The Ling Master, having survived the three-clan siege and witnessed the terror of the ancestor of the three clans, lacked confidence in his own strength. As soon as the first great war between the three clans ended, he began seeking allies. He didn't ask for deep commitment, only for mutual aid in times of crisis to resist the three clans and preserve his life.
His search led him to the White Tiger Daoist and then to the Holy Land of Creation. After joining the Holy Land of Creation, a very loose organization that could barely be called an alliance, perhaps just a place for discussing Dao, the Ling Master, in order to increase his influence, logically proposed the concept of "Cave-Heaven and Blessed-Land Dao" and the speculation of "World Dao Proving." This led to the current situation.
Upon being called upon, the Ling Master immediately spoke:
"I once obtained a portion of the inheritance of the World Gods and Demons. The so-called World Dao Proving method is actually a conjecture derived from the World Gods and Demons' inheritance. Someone just said that by refining a part of the earth's veins, one can gain a small portion of authority. So, by refining the entire world, can one become the master of the world? I say yes. Refining the entire world can indeed make one the master of the world. However, refining the Eternal World is somewhat unrealistic. And given the might of the Eternal World, refining it might not be Dao Proving, but a realm even more terrifying than Dao Proving. After all, the Eternal World contains three thousand perfect laws, and Dao Proving only requires one law to be perfect. The gap should be extremely large. Therefore, if one is to prove Dao through the World Dao Proving method, it should suffice to create a world much weaker than the Eternal World, and the three thousand laws don't need to be completely perfect, just reach a certain level. But I lack the ability to create heaven and earth and open up a great world on my own to smoothly prove Dao. So, I thought of a clever workaround. Similar to how the Tai Yin and Tai Yang Gods and Demons nurtured the seeds of the Tai Yin and Tai Yang stars and slowly cultivated them into Tai Yin and Tai Yang stars, I will first nurture a world seed and then cultivate it into a small cave-heaven and blessed-land, a large cave-heaven and blessed-land, a small world, a large world, a small thousand world, a middle thousand world, and a great thousand world. In my estimation, as long as the world is promoted to a great thousand world, one should be able to smoothly prove Dao. Even if one ultimately cannot prove Dao, one can still possess the strength of Dao Proving by virtue of the great thousand world."
"Wait, I have a question. Based on your description, a great thousand world is actually not much larger than any of the nine heavens in ancient times, let alone comparable to the Netherworld created in ancient times. If the World Dao Proving method were truly effective, why didn't the Gods and Demons of the Nine Heavens prove Dao? And why didn't the Netherworld Gods and Demons succeed? This doesn't make sense!"
Before the Ling Master could finish speaking, a Daoist who was very knowledgeable about ancient affairs raised his doubts, which sounded quite reasonable at first hearing.
"How can that be the same? Both the Nine Heavens and the Netherworld were created relying on the Eternal World. In fact, the Nine Heavens and the Netherworld cannot truly be considered worlds; they are merely spaces created by relying on the Eternal World. The most basic requirements for a world are two points: first, the ability to exist independently of the Eternal World, and second, the three thousand laws within the world may not be perfect, but they must exist. The Nine Heavens and the Netherworld are completely unrelated to these two points. However, I believe that if one could completely refine the Nine Heavens or the Netherworld and mobilize their power, one could either prove Dao or obtain authority and strength comparable to Dao Proving. There should be no problem with this!"
After explaining the other person's doubts, the Ling Master waited for a moment. Seeing that no one else raised objections, he continued:
"Furthermore, the World Dao Proving method has another advantage: it can grant a certain degree of world authority. That's right, the authority that the Daoists of Creation and Space just mentioned, which can reduce the difficulty of comprehending laws. According to my long-term verification, even though I only created a large cave-heaven and blessed-land, which doesn't even meet the minimum standard of a world, as long as this cave-heaven and blessed-land is merged with the Eternal World, or rather, offered to the Eternal World, I will receive a mysterious feedback, and for a period of time, it will become easier to comprehend laws. If cave-heavens and blessed-lands have this effect, then theoretically, if a small thousand world, middle thousand world, or great thousand world is merged with the Eternal World and contributed to it, the benefits should be even greater. So, even if this World Dao Proving method ultimately fails to prove Dao, sacrificing the great thousand world to the Eternal World and merging with it should yield significant benefits. Thus, there's no way to lose.
"In addition, I have a small, not very mature suggestion, or rather, a small idea. That is, perhaps we can cooperate once. Everyone cooperates to try to create a great thousand world outside the Eternal World, and then have one person refine it. Wouldn't that tell us if World Dao Proving is feasible? According to my estimation, with our cooperation, the possibility of creating a great thousand world is quite high."
Finally, the Ling Master proposed a suggestion that he knew others would likely not agree to, but it wouldn't hurt to mention it, and there would be no loss. As expected, the various Daoists and Gods and Demons directly ignored his final suggestion and did not deliberately discuss it. After all, no one was sure if Dao Proving was a singular path, and if only one person could prove Dao through a single method. No matter how much they were willing to discuss, no one wanted everyone to work together to help another person prove Dao. Therefore, the group only briefly discussed the feasibility of the Dao Proving method, the difficulties involved, whether there were any shortcuts, and so on. Then, the Daoist Pan Piao, who had deduced the third method of Dao Proving, began to explain his method:
"My Dao Proving method lies in breaking ten thousand methods with one force, pushing through with my physical body. Before me, heaven and earth had various laws of force, but there was no pure law of physical strength. I, however, temper my physical body with all the energies, substances, and even laws of heaven and earth. I use these energies and laws as nourishment to cultivate pure physical strength. All great powers converge into one body. Now, my physical body is comparable to the best innate spiritual treasures, impervious to all evil and all laws. My magic power is integrated into my physical body, my true spirit is integrated into my physical body, and all my insights are integrated into my physical body. Without using any laws or magic power, I can grasp stars and moons within the world and roam freely in the chaos. I can even refine my body with chaotic energy, tempering myself with the chaotic energy outside the world, which is thousands of times more turbulent than the energy within the world. Even the chaotic gods and demons of ancient times found this difficult to achieve. Therefore, my Dao Proving method is body refinement, abandoning all else, seeking only an indestructible and eternal physical body."
