Chapter 78: Chapter 78: Sleeping Together
Elias Lancaster was stunned for a moment, thought about it, and realized that he was actually jealous of his two sons.
But he wouldn’t admit it.
Serena Yeats reached out her hand and touched his tightly furrowed brow, "You are my husband, the two babies are our treasures, you all are equally important, just with different roles."
"Elias, don’t dislike them, okay? They’re your children too!"
She was very afraid that Elias Lancaster wouldn’t like these two children.
She hoped the children could grow up in a happy, complete family, in a family full of love.
Not like her childhood.
Elias Lancaster instantly lost his temper, "As soon as you get home, you focus on them and ignore me!"
Serena Yeats lived in this contradiction every day.
This man was always competing with his sons for attention every day.
"You always have that cold face, why should I care about you?"
She directly shifted all the responsibility onto Elias Lancaster.
Elias Lancaster was a bit upset.
He bit her lip hard, "If you talk to me, how would I have a cold face?"
Serena Yeats was pinned down by the man, afraid to move. She looked into the familiar desire in the man’s eyes.
Afraid that the next moment, this man would do something inappropriate in front of the children.
She softened her stance and took the initiative to kiss the man, "Elias, I’m afraid you don’t like the two babies."
Elias Lancaster didn’t know why she would think that way.
What he was dissatisfied with was that the two children had taken away all of Serena Yeats’s attention, but he didn’t dislike the two children.
These were his and Serena Yeats’s children, how could he not like them!
He turned over to lie beside Serena Yeats, holding her, "I don’t dislike them; I just don’t want all your attention on them."
Serena Yeats felt the man’s body’s reaction and dared not move.
"I just haven’t seen them all afternoon and want to spend more time with them."
Elias Lancaster knew he was in the wrong and gave a low grunt.
Serena Yeats smiled, "Are you still jealous?"
"I’m not jealous." He would not admit it.
Serena Yeats giggled inwardly, "Then from now on, be more generous and don’t be so petty with the babies."
The man gave a small grunt.
And just like that, a small tiff was resolved.
Serena Yeats breathed a sigh of relief inside.
Looking at the two little heads sleeping sweetly on the bed.
Elias Lancaster’s gaze fell on them.
Serena Yeats naturally knew what he wanted to do.
But she wanted to sleep with the babies; she really hadn’t slept with them for a long time.
She looked at Elias Lancaster with a spoiled expression, "Elias, can we sleep with the babies tonight?"
Elias Lancaster looked into her eyes and listened to her soft tone. He didn’t agree, but he also didn’t express disagreement.
Without saying, Serena Yeats already felt it from the aura emanating from him, disagreeing.
She didn’t give up, "Elias, just for one night, please?"
Elias Lancaster gave her a look, "On one condition."
Hearing him relent, Serena Yeats immediately nodded.
Elias Lancaster thought about it...
But she wouldn’t agree, so he proposed a simple one instead.
"Kiss me."
Serena Yeats’s face instantly turned red.
It’s not like she hadn’t initiated a kiss before.
But speaking of it still made her blush and feel shy.
"Close your eyes."
Being stared at by the man like that, how could she not feel embarrassed to kiss.
Elias Lancaster closed his eyes, anticipating her initiative.
In the dim light, beauty was seductive.
Their distance got closer, and so did their hearts.
Serena Yeats’s lips imprinted on the man’s thin lips.
The man opened his eyes, looking at the person in front of him with eyes closed, flushed, sweet and innocent.
His breath instantly quickened, and the fire in him ignited.
He turned the tables.
The tender kiss quickly became intense.
Serena Yeats hadn’t reacted before she was brought into the man’s rhythm.
The temperature in the room was rising, and it soon became ambiguous.
Both were lost in the bliss.
It was unclear how long it was before they separated.
Serena Yeats was left weak, lying softly on his chest, breathing in the fresh air.
Her face was as red as ever, not daring to look up at the man.
