Chapter 41: Chapter 41: Break a Leg!
Elias Lancaster was filled with anger.
"Master Lancaster, I was wrong! I won’t do it again." Theodore Lynch immediately pleaded for forgiveness.
Serena Yeats gathered her courage and approached Elias, reaching out to tug at his clothes, "Elias, I know I was wrong. Next time I’ll definitely take my phone, and I’ll tell you everything first."
Elias pressed his thin lips together, looking at them coldly, saying nothing.
"Uncle..."
Elias met her clear eyes and gave in, sighing inwardly.
"There won’t be a next time."
"Thank you, Master Lancaster!"
"Scram!"
Theodore Lynch bolted away.
Serena Yeats blinked her eyes, watching Theodore Lynch run faster than a rabbit, puffing her little mouth, "Such a coward."
Elias pulled her onto his lap, wrapping an arm around her waist, and lightly tapped her backside twice.
"Ah!"
Serena Yeats exclaimed, her face turning bright red instantly.
"You deserve a spanking, disappear again next time, and I’ll break your legs!"
She knew she was wrong, and he must have been worried sick. She also knew he wasn’t angry anymore.
So, she hooked her arms around his neck and kissed the man’s lips proactively.
Her good mood naturally improved the man’s mood, so he stopped mentioning unpleasant matters.
In the car ride home.
Elias listened to her talk happily about the livestreaming.
He looked at her indulgently, seriously listening as she shared her joy with him.
The man’s expression was full of tenderness, "My Serena is amazing now, let me give you a reward."
With that, he leaned over to kiss his darling, initially softly, but as things went on, he lost control.
Serena Yeats was kissed until her legs went weak, she completely melted in the man’s arms.
His body was tense, but he dared not make any sudden moves. She wasn’t in good health, having been admitted to the hospital several times earlier, so he couldn’t afford any mishaps.
He made every effort to restrain himself, adjusting his breathing.
"Serena, I want you so, so badly."
His words were filled with possessiveness.
Serena Yeats was startled, her rationality quickly returning.
"No, Elias. It would harm the baby."
She pushed him away and sat back in her seat.
Elias sighed, wondering when this would end.
Serena Yeats covered her warm face.
"Elias is bad..."
His heated breath returned again to Serena Yeats; he leaned close to her ear and said in a low voice, "I’ll make you stay in bed for three days."
His current thoughts were all about the arrival of the two little ones faster so it wouldn’t interfere with being intimate with his wife.
Back home, it was time for dinner.
She was in a great mood today, thus also having a good appetite, eating quite a lot.
In the end, she even drank a big bowl of soup.
When they walked to the pavilion and sat for a while, Elias turned around to find she had already fallen asleep.
She indeed was tired today, having streamed for several hours.
He shook his head with a gentle smile, bent over, and carried her horizontally, heading towards the villa.
Carrying her directly to the bathroom, afterwards, he realized he overestimated his self-control and patience.
Facing the person he liked, naked right in front of him, how could he not let his imagination run wild?
Helplessly, he sped up washing her, dressed her, and carried her back to bed.
He looked down at the person on the bed.
Sweating profusely, he immediately turned around and walked into the bathroom.
A moment later.
He lay on the bed and kissed her forehead.
Just as he moved away to lie down, Serena Yeats immediately rolled over, hugging him and snuggling into his arms.
The flame in him that had just settled reignited, his voice hoarse, "Baby, don’t move, or else I might lose control."
Serena Yeats seemed to hear him and dared not move, falling into a deep sleep in his arms.
It seemed she was having a beautiful dream, with a smile on her lips.
Elias laughed helplessly.
Meanwhile, Theodore Lynch wasn’t faring as well, having been directly dispatched by Elias Lancaster to Afria for project research.
Theodore Lynch, boarding at the airport, was crying without tears, complaining in a group chat about Elias Lancaster prioritized love over friends.
Elias Lancaster glanced at the message, recalling how his little lady was happy this afternoon and told him she earned a lot of money.
So he replied in the group, "Let the project department handle it."
Everyone in the group was puzzled.
Theodore Lynch thought Serena Yeats must have said good things for him, quickly calculated the earnings from the day and transferred it to Serena Yeats.
Elias Lancaster heard Serena Yeats’ phone ring before sleep but didn’t pay attention.
The next morning.
"Elias..."
Serena Yeats came running downstairs with her phone.
Elias Lancaster watched her with concern, calling out as she ran, "Serena, don’t run, walk slowly."
Only after pulling her into his arms did his heart settle.
"Whatever it is, don’t rush. Take your time, what if you fall?" Elias said worriedly.
"Sorry, I forgot. Next time I’ll remember not to run." Serena Yeats said, standing on tiptoe to plant a kiss on Elias’s cheek.
Elias smiled, "I’m glad you’re in such a good mood!"
"Mmhmm..." Serena nodded, "Mr. Lynch transferred money to me, said it was from the sales in yesterday’s livestream, a lot!"
"My Serena is amazing." Elias stroked her head.
Serena Yeats looked at the money on her phone, "I want to save money to buy milk powder for the baby."
Elias couldn’t help but laugh, wishing he could say they wouldn’t need to save; even if they had more kids, he could provide for them.
But ultimately, he said nothing, seeing her happy made him happy too.
After breakfast.
Elias took Serena out.
"Serena, I’ll take you to meet a teacher today, your competition is about to start, after you give birth, if you want to attend class, we can arrange a time with this teacher, today is just to see how things go, okay?"
Serena nodded obediently, "Okay."
Elias reached out, tidying her clothes, "You won’t see Dolae Thorne anymore, she’s gone abroad."
"Mm." Serena replied, then seemed to think of something, "Elias, did you send her abroad?"
"Her brother sent her abroad."
Serena understood, knowing he had a hand in it, whispered, "Elias, you’re so good to me, I could never bear leaving you."
"Then we’ll stay together all our lives." Elias said with deep affection in his eyes.
Half an hour later.
They arrived at The J Keaton Family.
Old Master Keaton was waiting in the study. Upon seeing her, he was briefly stunned, then kindly waved her over, "Little girl, come in quickly!"
Serena glanced at Elias, saw him signaling her to go over, and stepped forward, bowing respectfully to Old Master Keaton.
"Old Master Keaton, thank you for your trouble." Elias said warmly.
Old Master Keaton waved his hand, looking at the young girl before him, his eyes filled with meaning and excitement.
"Hello, Grandpa Keaton."
