Usually, it those who are stronger than a target that can spy on the target. But the opposite is the case with Stella.
So it is not an understatement to say that she is strange. The only thing that makes her actions a little bit better is that she was watching him in order to make sure that his process of advancing to the peak of the third mortal coil went well.
So he sent back a message to her, "I'm fine. Thanks for asking."
She replied, "That's good to hear."
Then she asked quickly, "Since you're fine, can we meet now?"
Before he could reply, she sent another text saying, "You promised to meet me after you reach the tenth transformation, remember?"
He sighed and said to himself, "I guess it is on me for saying I was fine. Not that she can't sense that I am fine. She was probably asking just to be polite."
After sighing, he said, "Let's just get this over with. Surely I can spare 10 minutes of my time to meet the person in possession of the so-called "God Physique."
So he texted her, saying, "Alright. Let's meet now."
He doesn't like meeting fans, but he has to meet this one because she is special. Since he has, he decided to make good use of his time doing so which is to spar with her and test his strength.
According to his estimates, he can now match the power of cultivators at the golden core realm. He would like to see that in action.
He would also like to make up for the killing points requirements that he has amassed for the past ten years. All of these considerations made him decide to take her on hunting missions.
After making up his mind, he left the cultivation room and went to inform Roar about his plans to hunt. He took his warhammer with him.
He couldn't put the warhammer into his space ring because it was technically a living thing. Putting it in his space ring will cause it to slowly suffocate.
He is fine with carrying it with his hand, but Roar doesn't like it because he is the one that will have to carry himself, Arthur, and the Warhammer whenever they move.
Roar grumbled about the heavy Warhammer as they left their apartment. Their apartment was essentially a space that was 20 m by 40 m. It was on one of the floors of the east tower.
There are no mountains to live on in the inner sect. What they live in are tall towers that were built with many floors in order to accommodate everyone.
Each tower has 1,000 floors, and each floor has four apartments that split it equally. There are 10 such towers that serve as accommodation for cultivators at the third mortal coil scattered throughout the secret realm.
Then he asked Roar, "What do you think it feels like to live on the floating islands?"
Roar shook his head and said, "I don't trust it. Rocks should not be flying. It is an aberration that I hope to never set foot on."
Arthur just chuckled. He didn't try to convince Roar otherwise.
He didn't have the time to convince Roar anyway. This was because Stella had arrived.
She came riding a small floating boat. When she arrived, the mana in the environment clung onto her as if she were some celebrity. She became the center of the world.
She was already beautiful, but the way mana swirled around her and caused her body to glow with energy made her beauty reach an angelic level. The fact that she descended from the sky from one of the floating islands only added to her angelic beauty.
Her eyes and golden hair glowed with suppressed power and active mana, respectively. Most people would be mesmerized by the sight of her, but Arthur was clear-headed. His spirit remained unmoved despite the faint influence from her physique trying to subdue him.
The attempt to subdue him was not an active action performed with ill intent. It was an effect caused by her physique trying to extend its dominion of mana into his existence.
This effect doesn't enslave people, but it makes people have a good impression of her and like her, just like everyone likes Mana and feels good having a lot of it around them.
Unfortunately for her physique, his mind is very strong. He literally has a solidified spirit as one of his talents.
For some reason, even a nascent soul patriarch couldn't influence his mind directly. So there was no way her body was going to be able to influence his mind through the mana in his body.
So instead of feeling like her presence was pleasant and heavenly, he only felt instinctive rejection for her presence. This instinctive rejection made him rouse his internal energy in resistance.
Violet mana erupted out of his body and pushed aside the mana around him. The eruption of lightning also caused a thunderclap that stunned her and a sonic boom that pushed her away from him.
He had done all of these instinctively. It was as if he was trying to push away a layer of grime that was trying to cover his body.
But when he saw that it had harmed her, he rushed to apologize so that she wouldn't get the wrong idea.