The man couldn’t help but kiss her lips again.
Making Serena Yeats’s face turn redder, she playfully hit him with her small fist on his firm chest.
The man’s laughter sounded by her ear, and she buried her head in the quilt.
Until the man got up to take a shower.
She finally emerged from the quilt, sitting up, looking at the fair, cute faces of the two babies.
Couldn’t help but grasp Yara’s hand in hers.
So small!
So cute!
She then held Yuri’s little foot in her hand.
Too adorable!
She picked up her phone, taking a couple of photos to capture the details of their growth.
As Elias Lancaster came out, what he saw was Serena Yeats looking at the two little ones on the bed, smiling foolishly.
He smiled and walked toward the bed.
Serena Yeats hurriedly shared the growth records of the two babies with him.
"Elias, I want to take the babies to shoot an album to record every stage of their growth."
In the Yeats Family album, Serena Yeats was never there.
She didn’t want her babies to have regrets.
Elias Lancaster smiled, "Let Nanny Livingston arrange it tomorrow."
Serena Yeats happily agreed.
She placed the babies in the middle of the bed, "Let’s sleep."
Elias Lancaster called out, "Baby."
But when he saw Serena Yeats looking at him with that pitiful pleading gaze, his heart softened.
He squinted at the two little bunny rabbits, thinking he was kind enough to lend his precious to them for one night.
Elias Lancaster thought he was generous enough, "Let’s sleep."
Serena Yeats felt incredibly happy and wrapped her arms around the two babies, sweetly saying goodnight to them before closing her eyes.
Elias Lancaster closed his eyes, wanting to sleep quickly, but he couldn’t fall asleep.
He didn’t know how long it was before he opened his eyes in the dark to look at the two small ones and one big one on the bed,
The two small ones were asleep, seemingly having sweet dreams, even smiling, and the big one was sleeping soundly too.
Only Elias Lancaster was wide awake.
Without holding his dear one, he couldn’t sleep!
Elias Lancaster stared at the two small ones and the big one for a while before finally taking action.
He pulled Serena Yeats over to this side of the bed into his embrace, now he could sleep.
The next day.
When Serena Yeats woke up and saw the two babies, it took her a while to react.
The warmth behind her, the familiar big hand on her waist, she didn’t need to think to know it was Elias Lancaster.
How did she end up sleeping over here?
She thought bumpily about how she slept on that side last night, wondering how she got over here.
The two babies were in between them; she wouldn’t have gotten it wrong!
Then how did she end up in Elias Lancaster’s arms?
Could it be that she moved over in her sleep?
Impossible.
She was usually very well-behaved when she slept.
Then there was only one possibility left.
It must be that Elias Lancaster carried her over.
She looked back at the man, who was looking at her with smiling eyes.
Seeing his smile, Serena Yeats was sure of her guess.
She said helplessly, "Elias, don’t do it next time. It’s not safe for the babies to sleep on the edge; what if they fall off?"
Since birth, the two babies didn’t sleep peacefully, luckily, they hadn’t fallen off the bed.
Hearing this, Elias Lancaster’s face turned a bit gloomy, "Not again."
Serena Yeats handed the two kids to the nanny, watched them being fed, then went to freshen up.
After breakfast, she was ready to go to the school’s library to study.
At the school gate, Elias Lancaster was still holding her, kissing and not letting go, until it was almost time to be late before he let her go.
A morning of studying and an afternoon of classes made Serena Yeats appreciate the beauty of learning.
This afternoon’s last class, the teacher had something to do, so it was self-study. Serena Yeats suddenly wanted to go to the company.
All along, it was Elias Lancaster who came to pick her up from school.
Today, there was still time.
She decided to go pick up Elias Lancaster from work.
As soon as class ended, she took Nia Irving and Reese Lancaster along and headed out.
"Young Madam, are we going home?"
Nia Irving asked.
"No, we’re going to the company to find Elias."
