"That magical power... even from a distance, it’s terrifying," Lucy stated, her voice barely a whisper.

"Finn’s all alone... facing that kind of fearsome power..." Natsu’s hand trembled.

Makarov slowly pushed himself up from the ground.

"I have to go!" His expression was unwavering. His gaze seemed to penetrate the trees, finding the boy facing the abyss. His eyes were filled with worry.

He took a step, his aged body trembling with each faltering stride. Yet, the deep imprints his feet left in the earth spoke of his unwavering resolve.

Bang—

The sound of a fist hitting the ground. Everyone looked towards Natsu.

"What are we afraid of?" he murmured, Gildarts’ words echoing in his mind: "Fear isn’t evil; it shows us how weak we are." He stood, his body still trembling.

"Knowing that makes us stronger!"

"Then we get stronger, and face it head-on!"

Natsu looked around at his companions.

"We have each other! We have nothing to fear!"

"But Finn... he’s alone, facing that hopeless situation!"

He roared the words out.

"He’s right, Natsu... we have to reach Finn!" Gray, his hands shaking, pushed himself up, his voice strained with emotion.

"He must need us right now! How can we just stand here and do nothing?!"

"Even without magic, we can’t give up!"

They helped each other to their feet.

"You youngsters..." Makarov wiped a tear from his eye, then looked ahead.

"Let’s go help Finn!"

An unimaginably immense magical pressure pressed down on Finn. Hades lightly waved his arm, and deep purple magic danced around him.

"To pursue true magical power is to descend into the bottomless abyss of darkness!"

"There, one can discover... the single, shining magic within the abyss. I’m so close, just a little further, and I’ll grasp that ultimate magic," he said slowly.

"But that ’little bit’ is the greatest abyss of all!"

As Hades spoke, his palm slowly turned towards Finn.

"And what will fill that gap? The Great Magic World! The world where Zeref resides!"

"Hahahaha!" Finn laughed.

"What’s so amusing?" Hades asked, his voice low and menacing.

"I’m laughing at you, you’re a clown," Finn said, looking up, his face a mask of derision. "This Great Magic World? It doesn’t exist!"

Hades’ eyes narrowed, his hand freezing mid-motion.

"You brat, you know nothing!" he roared, his voice filled with fury.

He shook his head, then continued, "It doesn’t matter. You’ll soon cease to exist in this world."

His still hands began to move again, one rising, one falling, like the hands of a clock.

"Someone like you cannot reach the Great Magic World. You lack the resolve to truly embrace the abyss!"

Hum...

The magic surrounding Hades erupted in a frenzy, the earth itself trembling violently.

"Zeref’s Book, Chapter Four, Verse Twelve, Forbidden Magic—Divine Punishment!"

With Hades’ words, his crimson right eye blazed with an intense scarlet light.

The surrounding magical energy seemed to warp and distort, spreading outwards in a chaotic wave.

Uwaaaah...

A sound like a demon’s wail echoed through the air.

Then, from the rubble, ruins, and trees, dark purple, amorphous entities began to slowly emerge.

Quickly, these entities formed into numerous dark purple hands—no, claws. Demon claws.

Following the claws, the bodies of their owners crawled forth from their hiding places.

Their skin was the same dark purple, marked with strange, swirling streaks. They were numerous, their bodies grotesque and misshapen.

"Uoooooh!"

These monstrous beings unleashed a terrifying chorus of howls, their cries sending chills down the spine.

Despite their relatively small size, each one radiated a powerful magical aura that was far from insignificant.

These were demons—demons created by Hades, beings that did not belong to this world!

Countless demons writhed and swayed, their permeating magical energy staining the surroundings with an oppressive darkness.

The once familiar landscape was now transformed into a terrifying hellscape.

"What in the world is this?!" A cry of astonishment rang out.

But it wasn’t Finn who spoke...

It was Makarov and the others, having finally arrived on the scene.

Finn’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"What are you doing here?!" he shouted, his voice filled with a mixture of alarm and frustration.

Despite facing Hades’ devastating magic, Finn felt no fear, for he knew that this level of attack couldn’t kill him. After all, Ryujin Jakka, the Zanpakuto forged from his very soul, served as an unwavering protector of his spirit.

However, the arrival of Makarov and the others instilled a completely different kind of fear within Finn—a fear for their safety, a fear that they might meet their end here.

"Makarov, and your little brats..." Hades’ gaze turned towards the figures that had appeared behind Finn, a cruel smile twisting his lips.

"Ho ho, since you’ve all come, even better. Let’s dispose of you all at once," he stated, his voice dripping with malice.

Makarov ignored Hades, or perhaps there was nothing left to say to his former guild master. His gaze remained fixed on Finn.

"You damn brat, as your elder, I couldn’t possibly let you face death alone!"

"Yeah, letting a comrade face despair like that? We’d rather be killed ourselves!"

Natsu clenched his fists, his voice ringing out with fierce determination.

"Even without magic... even on the brink of exhaustion... Fairy Tail will never abandon a single one of its members!"

The group rallied around Finn, their faces resolute.

Makarov raised his gaze towards Finn.

"If you can’t use magic, then use your fists! If you can’t use your fists, then use your teeth!"

"Never give up until the very end!"

"That’s Fairy Tail!"

At that moment, a genuine smile spread across Finn’s face. He felt an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. With such incredible comrades by his side, what was there to fear in the face of death?

Meanwhile, Ultear and Nancy reached the base of the Tenrou Tree.

"Are you really sure you can do this in your current state?" Nancy asked, her voice laced with concern, her gaze fixed on Ultear.

After all, Ultear had just been engaged in a grueling battle against Hades, resulting in a significant depletion of her magical energy.

Furthermore, the task of restoring such a colossal entity as the Tenrou Tree would require an immense amount of magical power, far beyond the capabilities of most mages.
