Long Live The Master

Chapter 57 Justin is Already Married

Chapter 57: Chapter 57 Justin is Already Married

"Miss Curtis is indeed eloquent,"

Jasmine Clarkson silently retrieved her hand, her expression stern and her aura intense.

Evelyn Curtis’s heart suddenly gave a thump.

What did this old woman mean?

Could it be that she disliked her?

"Grandma, this is my first time meeting you, I don’t know how I should talk to you. Please forgive me." Evelyn Curtis maintained her smile, when in fact she was gritting her teeth secretly.

"Miss Curtis speaks very well, without missing a beat." Jasmine Clarkson gave a cold smile and asked back, "But I really want to ask Miss Curtis a question, can you answer me honestly?"

"You say." Evelyn Curtis pretended to be compliant.

"Something unpleasant happened that night. Why didn’t Miss Curtis call the police at that time?" Jasmine Clarkson’s benevolent eyes had turned sharp.

Evelyn Curtis was suddenly taken aback.

Her face turned somewhat pale. Her hand involuntarily trembled, she took a deep breath, trying her best to maintain her calm.

Then, a tear fell down quickly.

Soon thereafter, crying could be heard.

Evelyn Curtis wiped her tears and choked back sobs, "After that incident happened, I was in shock. You know how important a woman’s reputation is. I was constantly debating whether I should call the police, little did I know..."

"I went to the manager’s office to ask for leave and just happened to run into Mr. Jones. He brought me to see Justin. He comforted me gently and said he would take responsibility for me. The fear in my heart gradually subsided."

"It is because of this, I rely on Justin. I am willing to be with Justin and I will not blame him. After all, he was driven to the point of having no choice but to do that to me."

Evelyn Curtis said earnestly, her eyes moist, as if she had really gone through that incident, everything seemed so logical.

Jasmine Clarkson looked a bit displeased. Although she always felt something wasn’t quite right, she couldn’t find any faults with this woman.

After all, it was her grandson who was at fault in the first place.

But...

"I heard that you and the hotel manager Mr. Williams have a close relationship, is this true?" Jasmine Clarkson looked at her coldly.

For some unknown reason, Jasmine Clarkson didn’t like this girl.

Even before she met her, she felt that she wouldn’t like her.

Now that she saw her in person, she disliked her even more.

"Mr... Mr. Williams?"

Evelyn Curtis was startled, her heart pounding.

Could it be that this old woman had investigated her affair with Mr. Williams?

The reason she had been able to climb up the ranks was precisely because she was secretly involved with Mr. Williams.

Mr. William’s house had a tiger mom; they always met discreetly in the office during work hours.

They were always very careful every time. There shouldn’t have been any slip-ups.

Could it be... that Charlie William’s mouth had been pried open?

Evelyn Curtis clenched her teeth secretly, then put on a gentle smile and lightly laughed, "Mr. Williams is my superior, and also the guide who led me in after I joined. We do have a good relationship, like a teacher and a friend. Mr. Williams also groomed me to be his successor."

She absolutely couldn’t admit it.

She’d rather die than admit it.

Otherwise, everything would be ruined.

"Your mouth seems to have been soaked in honey for a long time." Jasmine Clarkson snorted coldly.

Even if this girl and Mr. Williams weren’t having an affair, she was definitely not a simple person to deal with.

Evelyn Curtis went pale, feeling extremely nervous.

She forced a smile and tried to flatter her, "Grandma, is it that you do not like me? I don’t know what I’ve done wrong. If you tell me, I will correct it and promise not to make you angry again."

"You didn’t do anything wrong, but you can’t marry Justin." Jasmine Clarkson spoke up.

"Why?" Evelyn Curtis blurted out, her expression ugly.

"Because Justin is already married, he has a wife!"
