Chapter 66: Chapter 66: Back Again
The words fell.
The bathroom door opened, and Elias Lancaster walked in from the outside, dressed in casual clothes.
Serena Yeats glanced over, stunned for two seconds.
"It really is fake."
She felt so wronged.
Tears kept falling.
She cursed under her breath.
"Elias Lancaster is a big baddie."
"A huge liar, sob sob..."
"I can bathe myself; I don’t need him to bathe me."
"Who said I lied to you?"
Elias Lancaster’s tone carried affection and amusement.
He looked up and gently touched Serena Yeats’s head.
Then he leaned closer, meeting her gaze.
"Sob sob... Elias Lancaster is a big liar, promised to bathe me when I got home after confinement, liar..."
Suddenly, she felt a softness on her lips.
She wiped away her tears and saw the person standing in front of her.
The face she had thought of day and night, the tall figure.
She stared dumbly for a while before she came to her senses.
Elias Lancaster reached out and gently embraced her.
"Serena, my darling, I’m back."
He whispered softly in Serena Yeats’s ear.
Serena Yeats tremblingly reached out her hand, touching the firm chest, strong arms, and the warm face.
"You... you’re back?"
Her voice was choked with emotion and grievance.
Elias Lancaster released her and kissed her lips, "I’m back."
Serena Yeats’s tears fell again.
"What on earth did you do that took you so long to come back?"
Elias Lancaster watched her tears, his heart aching, and he scooped her out of the water, pressing her against the wall as he bowed his head to kiss her.
"Mm..."
Serena Yeats nervously grasped his shirt, responding to him bashfully but passionately.
The melding of bodies made it hard for the two souls to remain in control.
Moreover, now Serena Yeats was entirely uncovered.
When Elias Lancaster’s hands covered Serena Yeats’s body, she couldn’t help but tremble.
Elias Lancaster buried his head in her neck, breathing heavily.
"Wait till you’re ready for more, now let me hold you for a while."
Serena Yeats wasn’t resisting, she was even somewhat anticipating.
But when she thought of herself not being able to bathe or wash her hair for a month, and how dirty the water had become just now.
She feared Elias Lancaster might find her distasteful.
"I just feel like I smell."
Elias Lancaster listened to his little girl’s soft and adorable voice, his heart settled instantly.
No matter how difficult things were while he was away, seeing Serena Yeats at that moment made him feel that everything he did was worthwhile.
As long as his little girl lives purely and happily forever, everything is worth it.
Serena Yeats snuggled deeper into his embrace.
Elias Lancaster playfully nibbled on her earlobe.
Causing her to shiver lightly.
"Don’t move."
"I’m cold."
Elias Lancaster immediately released Serena Yeats, realizing.
She wasn’t dressed, leaning against the wall, she must be cold.
He quickly turned on the shower, letting warm water flow over her, then turned to change the water in the bathtub.
He picked up Serena Yeats, placed her in the tub, keeping his gaze above her neck.
Serena Yeats sighed contentedly, enjoying the warmth of the water.
Elias Lancaster’s body tensed as he took a towel and began to gently wash her.
When he reached her waist, the little girl’s laughter echoed in the bathroom.
Elias Lancaster, having abstained for too long, was on the brink of losing control.
But everyone had repeatedly emphasized before he came in that he had to hold back.
Serena had just completed her confinement, she needed to recover her vitality after childbirth, which required a full sixty days.
"Don’t goof off, just bathe properly."
Elias Lancaster coaxed her, apologizing as he watched her with a pitiful expression.
Serena Yeats held his hand, noticeably roughened, unsure what he had been doing.
But she knew, he worked hard and faced dangers.
She smiled and asked him.
"Elias, have you seen the baby yet?"
Elias Lancaster nodded.
"Thank you, Serena, my happiness is something you fought for with your life."
Elias Lancaster gently washed her back.
Serena Yeats felt as though mud had washed off her body.
It was so embarrassing!
She quietly explained.
"I normally wouldn’t be like this, but my mom and Nanny Livingston said I shouldn’t bathe during confinement, so..."
Elias Lancaster leaned down and kissed her back.
"You’re always the best."
Serena Yeats turned to look at him.
"Don’t you think I smell bad? I’m dirty."
"No, you have a milky fragrance. Not dirty at all."
Serena Yeats thought Elias Lancaster’s sense of smell must be off.
Though she could definitely smell herself, and he said she smelled sweet.
No matter what, hearing that made Serena Yeats happy.
Elias Lancaster diligently washed her upper body.
He was struggling to keep it together, unable to look away any longer.
He handed Serena Yeats the towel.
"You wash yourself a bit, I’ll step out for a second but will return soon to continue."
"No..."
Serena Yeats quickly grabbed him.
She wasn’t foolish; she knew Elias Lancaster was suffering as he held back, softly pleading.
"I can wash myself, if you stand there with your back turned, is that okay?"
Elias Lancaster saw fear in her eyes.
"I won’t leave; I’ll help you wash."
Serena Yeats shook her head.
"If you stand there without looking, it won’t be hard to endure. I can wash myself."
Elias Lancaster conceded.
This bath was time-consuming and laborious.
Serena Yeats scrubbed until her hands were sore, finally cleaning herself from head to toe.
Elias Lancaster stared at the wall, trying to forget what he’d seen.
But after a while, there was no sound behind him.
He assumed something might be wrong with Serena Yeats.
He quickly turned around, only to have the sight of an alabaster body enter his view.
The curves, this...
He shut his eyes, restraining the urge to pounce.
Serena Yeats slowly emerged from the tub.
Elias Lancaster picked up a towel to wrap Serena Yeats, carrying her out of the bathroom and placing her on the bed.
Once he finished dressing Serena Yeats, Elias Lancaster was drenched in sweat.
Serena Yeats lay on the bed, resting her head on Elias Lancaster’s thigh.
Allowing Elias Lancaster to use the hairdryer to blow her hair dry.
"Did you finish your business?"
Elias Lancaster murmured lightly.
"Not leaving anymore?"
Serena Yeats gazed at him with bright eyes.
Elias Lancaster murmured positively.
"That’s great, you can finally stay home with the baby."
Serena Yeats wrapped her arms around his neck, sitting on his lap.
Complaining about Yara being a crybaby.
And worrying about Sonny not crying.
Elias Lancaster listened intently to her sharing.
When Elias Lancaster heard that Yara made her lose sleep.
He was upset and resolved to have a talk with his two unruly sons.
Serena Yeats laughed heartily.
Continuing to talk about the babies, telling him how she played matchmaker for Brandon Grayson and Nathan Sawyer.
She shared so much.
Elias Lancaster listened attentively.
Serena Yeats’s hand moved up, deftly unbuttoning his shirt, her hand slipping inside.
Elias Lancaster’s eyes turned profound.
The sensations were unbearable,
Elias Lancaster’s voice husky.
"Where did you learn this?"
