enough to defeat the Lord of Darkness, you would be underestimating him.
Three seconds after the dragon's breath engulfed Darkseid, two crimson Omega Beams pierced through the fiery blast. They bent in mid-air several times before shooting towards Bai Qi.
Facing the Omega Beams directly aimed at him, Bai Qi attempted to block with his telekinesis, but finding it ineffective, he immediately switched to magic. However, neither telekinesis nor magic could block these seemingly ordinary beams.
The Omega Beams struck Bai Qi's body directly.
The moment of contact, Bai Qi realized the terrifying nature of the Omega Beams.
Unlike conventional laser beams, the Omega Beams, upon hitting their target, would rapidly spread their damage, annihilating all cells in the target's body at the fastest possible rate, and this damage was difficult to suppress.
After retreating, Bai Qi found that the damage from the Omega Beams had already begun to spread and was impossible to contain. Bai Qi, in a fit of desperate resolve, dug out the entire affected area.
