"Earth Kui, come out!"
At Bai Qi's call, Earth Kui, looking utterly bewildered, emerged from behind the Hell Gate.
"What's going on? Weren't there only eight Hell Gates? This gate is..."
Completely confused, Earth Kui sought help from Bai Qi, as it appeared Bai Qi had opened the Hell Gate to release him from hell.
Unfortunately, Bai Qi offered no answers. Instead, he recited an incantation, and a magic array appeared, enveloping both Bai Qi and Earth Kui.
Bai Qi had no intention of wasting time with this Earth Demon who had lost half his Earth Power.
At this moment, Earth Kui sensed something was amiss.
"Holy Lord, what do you mean by this?"
"What do I mean?" Bai Qi raised an eyebrow and replied, "It's very simple. I mean for you to become a part of my power."
Without giving Earth Kui time to react, Bai Qi flashed before him and delivered a series of punches, slamming Earth Kui against the wall formed by the magic array.
Earth Kui was stunned by Bai Qi's barrage. As soon as his body touched the ground, Bai Qi was already upon him, restraining his movements with both hands. He then unleashed a scorching dragon's breath directly at Earth Kui's head. While spewing dragon's breath to inflict damage, he simultaneously absorbed the demon power from Earth Kui's body through his hands.
Earth Kui tried to resist, but his current strength was far too weak. If nothing else, losing half his Earth Power had severely diminished his strength.
Ultimately, after Bai Qi's relentless assault of spewing and absorbing, the weakened Earth Kui became a part of Bai Qi's power.
With Earth Kui dealt with, the next target was Pasha.
However, unlike other demons, Pasha, dwelling in the sea, was too slippery to capture easily. Any slight misstep and she might escape. As for forcing her onto land, that was out of the question.
After a moment's thought, Bai Qi summoned Arthur from the Shadow Realm.
Looking at a bewildered Arthur, Bai Qi said, "I will help you deal with Pasha, but I will need a little assistance from you."
"What kind of assistance?"
"I need you to act as bait and lure Pasha here. Then, I can eliminate her in one fell swoop, and your Atlantis will be safe."
According to Bai Qi, if everything went as planned, Atlantis would indeed be safe. However, Arthur, serving as the bait in this entire scheme, was undoubtedly in the most perilous position. After all, facing Pasha and the vast numbers of the Trench Tribe, even a minor mistake could lead to utter ruin, not to mention that this time, he had no loyal soldiers to sacrifice for him.
Yet, even so, for the sake of Atlantis's survival, Arthur resolutely set off towards Atlantis.
To ensure Arthur's swift return, Bai Qi cast a speed-enhancing magic on him and simultaneously annihilated the Trench Tribe surrounding the island.
While Arthur was luring Pasha, Bai Qi was not idle. He was busy calming and pacifying the power of the Earth Kui he had just absorbed, while also setting up magic arrays and various restrictions around the island.
After all, this was the ocean, Pasha's home turf, and it would require considerable effort to kill her.
As time passed, approximately five hours later, Arthur finally managed to lure Pasha over. From a distance, the enormous Pasha seemed to have merged with the towering waves, relentlessly pressing down on Arthur, who was forging ahead.
Behind her, amidst the giant waves, swarmed a dense multitude of Trench Tribe members, a sight that sent shivers down one's spine.
Judging by Pasha's approach, she was determined to slay the King of Atlantis today.
Fortunately, Bai Qi's preparations were complete.
As Pasha entered the designated area, the first magic array activated. Under its blinding radiance, the giant wave merged with Pasha rapidly dissipated. In mere seconds, Pasha, who moments before had been riding the colossal wave with unstoppable momentum, found herself utterly alone.
The magic array not only dispersed the waves that had been one with Pasha but also separated her from the large contingent of Trench Tribe members behind her.
At this moment, Pasha mistook Arthur for the culprit, showing no sign of suspicion.
Seeing that the Trench Tribe behind her could not advance due to the magic array's separation, and without any intention of first breaking the array to allow her forces to enter, she continued her pursuit of Arthur alone.
However, as Pasha pressed deeper, more and more magic arrays and restrictions were triggered. Even for Pasha, dealing with such a multitude of magic arrays and restrictions proved to be quite troublesome.
At this point, Pasha finally sensed that something was wrong.
She was familiar with Atlantis's magic; it was decent for defense, but its offensive capabilities were insufficient to harm her. Yet now, these magic arrays and restrictions were not only inflicting damage but many of them were causing her considerable trouble.
"I must capture this little fish quickly."
With that thought, Pasha gestured with her hand. Arthur, swimming in the sea, felt his body being lifted. A hand made of seawater closed in, lifted, and grasped Arthur from the water.
"Alright, I've had enough of this cat-and-mouse game. You can die now."
As she spoke, the hand gradually tightened, compressing Arthur's body, causing his bones to crackle.
"Holy Lord, if you don't act soon, I'm going to die."
After struggling fruitlessly several times, Arthur could only call out to Bai Qi for rescue.
"Holy Lord?"
Arthur's cry was clearly heard by Pasha.
Upon witnessing this, Bai Qi could no longer stand idly by. He decisively intervened, using magic to dissipate the hand grasping Arthur. Subsequently, a series of magic arrays rose, connecting to form a massive, self-contained space, engulfing Pasha and a large expanse of seawater.
Seeing Bai Qi also trapped within this independent space, a flicker of annoyance crossed Pasha's eyes. She glared at Bai Qi and said irritably, "Holy Lord! You, a dignified Primordial Demon, would help these filthy Atlanteans deal with me?"
"I am not helping anyone. Dealing with you is merely a part of my plan."
Enraged, Pasha paid no heed and immediately manipulated the seawater to attack Bai Qi.
Seeing Pasha's actions, Bai Qi, of course, would not stand by and allow himself to be attacked.
With a wave of his hand, scorching flames instantly vaporized the incoming seawater.
Water indeed extinguishes fire, but in the face of absolute power, water merely serves as fuel for the flames.
This was precisely the situation at hand.
Bai Qi's strength far surpassed Pasha's. Moreover, within this confined space, Pasha's ability to manipulate seawater was severely limited. After only a few offensive maneuvers, the seawater within the space was almost depleted.
Dealing with Pasha could not be done the same way as with other demons. Pasha was very unique; to be precise, she lacked a true physical form, and physical damage would be almost ineffective against her. To attack her, magic was the only way.
